Views were great as well as location but the beds are uncomfortable and pillows are old. Lots of sound restrictions and signs telling us to walk quietly was odd. Wind coming through almost all exterior doors/windows.

Overall, I would not book this place again. The check-in process is ridiculous. It would be so easy to find and get to, but the host makes the directions way more complex and confusing. It starts with an address that's not the actual location. The real location is above the Bar Red And White cafe. Next, don't rent if you have kids. The first night there, the angry old man from downstairs pounded on our door, demanding we keep the kids from running around. He was red and fuming. I thought he was going to have a heart attack! On a side note, he tried to misdirect us when we first got there and told us we had the wrong building, which sent us on a little detour. It would be a nice location for a couple or friends looking to share a place. Next, there was no heat for the first two nights. They tried to fix it once, but then the next night, it wasn't working again. We froze our butts off, this after trying to find the place in the cold rain. Here's a tip: Make sure the heat works before your guests show up. Lastly, the place just isn't as nice as the photos. It feels way older and creaky; not the same furniture in the living room, and there are also three flights of stairs. The showers suck and aren't very clean. To be honest, the only thing it had going for it was the view, and it is an amazing view! Despite all the other stuff, the view makes the place almost worth the money.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. The views were amazing, the area charming and the prooo pool entry management company was very responsive to our questions and concerns. I would mention the the traffic noise is VERY loud. If you are prepared for that it will not bother you, however, it took us by surprise. But, dispute that, it was a lovely stay. The local restaurants are very good, close and friendly.

Visited Lake Como for a working vacation, and could not be happier with our stay. A beautiful home in an ideal location. Easy check in. They even left a gift box with wine and snacks. Will definitely reach out next time we visit!

Had a wonderful time at this venue. Location can’t be beat. Gorgeous lake view and wonderful restaurants right downstairs. Good contact with property manager. A clogged sink was taken care of promptly. Stairs are a definite issue with people with mobility difficulties. Furniture has been replaced and very nice.

Nice place midway up Lake Como - right on the water and near the ferry stop to get across the lake to see other areas. We had 7 in our group and it was ver comfortable for that number of people. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great quaint location.

Stayed at the property for a couple of days, the furniture was in all in poor condition, covered in sheets because the leather was peeling off. Home is located on top floor requiring several flights of stairs (no elevator available) not ideal when traveling with young children or with multiple piece of luggage.

Pros: Firstly, if your main aim is to have a 180 degree view of Lake Como, this is the place, The location and amenities were excellent. The street below is lined with restaurants, a bottle shop, chemist and a Macelleria/Salumeria where we purchased our cold meats, milk, bread etc. Tremezzo doesn't have the huge numbers of travellers found in Bellaggio so it has a great relaxed feel. The ferry terminal is across the street and you can watch boats come and go all day if you wish. Cons; The lounge in the front of the apartment is in need of replacement. We had to cover it with sheets to stop our clothes and the floor getting covered with little bits of flaking white vinyl. Once on, the views from the couch are fantastic. A window in the middle bedroom is cracked and requires replacement, it had sticky tape holding it together and the cold night air came in. The cleaning prior to our entry was not very thorough. Small food scraps on the table cloth, bedside tables dusty, but towels all supplied, and plenty of them, bathrooms and kitchen very good. One of our biggest disappointments is that the black chandelier over the dining table, which we had planned to have a photo with whilst dining, only had 3 functioning globes out of 12! Also, not all bedside table lamps functioning. Maybe the cleaners should be checking all this before they lock up. Lastly, being on the main road, there is little noise insulation from the windows/french doors. The traffic reduced during the night, but is very audible throughout. So if you are a light sleeper this may not be suitable for you. One query is the address supplied for the property did not seem to match where our taxi drivers drop off and pick up locations were. It was about 80 meters out both times, so a little confusing, we asked the locals to help us find it via the picture on the listing. On departure, one of our group walked back up to where we were dropped off and surely enough our van was waiting. Hope that helps anyone with their searching.

Loved staying in Tremezzo because it’s walking distance to a bunch of places to eat and the villa Carlota! Also super easy to just walk down and get on a ferry to the Bellagio. However, most of the blankets used had stains all over them unfortunately. The view was crazy and could basically be seen from everywhere so that made the stay!

Gorgeous view, just as described. We booked for wedding guests at our wedding at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, perfect walking distance and lots of restaurants.

We loved this property and location for our first visit to amazing Lago Di Como. The view is the big star of the show here as the apartment is right on the water in Tremezzo. The beds were also SUEPR comfy which is a big deal for me. :)

This unit is situated in the perfect location with gorgeous views, easy access to restaurants and shops and the ferry. However, the unit is quite dated and could use some new & updated furniture, rugs, etc.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Magnificent views of the Lake. Bit noisy at night with motorcycles buzzing through village. Only negative thing was sofas need to be replaced- worn out.

The location of this apartment was perfect. There were several restaurants and bars right right underneath, and the ferry station was a 2 minute walk. The views were outstanding, and the apartment was spacious. The furniture was in pretty poor shape. There were towels over the couch as the fake leather was peeling extensively. There was a broken window pane in the hallway that is a safety hazard (the glass appears on the brink of falling out). I understand it was unseasonably hot while we were there. The A/C is limited to the living room and the bedrooms were quite stuffy even with fans. If you're looking for a lot of space to sprawl out with a convenient location & beautiful views, but don't care that the furniture is in need of an upgrade, I highly recommend this VRBO. Also, you have to be comfortable taking about 4 flights of stairs to access the apartment in case anyone has mobility issues.

The location and views are beautiful: a few minutes walk from the ferry and Helvetia restaurant just below apt, as well as places to get coffee and pastries, and a pharmacy. The two bedrooms with larger beds are fine. The main bath is nice, with standard small European shower stall. The material covering the living room couch and den couch is falling apart and flecks of vinyl get everywhere even though the owners scattered a few towels over the couches. The living room carpet is stained and filthy. The backs of all the dining room chairs are broken. Sheet for the pullout couch had a massive rip in the middle and was unusable. Some windows had cracks, partial panes or entire panes missing. FYI, the AC is in the living room only and fans are provided in the bedrooms but the cords aren’t long enough to place the fans in the window to draw in cooler night air. We were fully prepared for an old building with quirks and charm, especially given the modest price, but the lack of cleaning and maintenance is appalling.

We loved the location and apartment! The views were stunning from the balconies, and the apartment was quiet and Italian charming!

One minor downside is the third floor….you certainly get your steps in 😀!

Prachtig appartement, ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien op een mooie locatie am het Como meer. De ferry vertrekt voor de deur, meerdere bars en goede ijssalon naast de deur. Minpunten: Het appartement was niet goed schoon bij aankomst, er lag veel stof en spinnenwebben in de hal. Daarnaast waren 2 eetkamer stoelen kapot en liet de bekleding van de bank los.

Great stay here with amazing views of the water. When windows are open there’s a lot if street /car noise but we disn’t mind this & like to see the activity of the town & ferries coming /going to other Lake towns. Good location for easy dining and super close to the ferry that we used to go to many little lake towns. Overall great experience. Could have used American directions for using appliances since it was nice to have a dishwasher & washing machine.
