The house was drenched in diesel smell throughout the entire stay. Apparently there was a snowmobile issue with diesel spill in the attached garage, so there was a strong smell due to that as it is. To make things worse, home's centralized humidifier system is in the garage and was taking in all that diesel fumes and blowing it back into the house, so every room was drenched in that smell making everyone nauseas. There was no steam coming out of the humidifier, so not even sure if the "humidifying" feature was even working. There were other things either broken or just not working well - fridge (freezer working, vegetable/fruit shelves working, but fridge's main area and top shelves were not cooling at all), outdoor grill (the flame wouldn't go up even on a full gas tank), leaking toilet (the owner sent a plumber to fix it, but still), gas fireplace (remote missing, manual start had issues). Also, despite costly cleaning fee, owners request guests to take out the trash bags not to garage or shed (which would have been common and acceptable), but put in own cars and drive to a trash facility (why can't that be part of the cleaning service?). The house is conveniently located near both Loon and Cannon mountains, has plenty of rooms and bedrooms, a very nice layout, great views...... it could have been just perfect, I just wish owners kept up with the up-keep and had some courtesy of heads up for guests when there is such an intense deasel smell.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend, and we had an excellent time. We had 8 adults and 4 young kids from 1-5 years old, and they had a blast. Lots of extra toys in one of the rooms which the kids greatly appreciated. The house was clean, and the rooms had very comfy beds. Kitchen and living room were more than enough room for us to eat and hang out. We all had a great time, and would book here again.

We stayed at this property with 3 other families and it was perfect! There was plenty of room to spread out, but also rooms large enough to hang out together. The kids gravitated toward the basement while the adults enjoyed the main level spaces (the deck is great!) The kitchen was well appointed and the pantry was stocked with plenty of paper products. The bedrooms were very comfortable too. Most of all for me, the was home was extremely clean! The host is very responsive as well. We felt right at home and would love to come again!

Beautiful and clean property, well located close to Loon Mountain and Woodstock restaurants. Plenty of room for everyone in our family, including our 2 young grandchildren. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

This was the third straight summer we've stayed in the "Mountain House" (as our family affectionately refers to it) and each trip has been great. This home is absolutely beautiful and wonderfully spacious. Even with 4 couples and 6 kids running around, it never feels crowded. The location is amazing as well, just minutes from the heart of Lincoln and North Woodstock. It's also just up the road from the Woodstock Family Park, a great place to swim or tube in the river. I can't recommend this home enough!

We are a family of 13, with young kids all the way up to grandparents. Needless to say it is difficult to find one place that can accommodate everyone comfortably. This home hit the mark, with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms there were no issues sleeping comfortably. We did encounter an issue in the first four days that we arrived, the a/c unfortunately was not operating. Usually, in the White Mountains of NH, this is not an issue, but we happened to be visiting on one of the hottest weeks this year, so far. Communication with the owner was quick, and she got right to work trying to get someone out to fix the issue, being later on Saturday when we arrived, it was difficult to get anyone out until the beginning of the week. We all toughed it out for a few uncomfortable days, but by Tuesday it was taken care of and the rest of the week was unbelievably relaxing. The open floor plan and basement entertainment room allowed us to have the family fun that we were all looking for, as well as, great family dinners. We would definitely rent this home again in years to come.

Beautiful home and very communicative owner who helped with our questions promptly. Very spacious- lots of fun amenities- game room, pools table, arcade games, large couches for large groups to gather together to hang out or watch movies. Spacious kitchen with plenty of seating for the group to eat together. There are plenty of simple amenities that are helpful when traveling - soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry and dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper… those little things go a long way so you don’t have to run to a store for those simple necessities.

This house is a great location to explore everything near Lincoln and to take the Kancamagus highway. Only a little way to stores and restaurants but you still feel out in the mountains. We had 10 adults ages 26-80 and we all fit just fine. We could have slept three more easily. The house is spacious and was very clean.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay here. A perfect place to relax after hiking and zip lining. Beautiful views, tons of games, and plenty of space to spread out.

The home was fantastic. We’ll equipped kitchen and large dining area for the entire family. The children were very happy with the downstairs space and game area. I did have a few questions and was not able to reach owner. I would recommend leaving a contact number at the home in the binder. The homes location was great. Very close to the center of town , the ice castles and skiing. Overall it is a fantastic home and we would definitely return.

The cabin was wonderful- very clean and had everything we needed. However we were unable to lock the property and the host did not respond to messages in the days leading up to our stay. That said, I would certainly come back.

From the location of the home we were able to explore in all directions & keep the kids occupied. So easy to walk downtown to restaurants & shops. The pictures don’t do the home justice, it is gorgeous!

We loved everything about this house! Location was perfect. Everything we wanted to do was so convenient to drive to. The house itself was amazing! So much room for our large group. The kids spread out down stairs while the adults spent our time relaxing by the fire in the main room and outside on the spacious deck. We hope to make this an annual trip!

We knew the house would be amazing and it still exceeded our expectations when we got there. The house was very clean and the Owner does a great job of responding to any questions. I also liked the fact that she kept a book near the entrance explaining any questions we may have had like how to set up the TV. The book also had steps for checking out. The house is only about a 15 minute drive to Franconia Notch Park which was great for when we did our hike. The house also has a great view towards the mountains that can be seen specifically from the main bedroom balcony.

This house was the perfect setting for our annual family gathering in the White Mountains! The home is just as beautiful in person as in the photos, and the views are amazing, not to mention the proximity to Franconia Notch and the surrounding attractions. There was so much space for everyone to spread out and for the children to roam, and more than enough bedrooms for our group of four couples and 6 young children. We loved trying out the different retro arcade games and the pool table downstairs, and Nicole was a great host and very responsive. We couldn't have been happier!

This property was awesome for all 13 of us. 5 min from everything we wanted to do. Plenty of room for everyone and a gorgeous deck for hanging out.

Our stay at this property was amazing! The house was beautiful and so clean! I cant express enough how great Nicole and the property were! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and would love to rent again in the future! There is so much to do at the house and in the surrounding towns so you will never be bored!

A friend's weekend away! A large, beautiful party for a good group of friends to enjoy time together and have room to themselves. Great contact with manager and just fabulous experience. Would recommend renting this place! The only thing I could say is to make sure to have a 4 wheeler as it gets icy in the Winter months and the area where the house is- is slightly hilly and hard with a non 4 wheel drive! Thanks for letting us stay. Would stay again.

This house is absolutely beautiful!! Celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday with a house full of friends and family. TONS of space for entertaining and a giant kitchen fully equipped with every tool you need. Super kid friendly with tons of toys. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly clean and comfortable. Would absolutely rent again!

Spent a long weekend with 12 close friends and this place was absolutely perfect. Really big, open floor plan which helped us spread out. Kitchen was definitely one of the best equipped I've ever had at a rental and came in handy throughout the entire weekend. Downstairs area with the pool table, bar, and extra tv was amazing and I can't say enough about the yard space, the view, corn hole, the list goes on! Definitely stay here and you'll have a great balance between feeling secluded in the woods, but less than a mile from everything you need. We'll definitely stay again!

This is an amazing house. Great for a large group and families. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. The location is great, right at the south end of Franconia Notch, so very easy to get to and a short drive from lots of things to do, restaurants, etc.
