this house was very nice but not as clean as other states it's a beautiful home but it looks more like a college dorm very nice location very nice house just think little outdated lots of stuff to do like I said there was cigarettes everywhere outside of course a weird doll in the house that creeped us out enough space for everybody but it reminded me when I was younger in college other than that the location and the structure of the house is beautiful love the absolutely loved it

Not only was the house clean and spacious, the owner was kind and checked up with us. Lots of fishing and other fun activities to do around the village and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend!

This was our second time staying and we'll definitely be back again! The owner is great and easy to communicate. This house is easily becoming our home away from home!

1st time here.beds were making noise all beds and pillows had covers.importante to me. we took sheets and towels.kitchen had all you need but we took our own stuff.oven the was a little dirty.the curtain tk back door feel off. if I was the owner I probably put a sign in the bath upstairs.i smack my head on ceiling thenfeel down on the baseboard heater and scratch my back. it was raining all day.so we play with games that they had.use fireplace wich works perfectly. overall needs same upgrades for use but us also less expensive than major in the area.

This property had everything our little group needed for a little getaway. It was easy to find our way around to all the sightseeing and shopping areas. Everything was clean and in good working order. I loved that firewood was included! There were plenty of dishes, cleaning supplies, and games to use! Jim gave us very clear instructions on how to turn things on and off and was easy to contact when we had questions.

Had a nice stay. It was a little tight with 4 kids and 4 adults, but we enjoyed out time there

We were looking for a chalet among the colorful leaves. This was it! Warm fire in the fireplace. Quiet time for reading and knitting.

Nice cabin and area . Very family friendly. Children had a great time. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Was nice having several lakes and beaches to choose from with nice playground area.

It was a nice little place everything was great except the beds and sofa were very uncomfortable but the place was cute cozy and clean we would defiantly stay again thank you Jim for letting us stay in your cute little place .

My brother has 3 children and I have 2 young ones myself so it's amazing to find a house where each family has a level and a bathroom. The house has extras which was nice (games, books, fishing poles etc). It is two blocks from one of the lakes. Plus is it's dog friendly as our dog is deaf and blind so it is hard to place her in another's care.We don't get to see each other often so we had a great week together! Thank you

The community this rental is in has a lot to offer! The people are very polite and it’s peaceful. Beaches, tennis courts, bocce ball, events and much more are all at your disposal there. It’s about 10 minutes to the nearest gas station or market and 20 minutes from Kalahari which is where our events were taking place for the week. Jim was always quick to respond whenever I had questions. House was a little dirty. He has a cleaning service but they aren’t that great in my opinion. I noticed Jim so it wouldn’t affect me financially like his check in instructions state. I had no problem cleaning up some things that bothered me though and we had a great stay! We were there for 8 nights. Beds are a bit uncomfortable but we dealt with it. You need to bring sheets and towels, also not an issue but I only brought shower and beach towels- I did not think about hand towels or wash cloths which are not there either and I had to buy some. You need to provide your own toiletries as well- again, not an issue but there was no toilet paper there at all so we had to go to the store the second we got there. Overall great stay! I just rely on reviews to keep me informed and remind me of things to bring and wanted my review to be helpful to others as well! Great family vacation (kids ages 9, 14, 17)!

The rental was in a quiet neighborhood, with many of the comforts of home. Just what we needed for a weekend away. Communication with the owner was above expectations and instructions for use of everything in the house made staying a breeze. The rental was in good condition, and we all felt welcome, including our dogs. Deer walked right across the property. Although we didn't take advantage of them, the rental came with six bracelets for using the beaches and other amenities. We would definitely consider revisiting Locust Lake in the future.
