centrally located

The location of this property is excellent. You can walk to all the points of interest, it is silent during the nights. The equipment was adequate - there even was salt and pepper and olive oil. There was of course a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave oven, and a washing machine including washing powder. There were also the basic necessities like shampoo and shower gel, soap, and the like. The only thing missing was a means to heat water quickly (other than on the stove), but there is now an electric waterheater ;-)

Unfortunately, there was no balcony or terrace like advertised. Since this was one of our main criteria, this was a bit of a disappointment. There also isn't a door to the bedroom, so there is no way to retreat if you travel with a partner or more people - you will hear all the noises of the living room in the bedroom and vice versa.

This is probably one of the best locations to be in Bilbao. Just outside the more touristy part of town, Guggenheim and the river Nervio around the corner. What you get for being outside of the old center? Waaay better restaurants. The appartment itself is what you'd expect for this kind of money. Proper, large enough and a well equipped kitchen make it a good base for exploring this pretty authentic feeling city. Bonus: there is a bus stop from the Termibus from/to the airport just 3 minutes away.

An electric water cooker would be nice. Be aware that the apartment has no 'view'. (Didn't bother me, as I spend most of the time in the city) I really had to think about that. ;-)
