A beautiful house in a lovely surrounding. Everything are well-organised, clean and clearly communicated. The breakfast basket, wine and a well stocked pantry are just icing on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really appreciate the tranquil surroundings. Thank you Chris and Judi for everything.

Decided on this location as we wanted a get away from the city. The home was perfectly set up and we were able to spend most of the time at the property enjoying beautiful views and the sensational verandah! It seems that every need was thought of for the visit. I’d go again in a heartbeat.

The place itself is off the scale in its beauty, and the surroundings, but the hospitality was also next level, not to mention the attention to detail in all aspects of the host have provided to us. Thank you so much for this magical stay, and all you have done for us. We know why this place is booked out solid!!!

This house was beyond any of our expectations. We were so impressed from start to finish and didn’t want to leave! So relaxing, serene and majestic. Everything was so well thought of and all our needs were met. All those extra touches of breakfast goods and chocolates on the bed made the stay so special. We had a fantastic stay at The Evening Star. It was a beautiful house in a lovely setting. The house is very well designed with beautiful bathrooms and decks. The only feedback we have is that the gardener came 2 days in a row to do quite noisy maintenance such as mowing and leaf blowing. This did impact our peace and privacy somewhat. Apart from that very happy. Had a lovely break away!

Lovely accommodation with lots of space; indoors and outdoors. Well presented and thought out. Loved the walk to the creek. It had everything we needed and more.

After originally booking The Evening Star in 2019 and experiencing two September lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, we finally managed to make the trip up to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary two years overdue! The Evening Star was even better than we had imagined. The hosts have thought of everything you might need, and each room is incredibly spacious and well planned. The kitchen had ample bench space to unpack all your yummy foods you may have picked up along the way (and don't forget the wines!) and the open plan living offered plenty of space, looking out into the gorgeous Wandi views. The main bedroom was lovely and it opened to a massive en-suite which was bigger than expected. The spare bedroom and 'main' bathroom were also spacious, and although we didn't use those spaces, we know it would be great to bring our kids to when they're a bit older. The whole property was extremely well kept, and the housekeeper Gail did a fantastic job to ensure our stay was memorable and most importantly luxurious. The only two things that could be better are the TV remote which only worked at certain distances and pointing in certain directions, and the chair in the study nook was on a bit of an angle, but that certainly wouldn't stop us from coming again in a few years!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time away at this beautiful house. It was exactly the restful and relaxing stay we needed.

The most wonderful trip! The property is pristine and the views are breathtaking. We were also greeted with two kangaroos on our last morning drinking coffee by the fire pit. Truly magical.

Great accommodation option not too far from the middle of Bright but far enough for some privacy! The house is amazing and so well set out, with anything and everything supplied with clear instructions on how to use everything - and the breakfast package was a highlight! One of our favourite places to stay in Victoria and we will definitely look to come back!

Great location and house lay out everything was readily available

Wonderful accommodation just up the road from the Bright township. The hosts thought of everything. We especially loved the outdoor fire, complimentary breakfast and the spa bath. The views and ambience were magnificent and we would love to stay again next year perhaps in a different season. Have already recommended to friends and family. Thanks Chris & Judy for a brilliant break from the real world.

The house is beautiful, and made for a very enjoyable stay. For those who love to cook, the kitchen is really well equipped and the living spaces and bathrooms are roomy. the open fireplace was wonderful. We hadn’t been to Bright for many years. We’ll be coming back. All in all, five stars.

This property is well maintained and beautifully decorated. It is actually even better than in the photos. Every little detail has been thought of. We can’t wait to go back!

Our stay was very relaxing. The evening star was very comfortable with fabulous views. We had friends over for a quiet meal one night which was very enjoyable. The wine, bread, milk and nuts provided were a lovely touch We would have appreciated a washing machine and iron although we did make do.

Everything was perfect, well organised, modern and comfortable. We are coming back.

The house is beautifully appointed with amazing attention to detail. The kitchen has everything you need and even has items that you would usually have to bring from home. The outside deck is large and appealing with amazing views of the mountains, valley and river. I would highly recommended this property, perfect for a couple or two.

A home away from home with not a single detail missed. This gorgeous place had everything you can think of. Such a light, bright and clean home and we will definitely be back. Can’t recommend enough.
