The host was helpful. Free parking was included in the booking and they let us extend for few extra hours .

Location is farther than explained in the description. However still walkable to the centre. Bedrooms are in the basement and that leads to a bit of humidity and slight stink from time to time.

Comfort, clean, location

Bedroom was a bit cold. This is the only issue that we may want owner to fix.

It’s a very nice, modern apartment, well constructed and well appointed. The location is very good, being close to the main attractions.

There was no iron or ironing board. There were no scatter cushions on the sofa for back support - I had to roll up the throw to use as a cushion. The washing machine was on a perpetual wash cycle - we had to intervene manually to make it progress to rinse & spin. There was no manual for the microwave/oven combo. Lastly, the bedding was of a poor standard. Only one bedroom was made up whereas we were intending to use both. The main bed had a plastic protector that crackled, a polyester fitted sheet which kept slipping off and two very flat pillows. All the bedding and towels smelled very strongly of laundry detergent.

We were unaware that the access to the main bedroom was through the other room. There was a musty smell downstairs which made the space feel uncleaned although the bedlinen were changed. As the weather was very warm, the apartment felt uncomfortable to spend some time in. Especially downstairs where very little natural light is coming in. There is no air conditioning but fans that did make some difference. The beds have plastic cover sheets that feel uncomfortable to sleep on. The fridge had not been cleaned and there was hair in the kitchen sink.

It supposed to be two doble beds but one of those was a sofa bed and it was very uncomfortable and noisy... the rooms are in a basement so not very airy.

The location . The house is renovated recently.

The heating controls on the radiators were locked to low Temperature in the lower level . The instructions provided didn’t help.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, especially the living room area & couch on the top floor. The kitchen was nice. The house was clean and the heating was good in the bedroom. We liked the little decorative touches like a little Christmas tree in the living room!

We never received any instructions on how to access the property -- maybe a message never came through from Booking.com? -- so we had some trouble accessing the lockbox and had to contact the owner. There was no wifi (that we knew about anyway) and the property was missing key basics like shampoo, body wash, and a bath mat. Milk for coffee would have been nice, but there were a few teabags provided so we had tea in the morning instead. The shower also leaked and we needed extra towels.
