Location, owner, lively town

Weak wifi. Not easy to plan next steps of trip.

Nothing. It was very basic0

Corfu is a real party town and this property is right in the heart of it. Just a few steps in either direction and you are in the middle of the happy crowd. Still, the property is in a tiny street and is surprisingly quiet. 4 large rooms, 1 large kitchen, 1 tiny bathroom.

Very narrow staircase to the 3rd floor (avoid large suitcases). Tiny shower, shower curtain is even tinier. If you come by car, forget about parking nearby in the afternoon or evening. Even the dispatcher is unable to help. Maybe park somewhere around the ferry port, then take a cab (not so easy) or walk 10-15 minutes (with luggage?). The whole big apartment has one (1) AC. So you can cool the living room, but not the 3 bedrooms - in August, it is a real problem. We were provided with 3 fans, 1 of which was in good working order, 1 was too noisy, 1 was out of order.

The location is superb, close to all the sights and restaurants. Spyros is amazingly helpful and looked after us very well.

The shower curtain kept sticking to us and it was difficult to shower properly wetting the bathroom.

Location and house space

An air condition unit in the bedroom would be a good idea

The location was great and the bedrooms were spacious

The air con was only in the main room which meant the bedrooms were very warm on an evening. It was too noisy to open the windows due to the church bells ringing every hour.

Great location to discover the old Town. Appartement is well equipped and air conditioning works fine. Very quiet place especially during the night. Our arrival was very late (1 am) and Tania was kindly waiting for us.

The shower is small

The apartment is very central, within easy walking distance to all major attractions in the old city. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom small but practical. It was great to have a washing machine to catch up on laundry. There’s a lovely view from the balcony. The host met us on arrival, and provided some basics including water, chocolate and lovely fresh grapes.

Quite a few steps which was challenging with luggage, but don’t let this deter you!
