Was expecting a luxury van but we got a lodge next to the lake🤗it was a wonderful surprise

Lots of activities for all ages. Reasonably priced accommodation. Friendly staff. kids entertainment for our toddler was amazing. The staff in the big tent were fantastic with small kids. High-quality entertainment with meet and greet with entertainers for the kids. Lots of photos taken. When we had an issue, they came and resolved it quickly or advised if they couldn't fix it the same day. The site was very clean, and security patrolled the site day and night. Saving grace was the hot tub. It was a good escape for the kids and family.
Many of the activities and food on site can be costly if with a family. Water sports and swimming was hard to book, as many slots only had availabllity for 1 or 2 people at a time. Or it was not available on the day we wanted. The accommodation has some issues. One of the windows was smashed, and they did send someone around to look at it, but it couldn't be fixed while we were there. Also, rusty towel rail in the bathroom which they would have already known about. We booked the superior, but it didn't really feel superior. It did smell badly when we entered the mobile home. Mostly of wet carpet, possibly due to it having a hot tub. Or having pets in from before. We specifically wanted one pet free due to allergies. Previous residents may have soaked the carpets and the sofa seats who knows. They also had wet marks all over them. So do pack some nice smelling candles or fabric spray with you just in case. Next time we would probably go for the more expensive newer accommodation.

Lovely area, spacious and tidy caravan we slept in.
Swimming pool and other facilities to use with the family were quite small so it was a little hard to keep the kids constantly occupied and entertained.

Couldn't book in til 4pm and had to be out of caravan by 10am on last day....not 4 days.
Location of caravan was noisy and next to roads . Shower was unusable due to scolding temperature. Everything closed too early. Wouldn't recommend.

A wonderful well deserved break for us with our dog. Unsure what to expect as this was our first visit but was pleasantly suprised by the overall experience, the site staff could not be more helpful or welcoming.
We would recommend staying here for all and we will be coming back again for a longer visit in the near future.

Clean comfortable but hot tub was not hot and too much chlorine
Hot tub Luke warm and to much chlorine The Entertainment area only one open not inviting as was cold no heat .Because of a private function we were told off a complimentary voucher for the pub restaurant near would of been welcoming

We checked in and went to one of the caravans we were supposed to stay in. It was absolutely filthy it had faeces all over the pull out bed. The heater was unsafe to use. Had mould in the bathroom. We had to wait 2 hours for someone to come and view it, even tho we took pictures. To then wait further for them to go back to guest services to get us moved. So, we never actually got settled until around half 8. We checked in at 4. A lot of time was wasted. Especially since check out is early. We stayed for 4 nights but only really got 3 days to look around.

The site was well-kept and neat and tidy. The caravan was clean and well-presented. Children would have a whale of a time here with lots of activities for them.
The following items were missing: access to the lakes; lake views; coffee table; satellite TV; vacuum cleaner; grill pan; kitchen sink plug or bowl; kitchen towel; dish-drying cloth. The bathroom extractor fan did not work. The TV-style false fire in the lounge did not work. The TV was too small for the backboard so it looked untidy. The caravan was quite literally the furthest possible place away from any amenities that it could be. Prior to the holiday, I asked repeatedly for confirmation that my dog was paid for and welcome, but never got a reply. The photo of the lake (the nearest I could get to it) shows the lake facilities at the far side from me (other lake pic is zoomed in) so you can judge how far to walk everything was.

Was good for an older model that was pet friendly.
Wasn’t to happy where it was situated. Only view was the side of another mobile home. Some sort of utility building ? Would have expected better for the amount paid.

Nothing! It was filthy on arrival and had to be cleaned “again” when we checked in

Caravan, old and tired needed a proper clean. Had mould under the window. Staff did clean it off when told. No cleaning equipment in caravan, such as sweeping brush etc. WiFi not working. Overall disappointing accommodation

Entertainment was good. Activities were good but had to book even swimming.
Booked for 14 people 2 caravan. Arrived and checked in to have 2 caravan 2 minutes walk apart from each other for a family with kids in one booking, when I requested to have caravan close together they didn't have any available.
Inside the caravan carpet was very dirty and smelly, sofa was the same. Brushed the carpet which was full of dog fur as it was a dog friendly caravan. Sheets had stain on it. Spare quilt for sofa bed was smelly.
Door handles were broken. Shower door broken. Would never book there again.
Photos on booking.com misleading as it doesn't look like what I've booked.

Caravan was not clean, bed was broken and despite reporting it, they never came to fix it.
No starter pack for washing up etc, reported that as well.
4 disabled parking spaces for a park of that size is not sufficient.

The amusements was full so didn’t get chance to attend I feel for a park of the size things need to be made bigger to fit needs ..
I had paid over £1000 for a caravan with a hot tub …
The first 2 days the hot tub was broken and after somebody finally came to fix the problem they had advised me that the wrong key pad had been fitted so the buttons was soo back to front …
Big top entertainment tent is very small for the size of the park capacity of the park so me and my family did not get chance to join in with the fun as all tables where taken up and standing space .. as we have a 6 month old we couldn’t get in with the pram and enjoy the fun and be in a safe space ..
All together we holiday park is a great place but things need planning better for the capacity ..
We couldn’t join in any of the fun swimming was fully booked all week (spaces should be saved for late bookings/arrivals) and the tent was way too small

Great place to visit especially if you have younger kids. Looks like there is alot to keep them entained. Lots of water sports. If you have bikes bring them or electric scooters as the park is big
We felt that you couldn't use facilities as they are already booked up before you arrive on holiday, so book well in advance. Jet skiing would be hard to get on as the owners of caravans get on before general public.

It was very disappointing as we paid extra money for the hot tub we travelled 10 hours in the car with three kids and hot tub broken when we arrived we reported this someone came

In morning reported it again to be told it had been checked and nothing wrong with it to later use the hot tub and it didn’t work again hardly got to use the hot tub the whole

I didnt like that I had to wait two hrs for caravan that had a faulty grill door, it took 20mins to fix b4 finally getting in. it then came ajar again one evening..but ground maintenance sorted..

We had such a great time, spent 4 nights as my birthday getaway. They have a vast range of activities, loved laser tag and archery so much!
The weather was so lovely so we got to enjoy the outdoor pool as well.
Couldn’t fault anything.
Thanks to Aiden especially for our “private” archery session with our son! 😊
No washing machine but you can do your laundry on premises for a few pounds.
The knives were so blunt haha
