Condo had ants and bugs in the shower. We contacted the property manager. The response was, “should be bug spray under the kitchen sink”. When I told them there was none, I received no response.

Reviewer Comments: Facility was doing electrical updates no elevator service for over 34 hours, There were signs posted, however there was no hot water for over 24 hours and we were not notified of this. It was the day before we flew home and had spent the day at the beach without hot water to shower. This was not the fault of the rental owners, but the fault of North Coast village. I have always enjoyed staying there and will stay there again in spite of this last problem.

We stay at the north coast village every summer and this condo was perfect, it was equipped with all our beach needs, had a lot of space and the view from up top was awesome. Would definitely stay at this one again.

We love Northcoast Village. So close to the beach, the harbor and the pier. Everyone is friendly and the grounds are clean and quiet. We highly recommend.

We were there for the E64 soccer Nationals for two of our girls but we decided to make it into a vacation while we were there. The condos were amazing, the landscaping was beautiful, and we enjoyed California so much more than we thought we would (we are from PA)!

The ocean view was beautiful, the pool and hot tub were wonderful, and our kids loved feeding the koi fish! The only downside was stairs everywhere. With no map of handicap accessible routes. My parents couldn't come down to the pool, and my grandson is in a wheelchair. Since we came in late, we should have asked the office the very next day instead of wondering around looking for accessibility.

Wow. Three letters. 100% accurate. From the minute we walked into the unit, until we discovered the upstairs balcony, we were smiling ear to ear. Then we opened the windows and the lucious noises of the Pacific greeted us. This unit is a perfect basecamp for visiting the San Diego area. We were able to enjoy the beach (not even a 7m walk away) and all the ammenities at the complex itself, including a play room, hot tub and swimmiing pool. You can even feed the koi in the pond in the middle of the complex -- across from the waterfall! For this trip it was my nuclear family: two adults, an 8-year old and a 4-year old. They each had their own room, TV and bathroom. The kitchen was very well stocked! We lacked for nothing. The six-top dining table was great for us, too, as was the super comfortable couches. We didn't need for space at all. The laundry facilities were great with the app that you can download, making the trip down a few levels meaningful and quick. Definitely faster than doing laundry at home. Overall, it is quiet here. Everyone is delightful, with a mix of permanent and rental tenants (I assume) and while we knew people were around we had plenty of privacy. I cannot say enough about this place and were grateful to have stayed here for an entire week. Thank you!

This was a perfect place for a family of 4 with teenagers! Gorgeous views, beautiful property and tons to do both on and off the property!

Excellent communication and logistics. North Coast Village is always a win for our family. This unit is reasonable and sufficient however it is in need a some minor repairs and deferred maintenance. Nothing overly concerning but multiple annoyances that hinder the experience. Overall a positive experience for us.

Neither bathroom FSN worked, no shelf in upstairs shower for soap& shampoo, nor hooks or towel bars. Loved the decks.

The TV was small and those in the bedroom required paying fees to us. The kitchen desperately needs updating (the refrigerator leaked water, the dishwasher and stove are really old!) The beds were good and the bathrooms are ok although the exhaust fans didn’t work. I was able to get some glassware needed as well as a shower caddy and toaster. We love the location and amenities of the complex but we would never rent this unit again.

This was a great condo with lots of space for our family of 5 and my mother in law. The 2 story layout was perfect - we all felt like we had a lot of space and were separated enough. The location is close to the harbor and close to the beach. Walking distance for both. The host was easy to communicate with and took care of all our needs. Definitely recommend this property!

My family and I really enjoyed our 10-day stay in this unit at North Coast Village. The unit was clean and well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We liked this uni in particular as it afforded a beautiful view of the ocean and was quiet. The management team responded promptly to a minor maintenance request. Check in and check out was smooth and seamless. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful family vacay to the beach! We loved being right on the beach and that we didn’t have to drive anywhere extra. There was plenty of chairs, a sand wagon, etc for us and it was so nice not to have to bring so much from home. My only complaint and that we had no idea there wasn’t AC in the condo. I would’ve brought a portable had i known. Sleeping in the heat was uncomfortable

Our stay was fine. The property was in a decent location. Pretty easy access to parking, amenities, the beach, etc. We liked the upstairs balcony that faced the beach. However, after we checked out, we were notified (including pictures) that we had "stained" the bed clothes in one of the rooms and that we were charged a fee as a result. It was "stained" with Cheetos dust. We responded to the notification via email with the following explanation: That's Cheetos dust. After those sheets go through the wash, the Cheetos dust will be gone. I'm assuming you wash the bed clothes between reservations, so no harm done. If you're not washing them between reservations, that's disgusting. We have a child with a disability who loves Cheetos, so we're very familiar with Cheetos dust. Those are certainly not stained. But if you feel that you need to charge an additional fee to wash the bed clothes even though you're doing that anyway (I hope), I guess I don't have a lot of control over that. For the record, that's hardly damage. We have not received a response (from 2 weeks ago) nor did we receive a refund for the additional charge. I fear that they have not responded because they don't wash the sheets on a regular basis (ew) and aren't sure how to respond to someone getting Cheetos dust on their sheets. #NotImpressed #ClearlyTheirFirstRodeo That experience really left a bad taste in our mouths as a result.

The location cannot be beat - 5 min walk to the beach, easily walkable to many restaurants, a pool and exercise facility as well. The unit did not have air conditioning but we managed fine with the windows and sliding doors providing a breeze. We definitely plan to return!

The unit was spacious and the top balcony had a view. Unfortunately when we arrived, 2 of the chairs were already broken so our family of four couldn't enjoy the top balcony (with the view) together. There were dirty dishes in the drawer and cupboard, which made me question the overall cleanliness. Hair on the toilet. Some things were rusty/old/worn and should be replaced. My young daughter loves going up and down stairs which was one of the main reasons I chose this unit. This unit is not close to the pool and it is somewhat of a maze getting to the pool. We have stayed at NCV before and enjoy the pool, jucuzzi and landscaping. Beach towels and beach stuff were available and convenient. For the price I had a little higher expectation.
