The rental experience was top notch from beginning to end. The check in instructions were very clear and the entire process was so smooth and efficient and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The property description was spot on, in fact, the pictures don't do it justice. The unit and the surrounding property were immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely try to stay at Bluewater Retreat again, it was the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and harbor, easy to get in and out of, and the reserved parking was fantastic. We primarily stayed on the beach all day and went to dinner in the evening. We ate at LTH and the food and drinks were very good, we also ate at the Lighthouse which was overpriced and the food was reminiscent of a run down Red Lobster, the views were beautiful, but the food was mediocre at best. We also ate at Ryes & Grind and it was DELICIOUS!

When you step in the condo you immediately are immersed with the blissful beach theme. You know you have stepped into a beach vacation escape. Everything you need. Beautiful views with the quite zen sounds of waves.Always rent from Makemyvacation. They are amazing.

Very cute unit with amazing views. So nice to be on the beach and not have to deal with parking. It would be very helpful if the kitchen had Tupperware. We made sandwiches and sliced up fruit for the beach day but there was no way to transport it to the beach. It would have been helpful to save leftovers as well to eat the next day. Other then that detail, everything was perfect.

The property was very nice and well appointed. I give this review because it obviously want properly cleaned by the cleaners. I found spiders in my pillowcase after one bit me in the middle of the night and refused to sleep in that bed the rest of our stay. I told the HOA and they were going to send pest control. The location you can't beat. Cute decor in condo. The plumbing needs to be addressed in neighboring units, as there is a loud screeching sound when they shower.

The balcony was my favorite place to sit in the morning, drink coffee, read a good book, admire the ocean and the surfers. The condo was very spacious, clean, comfortable beds and a great place to relax with teens in between all the activities. Would definitely stay here again, the only difficulty we had was regulating the temp in the downstairs shower.

Good directions. Try to check in before dark. Had good directions. Great ocean view. Slept with windows open . Lots to do on pier , places to eat, sea lions close by, we went to safari zoo , midway, and sea world. 35- 45 min from those places. We got to spend quality time with our marine!

It was perfect for what we needed. The upstairs bed is a little hard and the two downstairs are crazy soft. This is just an FYI to people renting. It was everything we needed for our long soccer week.

We had a wonderful stay in Oceanside for the weekend. This condo is wonderful with incredible views. One of things I appreciated the most was the security of the property as a whole. Home has very comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful ocean views from every window and two patio decks . Very clean, comfortable and spacious condo. This condo is decorated beautifully and has everything you need for a vacation. Definitely want to return with my family again .

Location, property and Condo were amazing. Place was clean and the views of the ocean from the upper balcony were priceless. Easy to walk into town for food and shopping and to the pier or other direction to the harbor. Garage parking was very tight in a truck and would be the same for a large vehicle but other options are available so not a big deal unless you want covered parking. Can't wait to visit again.

The beds need to be updated, nothing but foam on old mattress or pull out murphy bed not comfortable, no pull out in the couch as advertised when we booked, thankfully Property Manager took care of blow up bed for family who were supposed to stay in couch fold out.

Overall our stay was great! The views were even better than they look in pictures. The décor was very cute and everything was clean. It was plenty of space for two adults and 3 teens. The property was lush and very well kept - it looked like a pacific resort. I felt very safe letting my teen girls walk around the property. It was very close to the restaurants at the Harbor.
The couple of improvements I would suggest: the listing does not state that there is no air conditioning. The first I saw this was in the contract after I booked through VRBO. It worked out fine, but you need to leave the patio doors open at night to keep it from getting a little warm. The second is the frying pans are very warped so it was hard to cook anything evenly in them. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend!

this property is absolutely beautiful. Everything about it was great, very clean and well organized. We had everything that we needed to make this day comfortable. If we needed anything, the property management was very attentive. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice complex, secure and clean

An annual extended weekend with our son and daughter-in-law was a success once again thanks to our stay at Bluewater Retreat. The condo was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We prepared dinner two nights and ate out one. Due to the stormy weather we were not able to enjoy the beach but couldn’t have asked for a better indoor get away. The gym at NCV is clean and there is plenty of equipment to enjoy. The hot tub/spa was perfect on a drizzly evening. Aaron, the property manager was responsive to our inquiries and sent Patrol out to light the pilot light in the fireplace right away. Unfortunately, the mechanism was not cooperative so we didn’t have a fire. This was not a problem, but will hopefully be repaired for the next guest. All in all, a wonderful three day weekend!

Had an amazing stay at this property, the view on the balcony and upper deck were awesome! The size was perfect for a family of 4. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was a little small but utensils were complete. One of the burners had issues on our first day but maintenance came next day, we were able to use the other burners….not a deal breaker for us. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again.

Spent a week here over thanksgiving with our family of 5. Condo was clean & nicely decorated. Great location with easy access to beach. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. Easy on/off hwy. kitchen had everything we needed to serve Thanksgiving feast! Upper deck is great spot to watch surf in the morning & sunsets in the evenings.

The property and location was excellent, having no AC during a heat wave made it impossible to be inside the unit and sleep at night. Also, it was very loud due to our unit being close to the pool and tons of loud kids. Would never stay there again

This unit was great and had everything we needed. The little gold course for kids was awesome. Walking distance to the beach was superb. It is about 17 mins away from Legoland, which isn’t far at all. Downstairs has the double beds and upstairs had one bed. Bring your own detergent as they don’t supply any. I believe only a couple of units have AC, so it does get really stuffy. There are ceiling fans and with the windows open, we were able to get some reprieve from the heat.We’d stay here again for sure.

Fantastic retreat in great location!!!
This was our first time on the West Coast. The unit was absolutely beautifully updated and decorated. It was meticulously clean and had everything we needed.
The views, the sounds of the ocean, the location to the pool, putting greens, beach was perfect. Being able to walk just about anywhere in town was wonderful. I would highly recommend this unit for a peaceful, tranquil retreat yet so close to beach life. It was perfect!

Great location, views and amenities
My husband and I stayed with another couple and had plenty of room at the condo. The two decks offered great ocean views for watching surfers in the morning and sunset at night. You can also see the pool from the deck which is nice to scope out open chairs before heading down. We walked to breakfast and dinner every day. It is no more than a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Great place
We loved our time here. Great location right in the beach. Loved having the pools and hot tub as well. Everything was clean and stocked. Beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed having the two patios and watching the surfers and relaxing in the sun.

Amazing view and Condo
I have stayed at North Coast Village for years. My parents lived there when our kids were young. This property is defiantly a do over. It was beautifully decorated, well furnished, and such an amazing view. The only suggestion would be more towels, and we never had access to our second parking slot and the guard shack people were not helpful. But overall, this is a wonderful vacation condo and would highly recommend it and when we come back we hope it will be available.

Beautiful views, perfect for families
This condo was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the two balconies with ocean views with views to the garden and swimming pool. We appreciated the location on the edge of town for less traffic but still an easy walk for dinner and shopping. Condo was furnished just right for our needs. The only disappointment for our group was the beds. The main bedroom had a cabinet/fold out bed and the mattress was not comfortable, you could feel the bed frame underneath. The second bedroom mattresses were very thick foam, while comfortable, they were too hot for our teenagers to sleeping well. This may not be an issue for others just thought I’d share. Regardless, we would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.
