Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year at the Lookout for the 4th of July and this experience wasn't great! Our A/C was broken so they provided portable units for some of the spaces, but not all. They hooked one of the units up incorrectly so it just blew hot air in a bedroom and didn't fix it for THREE days despite MANY phone calls. The units were VERY bulky and VERY loud!!! This isn't an overly roomy home so they were very cumbersome and quite disruptive. The Lookout gave us a nominal discount for our stay but in our eyes it wasn't nearly enough for the numerous phone calls we had to make, the noise level, the amount of technicians in and out of the home for the first four days of our 6 day stay!
Overall REALLY disappointed with management as I left a message on the general manager's voicemail, never called me back. Left THREE messages with the office for the manager to call me back, never did. Not at ALL the type of customer service you'd expect when paying $800-1000 a night. All in all....service doesn't match the price point!!!!
It is a cute home, well decorated, however lacking closet/storage space. There is a pantry off the kitchen but it is locked so the only space to store a weeks worth of food is on the counter. The closets in the upstairs bedroom are these teeny cubby-like units. My husband is 6'8" so he literally had to bend in half to retrieve anything from the closet.
All in all, we left very disappointed with our experience.
Lookout management you can do better!!!!

We hopped around from front porch to back porch, the dining room to the living room - enjoying every room all the details that were put into them to make them so esthetically and physically pleasing. This had everything we needed and more. The grassy strip in front of the house is a lovely touch and the morning sun lights upon the front porch for a morning dose of vitamin D with your coffee. The full bathrooms attached to each bedroom were perfect for three couples. Thanks for sharing this amazing space.

Unfortunately it's the second year in a row where a fire hung in the air. We enjoy the Relax Inn every year - it's a great house. Construction across the way did put a damper on things - they cut siding at 6 am and construction dust made the front of the house unusable during the day (but owners came on the weekend so this may have been a last minute push). We loved the changes to the beach area - several layers of beach chairs with umbrellas were added this year so people could spread out. We enjoyed the regular text communications from the Lookout as they had more organized activities this year. Overall we really enjoy the lookout in Chelan as a family of four getaway.

The house was lovely with plenty of room for the six of us. Besides the pools and beach, the best part was sitting on the front porch in the evening while our grandsons played on the grass and made friends with the other kids and dogs. We would definitely do this again.

*On the day of checkout, we thought our reservation was one day longer. It was truly our mistake when I checked the paperwork. The cleaning ladies came at 1100 to clean the house and were very professional about breaking the news that it was time for us to depart and new guests were coming in 5 hours. They waited patiently for us to pack our things over the next hour - it was a bit awkward for us as we scrambled to leave, but they were very understanding & kind. We love the Relax Inn but were disappointed by the lack of guests following Covid rules (no masks or distancing on buggy to and down by the beach). I felt badly for the workers. Also when fires popped up outside of town and scary smoke and ash engulfed the Lookout we asked staff for advice on getting local news for updates but mostly got shrugs. I understand they may be used to it but there really should be some communication plans to make guests feel safe. Our phones kept buzzing with emergency evacuation orders nearby but we had no idea how close or far those places were! We ended up packing up and heading home. It was very disappointing.

Our home was perfect and having the grass for our boys to play in was ideal. The pools being open was key and our boys swam everyday. Fishing, hiking, hot tubing and scootering around was a blast. We will be back and would plan to stay in same house. The staff was all so kind and cleanliness was noticed and we thank you!

The house itself is a perfect layout for teens and parents and the development is a great location with lots of activities for all. We even got to watch the fireworks in Chelan from the comfort of a front porch! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

There was not one detail forgotten in stocking and decorating this home, and it really was relaxing..even with children. We loved the decor, tv's in every room, the hot tub, the outdoor furniture, and just the feel of the home. Even though we were here before all of the lake and swimming festivities, we enjoyed the basketball and pickleball courts down by the water the most. It's a short and beautiful little hike down to them, and we had them all to ourselves :) We would definitely stay in this home again!

We loved all the amenities and The furnishings were very comfortable my only issue was with the media room the bunkbeds are very close to the wall not really conducive to adults sleeping in them.
