The condo was very nicely furnished. Comfortable, well kept. Would stay here again and would recommend to my friends.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful VRBO in Rocky Point, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The location of the property was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and within easy reach of all the local stores and restaurants. The rental itself was immaculate and well-maintained, providing us with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The spacious rooms, modern decor, and well-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. The highlight, of course, was the stunning view from the balcony, where we spent many evenings relaxing and taking in the breathtaking sunset. The owner were incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. Their hospitality and professionalism truly made a difference, and we felt well taken care of. Overall, we had an amazing vacation experience at this VRBO. Beautiful property. Very, very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is extremely secure. The only negative is the pillows. LOL! They're a bit hard. Next time we will bring our own. We would definitely stay here again. Quick access to the pool and beach are worth it. Thank you so much.

Only negative was the property restaurants food was not good. No knock on the accommodations I would stay again just would not eat at the property restaurants.

My husband, son and I went for the weekend to enjoy a relaxing weekend. This condo is beautiful, very clean with everything you can possibly need. Kitchen fully equipped. Microwave did not have a handle, it looked like someone broke it off. It is close to the pool and beach, therefore beautiful view. I met the owner, he is very friendly. This was my first time staying ground level. It is convenient but there is a negative side to this. Neither one of smokes but both mornings it seems someone decided to use our patio and furniture to smoke. First morning we woke up to 3 cigarette butts next to patio door, which I threw away, and the next morning we woke up to 1 cigarette butt. It’s kind of scary to think if we didn’t lock up someone could of walked right in with our son sleeping in the sofa couch. That was the only negative part of our trip to think someone felt free to sit outside not caring someone is staying there. Also, it is right in front of elevators so if you’re a light sleeper it can get really noisy. Everyone coming in at all hours. Aside from that I would definitely stay there again.

We loved this place ! It was the best 1st floor unit at the resort! The whole staff was great, from the owrner, to the front desk, to the waiters, and housekeepers. The unit was prefect for our family of 4. We will defiantly be back!

Enough room for 5 to sleep. Was clean. Bring yourself some groceries, is equipped with kitchen supplies for cooking and eating. just steps from pools and the sandy beach.

Loved the ground floor location easy access to the beach/pools/bar. It was perfect for us three. We took our 1 year old he skipped naps left and right but was so nice to be able to walk up to the room and change him as needed. The view was awesome. Would definitely book again next year if it’s available

Process was very simple. Communication with owners was very quick and efficient. Loved the proximity of the unit to the pool and the beach. Very convenient to access parking lot or garage. Only downside was that spring breakers were very loud using the elevator at all hours of the night. Would definitely consider booking this unit again.

I haven’t been to Rocky Point in nearly a decade so choosing the right location to take my new spouse and our children was tough. Ultimately I landed on Las Palomas. John was an absolute pleasure to work with and very helpful with all the questions and concerns I had about my stay. Very quick response times. Usually when looking at properties the photos make it look bigger than it actually is but not in this case. The condo exceeded my expectations and had everything we needed for a great full week stay. I was nervous at first because I thought that Phase 1 was more geared towards family while Phase 2 was for couples with no kids but that simply wasn’t the case. They had adult primary sections and kids sections alike. In my personal opinion, Phase 2 is much better than Phase 1 (even if it’s not fully complete with the coffee shop). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach was effortless and being ground level, pool side, is indescribable. I feel like I have been spoiled and this is the only way to travel to Rocky Point now. I will be staying here again!

This was the perfect place for a quick get away. Loved the access to the pool and beach from the first floor patio. Only downside is that the bedroom is directly across from the elevators, so you can hear the traffic there as well as the hallways. If you're a heavy sleeper, you're fine! Will definitely stay here again!

This condo is absolutely perfect for a couple that wants to getaway to Rocky Point. We loved the complete kitchen and generous closet space. The bed was very comfortable. We will rent this VRBO again in the future!

This was a very nice little cabin, best suited a couple , or a couple with 2 small kids Well equipped. Lots of outdoor room of the property! When first arriving, the first thing I noticed was. an old trailer ( residence) next door, and thought “ Oh boy , wonder what we have next to us here “ however during our four day stay, we never heard ,Saw, or anything out of them…in fact, when their dogs would bark, she was quick to come out and quiet them down, and Never heard them at night ! It was a very quiet place really, and by the end of our stay, we had decided that on our next Asheville trip, we will Definitely stay there again ! Eleanor, ( the owner ) was very accommodating. For the $$ you can’t beat this little cabin, with the acreage included, what a great deal !! And Thank You Eleanor !!

Great location of condo- you walk Out and you are right at pool And beach-very clean and amazing property. However the mattress needs to be replaced- it was hard as a rock and thin, after the 1st night both myself and husband had really bad back Pain. After 3 nights our backs were regally bad. Would Love to rent this condo again if they replace the mattress.

The condo is mere steps out the back slider to the pool, hot tub, lazy river, swim up bar and beach. The kitchen is well stocked with all needed equipment and there are gas grills just outside the front door. The finished and furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The Las Palomas staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be returning soon.

Property was great! Close to the beach, no afternoon sun coming in the window. Unit only had 2 cereal bowls though- a few more would have been helpful. A few lightbulbs were also out. Perfect for us.

We always have a great time at Las Palomas. The location was wonderful, the condo was very well maintained, decorated very nicely and beautiful teakwood patio furniture. Unfortunately, this the bed was so hard our bodies ached and we dreaded going to bed every night. We did stop at the front desk to see if they could put on a waffle topper or foam topper to take away some of the firmness and they said no problem. This was at 11am. We waited 3 hours with no response. We went back to the front desk and talked to a completely different person and told them the situation and we were assured that someone would get to it. This was at 2pm. We decided to head to the pool knowing that when we went back to the room about 5pm we would have the mattress situation all taken care of. When walked in we knew the room had been cleaned, so we looked under the sheets and nothing had changed. Such a disappointment. So, for the remainder of our stay we slept on top of the comforter with a sheet and blanket we found in the closet. The front desk dropped the ball completely! For future guests our recommendation is to have a foam topper rolled up in the closet for someone who has difficulty with the extra firm mattress. I would also recommend a luggage rack. Otherwise, guests have no place to unpack their luggage except the floor or the bed. The bedspread is a white cozy beautiful comforter, and we would not want it to get filthy from luggage rollers so, we pulled a chair from the dining room to the bedroom to unpack. As I said in the beginning this is a wonderful condo, but poor management made this particular stay difficult to enjoy.
