We stay for 7 days. It was great time with weather. Nice area and restaurants around.

Check in was great. The manager met us at the front of building. We got our car checked in for parking pass then he walked us to office to finish checking in. He took us to the condo and showed us around and made sure we could work the lock on the door to get in. The condo was clean and updated. The bed was VERY comfortable! There were beach chairs and umbrella for us to use. I would definitely stay here again. We like the area and this was our second stay at this complex, just different unit. 5 stars!

Spacious room with a great view. Only negative was parking for 2 nights was $75 and the rental key was an additional $30.

We loved the unit we stayed in. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. We were not happy with the overall noise from other people staying at the Tides. The car noise is pretty loud.

Very clean. Enjoyed the balcony for reading. A few things missing in the kitchen like spatula, kitchen cloths, garbage bags, etc. Nice beach. Pool was not heated for many days but overall we had a very nice vacation. Great for two.

We enjoyed the location and easy beach access, but we were disappointed that needed repairs had not been made. One of the features we were looking forward to was the balcony. Past reviews had indicated issues with the balcony door, but we thought we could deal with it so that we could sit out and enjoy the view of the beach. When we arrived, we were told that the door was completely broken and the balcony was not usable. In fact, the door was completely off the track and wouldn't even close. There was a screwdriver being used to wedge under the door to try to level it, but there was still 1/2" gap at the top so we heard the wind whistling all week. It's sad that this repair was ignored for so long and has been allowed to deteriorate to this point. Other updates and repairs are also needed. For example, the circuit in the bathroom tripped every time we tried to use a hair dryer and the mattress pad was so old it had cracks.

Unit has great ocean view, location is great - walkable to Publix, Panera, Starbucks, Walmart, CVS, etc. Bed very comfy, lots of hot water, perfect beach supplies and good communication with owner. Check-in process is extremely frustrating but that is the building's issue not the owner. The kitchen needs some more basic cooking/ baking supplies and this was discussed with the owner. Also discussed with the owner was the need to replace one broken beach chair and the balcony sliding door is extremely hard to open - needs to be fixed. I would highly recommend this place!

I came down with some friends who also stayed at the Tides. The place was clean and had great views! The sunset was incredible and there was a view of the ocean and intercoastal. The condo had everything you need. They are strict with the rules but that is a good thing. Especially at the pool. If you were not a resident or renting they would make you leave. The ocean was warm and beautiful and steps from the room! The description of the condo was accurate. The only thing that I would say could be fixed was the door to the balcony. But it really isn't that big of a deal. I very much enjoyed my stay!

Location is between south beach and the broad-walk, not walking distance but short Uber ride. The host provided beach chairs with an umbrella. For us it was perfect to just hang on the beach! There is a little cafe in the building you can get any necessities, coffee and snacks. We will be back!

My experience was nice overall. The only think was that I did not like the plastic mattress protector. Only when I took it off I could sleep well. The building also was super busy.

We loved our stay at this condo. The beach is right behind the building . It was relaxing and calming .

The property was as advertised and also a great view from the balcony! Beach not having public access is a huge plus and the boardwalk is a very short drive away. Will definitely be back.

Great condo with everything you need to relax - nice and safe environment. Will rent again if I come to this area.

My husband and I recently traveled to Hollywood Beach, FL to attend a software conference at that was inadvertently cancelled due to the recent Coronavirus pandemic. We decided to use VRBO to stay in a nearby condo for 8 days/ nights to enjoy some vacation time as well vs. paying the higher price of the hotel where the conference was to be held. We are very happy that we made this decision as we had a fabulous time in Nelson's lovely condo in The Tides. Because our conference was cancelled, we ended up spending even more time at the condo and around the condo property, and we truly had a wonderful experience. Nelson's condo was well appointed with all the day-to-day items you'd need including kitchen cookware/ gadgets (including fun margarita glasses!), plenty of linens, blankets, nice beach chairs/ umbrella, 2 flat-screen TVs (with plenty of channels and Tivo), pretty/ tasteful decor, and a beautiful view of the beach and intracoastal waterway from the balcony. The unit was also very clean and cozy...it became our home away from home! As for the property amenities, we also enjoyed the fitness center and the pool at The Tides during our stay. Both were clean and well maintained. The pool chairs were taken by 11a.m. each day, so we learned that you have to get outside early to get a pool chair! However, you can also take one of the beach chairs in the condo to the pool area to sit if the pool chairs are all gone by the time you wake up and make it down there! :-) We ordered dinner from the Enjoy Cafe in the adjacent Tides building one evening and it was pretty good food as well. It's very convenient that they offer delivery service to your condo as well as the pool area! Additionally, Nelson's property manager was extremely responsive and kind. He gave us a comprehensive tour/ overview of the condo and property amenities upon our arrival. Lastly, Nelson was very helpful in coordinating our check-in/ check-out process with our flight times. We really appreciated his flexibility with the times as well as his prompt responses to all of our questions regarding the condo before and during our stay. He's an excellent host!! In summary, we became very attached to this Tides condo and definitely plan to stay here again in the future! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel to the Hollywood, FL area who loves the beach! (It's also not far to the Boardwalk area to which we walked almost every day!) Thanks for a great stay! :)
