We enjoyed staying at Kintinha for a week in September. The house is generally well set up with everything you need and was very clean and welcoming. We found just two downsides. The kitchen is tiny and the two ring hob just made cooking a meal at home difficult (unfortunately there is no shelter to enable barbecue on a breezy day) We also regretted that there were no bars, restaurants etc within walking distance. But lots of choice of Good restaurants in Ericeira Near by beaches were super and the pool at the house was Very good.

A great experience from start to finish. The house is lovely and spacious, neat and clean. The area is quiet and the pool is sparkling clean and not overlooked. It was a pleasure to meet Itene, her recommendations for places to eat we’re spot on and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth a return trip!

Dit huis heeft alles. Het ligt perfect. Je kunt vanuit hier van alles ondernemen maar ook relaxen bij het huis wat heel rustig ligt. Er zijn fietsen maar een auto is zeker ook handig en aan te raden. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Irene is aanspreekpunt en zij is super! Ook als je je reis nog aan het voorbereiden bent. Wij willen zeker nog een keer terug en zullen het huis zeker ook bij vrienden en familie aanraden. Wij hadden een super vakantie met dit huis als uitvalsbasis.

The property is absolutely fantastic, communication was very fast and easy. Situated only 10 minutes drive in the hills this was the perfect spot for our holiday. The pool and house are stunning and equipped with all you need. There was some building noise for some days next door, however we found a good solution for all of us. Will be back!

As fabulous as it looks in the photos, I can assure you real life is better! The villa is perfect, clean, spacious and set in a beautifully peaceful location. We are very familiar with the surrounding area but for those who aren't, Irene, your host is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! A car is a good idea if you like to explore as many places to visit definitely require it. Unlike the Algarve, this is a beautiful area largely unspoilt with many areas not catering for tourists specifically. This is exactly why we love this area but for those seeking that kind of entertainment, you will definitely have to travel to find it! If you are looking for stunning scenery, friendly locals, pretty rustic towns with lovely places to eat and are in need of a totally relaxing holiday then this is the place for you! The villa is the perfect bade with a lovely pool and an interior that feels just like home. Thank-you Irene, we loved it!

In a typically English fashion, the first bonus for us when booking this villa was finding out that Irene was English. This made all communication smooth and easy, she is a lovely lady who couldn't have been more helpful. The villa itself is beautiful, very modern, stunning views. fantastic amenities (the pool was well used) and the location is terrific, so easy to get everywhere and lovely beaches only a short drive away. We like to try different places when we go away, but we are definitely going to stay here again, the location and views alone are worth it. We would definitely recommend.

Excellent villa with all the things you need during your holiday. Lots of outside space with various spots to sit and relax and of course a lovely pool. The villa is located in a remote location in the middle of nature, so a (rental)car is advisable, but then it is just 7 minutes to the town Ericeira and 35 minutes to Lissabon. We had a great stay and really enjoyed our week of 'City tripping' in combination with relaxing at the villa. A big "Thank You!" to Irene who made sure we had all the things we needed.

I rented this house for my 40th birthday. Everything was great and we had a great time. 5 min to village center and really quiet area. I strongly recommend. Thank you Irene for all support

Superb property, excellent pool and gardens and easy access to local beaches and villages (Car a must have). There are so many "visits" you can make from this location you need to choose carefully and plan them otherwise the days just "disappear" and blend one into the next.....very relaxing!!

The house is lovely and in a nice area , a few minutes drive from Ericeira center and all amenities . The house is fully Ikea furnished but it is easy and tasteful. Good beds and well equipped kitchen. We had a small device problem and the nice owner solved it within the day. BUT , for Northern people like us, living outside is the most important in summer and here, it was quite difficult. For a 2400 / week rental, there were no proper sunbeds . Only 2 very fragile black beachbeds and 2 very heavy ones. We expected to spend time at the swimming pool but there is no terrace down there and the grass is full of tiny insects... so we had mostly to skip swimming and tanning there... we hope the owner will take our remarks in consideration... But to be honest , all the rest was OK. No airco but 2 big fans in the bedrooms and plenty of space to put your clothes...

Fantastic villa and views. Loved the various terraces and kids loved the pool. Everything you could need was provided and a quick response for questions. Irene was extremely helpful and even went to the supermarket so we had food after a flight delay meant shops would be closed. She also suggested restaurants and they were all great. Taxis from the villa to the beautiful village were £15 both ways so dad could have a beer with his dinner!We recommend this villa for all!

We simply had a wonderful time at this special place. We traveled with three kids who loved this place very much. You right in the nature with a stunning view. But furthermore you are at the sea or a supermarket within no time. Thanks to the very nice host we always felt welcome. Thank you for makin our holidays special!

Although not isolated there was nothing intrusive about the neighboring properties. Lots of outside space and various spots to sit and relax. The owner and agent were lovely and most attentive and quick to address any needs- we were the first people to use the villa so a couple of suggestions we had were quickly taken up. We couldn't have been more pleased with the villa and hope to return. The area worked well for us- definitely need a car- but we enjoyed the level of development and the scenery is beautiful. So many beaches to chose from and lots of variety.
