We enjoyed our family holiday with 17 people in Martins great house. The house is great and the kitchen is a dream for cooking. But our favorite was the pizza house with the original fire wood oven. Most of the time we spent t the big pool or the tennis court. We really loved our stay and wish to come back.

The property was as described and had real wow factor. There was plenty of space for 20 work colleagues to relax and have fun as well as host some workshops. The staff who look after the property were very attentive and made the whole stay very easy and enjoyable.

We stayed there with friends for a week and really enjoyed it. The villa is very spacious and provides a great kitchen with 1 table for 20 people and very good cooking equipment - 8 gas stoves and 2 electrical ovens, 2 large espresso machines and a microwave make it really easy to cook for a big party. The woodfired pizza oven is nice, but needs quite some time to get really hot to get a crispy pizza. The pool is really big - unfortunately the solar heating was not sufficient in beginning October with low night temperatures and moderate (ca. 22°C) day temperature - the water was too cold to enjoy swimming.

3 families stayed at the villa for 3 weeks and we absolutely loved it. There was plenty of room to spread out and have space to yourself. The large kitchen was fully equipped with all sorts of tools for a chef. The wood burning pizza oven made some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The kids enjoyed the pool, playing tennis and watching movies in the TV room. The pool is heated via solar panels, so it was still quite cold but still nice enough to swim on very warm days. The grocery store is only 5-10 mins away so it makes it easy to go on quick grocery runs. There are shutters on every window, which is nice for keeping the rooms dark when sleeping in mornings. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. Although I gave it 5 stars, there were a few things I wanted to share. The clothes drier was broken and unusable for the entire first week we were there and ended up having to be replaced. Having said that, the response time from the house manager was very quick, it just took time to order a new drier. One of the toilets also broke and took a few days to be repaired due to the weekend. I would also caution you to bring your own DVD’s because a lot of the ones at the house are scratched and unreadable. Overall it was a fabulous, unforgettable visit. We loved our stay and would return!

It is a perfect location to visit Barolo vineyards, driving distance to Cinque Terre and soccer stadium in Turin. House lovely and large. Pool is wonderful for all. Great outdoor seating and especially using the authentic pizza oven!!!! Hired Paola as a chef...superb food and Eleanora was especially helpful for any of our questions. Recommend it highlyJudy

Went with easter with a group to this dream home. The descriptions were fantastic yet the reality exceeded my expectations. A very spacious atmospheric house situated on a hill. A huge kitchen with four refrigerators and two dishwashers. Fantastic to cook with many people together. A sitting room with a huge fireplace, guarded by two stone lions. The house is very well equipped, luxurious bathrooms, computer room, washing machines, piano, a well stocked bookcase etcetera. The house is surrounded by a giant garden and a few terraces. And then I didn’t mention yet the tennis court, swimmingpool and a little house to make pizza’s in. The setting is superb with open views on hills and the surroundings are beautiful with lots of variety of animals and flowers. Unfortunately, our visit lasted only three days but I hope to come back soon!

We spent Easter at the villa in Cairo Montenotte in Italy. The fabulous weather, the surroundings, the food and wine and good company made this a memorable occasion.

We had an amazing time at Il Pavone reale. We where five families that stayed in the house for one week. Everything exceeded our expectations, the kids loved the pool, we played tennis every morning, the kitchen provided us with everything you could possible need. The surroundings was amazing. We had our wedding cermony at the villa, we set the table by the pool and had the cermony in the garden. The chef, Paolo, made an amazing dinner which everybody loved. We are so happy that we booked Martins beautiful villa, we would highly recommend it. best regards Hanna & Peter Sweden

Fourteen members of my family (adults and children) spent two weeks this past summer in this outstanding farm home. There was more room than we needed, both inside and outside. The fresh mountain air and breezes were ideal for spending time at the pool, tennis court, ping pong table, and leisurely strolls around the property. We all had a fabulous time. We even had a chef come in to cook for us several times. Dealing with the owner's rep was easy and a pleasure. I'd recommend this home for larger groups who want still to have personal privacy.
