Our family had so much fun staying in this sweet house that is a VERY short walk to one of our favorite beaches. It’s exactly as described and as it appears in the pictures—super cute and comfy. We had plenty of room to spread out and to enjoy some family time together. Communication with management was phenomenal. Quick, friendly responses to all our questions. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect location for our needs. We had three families which allowed each family their own bedroom and bathroom. It was nice, cleaned and ready for us to enjoy. The beach was across the street which is great as you don't have to worry about parking. Would recommend and we're already talking about coming back.

This was a nice house. Kitchen was well stocked. Comfy beds. The neighborhood felt safe. The house had a great layout. Only negative I can have, was the tree in the upstairs bedroom scrapes the window and the kids had trouble sleeping because of the noise. Overall, we had a nice time. Thank you.

Even though the weather was unseasonably cold, we had such a lovely week! The property was even better than anticipated. The house was spotless. The beach proximity, hot tub and gym were a highlight. Kathy was so good with correspondence. We would love to go back again!

Family trip
Great house, perfect space for 2 families with kids. Great location to ocean and pool. Gated community with parking for 2. Fridge, and microwave had to be cleaned out prior to use. Kathy is very responsive and helpful. We will definitely look to book again

Everyone (ages 6 - 72) had a wonderful week at the Flip Flop Inn. The cottage met all of our needs. Great location. Short walk to the beach. Lovely pool. Can’t wait to return!

Quick beach trip
Our stay in the Flip Flop Inn was amazing!! We were looking for a place near the beach and other friends visiting town. The cottage was beautiful. We each had our own space and a well appointed kitchen for breakfast together. We were right at the beach so that was nice too. We should have booked an extra day. Wonderful!
This was the second time we stayed at the Flip Flop Inn/house. Kathie, the host, is excellent to work with. The house is steps from the beautiful beach and the pool is very nice.
When looking for a place to stay, cleanliness is most important to me and upon arriving, we found the house to be very clean.
One upgrade from our precious stay was a bigger TV in the living room.
Would recommend staying at this house.

Best vacation ever!
This was our best family vacation to date. The location was perfect, the house was amazing, the pool was phenomenal and the beach was so close and convenient! Kathy is an outstanding host and more responsive than any host we have ever booked with! We highly recommend this house for families or would be great for adult friend groups!

Great location! Wonderful for family!
We had a wonderful time at this house located in a small gated community just across the street from the most beautiful white sand beach. Late October stay but had mostly good weather - Quick walk to the beach with chairs & umbrella set up included. Everyone loved the pool area too. Our family of 7 -(4 adults and 3 kids) - had lots of space. Loved that there were 2 king bedrooms! 3 large baths made it easy for everyone to get ready. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools we needed if we wanted to have a meal without going out. Also have to mention how nice it was to have the balconies and porch area. Several great restaurants nearby - we especially loved Pompano Joe’s but our favorite was Boshamps Seafood and Oyster House. Very family friendly and awesome food. Checking in and out was easy and Kathy was a great host always there if I had a question. We made so many great memories we will definitely be back for another stay.

Great house!
The house was clean overall and very welcoming. More than enough of room for our family of five. Great location and the beach service is the best! (One of the main reasons we booked this house!). The best part is that Kathy is AMAZING to communicate with. I would not hesitate to stay at this house again!

Spacious house steps from the beach!
Our stay was wonderful. This is a spacious 3 bedroom in a small gated community. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach with sugar white sands. The pool with a hot tub was so relaxing. The kitchen was great for cooking, and the open layout of the living and dining room gave plenty of space to eat and relax. The wrap around balcony was a neat bonus. The host, Kathy, was very attentive and responsive. Everything was clean, and checking in and out was a breeze. It was a comfortable stay for 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 dogs. Would definitely stay here again. If it’s available, book it! You won’t regret it.

Lovely house, needs a bit of attention
The house was lovely and they updated it since last year when we stayed. It’s a good amount of space, is comfortable, and in a great location. We had issues with bugs while we were there and cleanliness and let the property manager know.

Most rentals are not as spacious as they look in the pictures. This home was more than I expected. There were 9 of us and there was more than enough room. It’s just a walk through the gated community, in the shade, to the beach. When coming back in a group, we will definitely try to get this rental again.

The condo was very nice and I would stay again. Beach Retreat cottage community was very nice. It's quiet and private. Very short walk to a beautiful beach and a short drive to everything else you need.

Stress free booking and use experience for short family vacation stay. We were a little disappointed with not adequate consumable supplies like toilet papers, cleaning supplies, and trash bags. Starter supplies = 1 or 2 days only.

Perfect
The entire process- booking, checking in, and checkout - was easy. The property is perfect for our family. We are looking forward to come back next year. We stayed at many places over the last 14 years in Destin but our favorite spot always the Beach Cottage Retreat.
