A good place for families and friends. Comfortable rooms and a great caretaker. At first it was impossible and we never got to speak to the contact, phone calls went unanswered and we got assigned a wrong room. The ending was good.

The independent hired chefs are very good 10/10 recommend
KINDLY KINDLY AVOID. The property is poorly managed with very little going for it in terms of utensils, furniture and facilities. You sleep on the floor, no hangers in the wardrobe, no WiFi, the living room furniture are mattresses. Other than that even sitting outside you have to strain on plastic chairs. Even basics like plates we had to serve food on saucers. And the infestation with roaches🥲
Really a raw deal with the property riding on the reputation of other villas to justify its price. You will notice no photos of the common areas in the property listing.

One of the best places I have visited. It has an amazing wildlife and scenery. It was one trip I will remember for a long time and the national Park was the magical. Waking up to a beautiful scenery of wild animals seemed like a dream...

The house is spacious and modern. The chef who was recommended did a fantastic job the entire time
The care taker was very helpful. He recommended a reliable rider to get items from Chandarana at Cedar mall and some to wash the car
Power went out twice on two different days for extended period of time into the night. I'd suggest they invest in a generator or hybrid solar power inverter
When is was dark due to power outage large ants would come out of know where, all over the dining table and area. Some fumigation is needed regularly
Some of the overhead fans were loose and very noisy. They need repairs.This will help with the heat/ventilation challenge

This was my third time at Mt Kenya Wildlife Estate and this villa was in the best location! We woke up to seeing the wildlife grazing, whilst lying in bed! House was clean and staff were polite.
A bit more effort in terms of decor, furnishings and amenities such as Wifi would really make this property shine!

The location is perfect, views from the master room are great. Being able to see wild animals roaming around is also a good experience
The furnishing of the villa is the least interesting thing. The host can furnish the villa better to make it comfortable and to justify the value of the rate of the villa

Great environment to relax, the host was easily accessible and always communicated on time. The house is spacious and had all the utensils. The interaction of the house with nature is amazing!

The villa was very accommodating. The location of the house was also spot on with the views of the Olpejeta and its wildlife.
Having Wi-Fi would have helped a lot.

Nothing much, can’t be compared to the two houses I have stayed in before
We had to wait till 8 pm for the house to be cleaned despite prior notice and payment. 😒

The house was amazing! Very clean and serene area for a gateway out of town. Definitely not my first and last time, I will go back.

Swimming pool should be declared 2 km from hse, firewood for fire place and charcoal for barbecue are billed separately and exorbitantly at it.
