This was our first time in Raro and we consider ourselves rather lucky that we picked The Tree House and Roberta & Carlo as our hosts for our 2 weeks family holiday. The Tree House is easily accessible, about 5 min drive from the airport just in behind Tumunu's restaurant. The house is tucked away down a little lane, which is very quite. It's a 3 min walk down the lane to get to the beach. The property has everything we needed and plenty of space for the four of us. The garden is very private with plenty of space to sunbath or sit in the shade of mature trees. We had a rental car which was very handy to get around, but there are also a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. The Edgewater is next door, The Flying Turtle Cafe is across the road, and OTB (fine dining) is a 20 min walk down the beach. Carlo & Roberta are great hosts, always there to help without ever being intrusive. Their restaurant tips were great of us newbies, and we were lucky enough to have a proper Italian restaurant dinner on our deck one night, prepared by Carlo! Definitely ask him for his menu if you get the chance :) We'd happily stay again!

Thank you Carlo for a fantastic, quiet and peaceful stay at the Tree House Cottage. From the moment we arrived at the Airport you were the perfect host giving us a short tour on the way home to ensure we knew where everything was. Situated right next to the Edgewater Resort was absolutely perfect, as we had several meals there and even the snorkelling right there was spectacular! It made it very easy to also catch the bus. The cottage was clean and beautifully fitted out with such thoughtful additions supplied, like a rechargeable torch for our night walks home from the beach, an umbrella for sun or rain and the list goes on - everything we could have needed! The kitchen had everything you could need, even coffee making equipment. It was home away from home! We absolutely enjoyed the meal you and Roberta cooked for us - definitely the best “Italian Restaurant”! Thank you for making our trip the best we could have hoped for! Hidden amongst a big old tree with big balcony just a couple of minutes walk from the beach

What a great find - The Tree House is a perfect place to stay. 2 minute walk to beach and 2 resorts handy with a short walk along the beach. Carlo was the perfect host and the flat was sunny and private. In my opinion much better than a resort . We will be back.

House was exactly what we were after.

The property was ideally located for public bus service, grocery shops and had a short private walkway to the beach. This was ideal for the children as there were no roads to cross.

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for our family of 5. The location was amazing, with restaurants, grocery stores and car hire close by. It was also lovely and quiet there! The wee private walk way to the beautiful beach with great snorkelling was awesome! The house itself was very clean and tidy and just what we needed, with cooking facilities/equipment, washing facilities and 2 bathrooms was a bonus! We would happily stay here again!

Comfortable accommodation. Lovely outdoor spaces. Easy short walk to ocean and snorkeling.

Great value for money. Good snorkeling out front and being right next to the Edgewater resort, Tumunu and other restaurants was just great. The good value for money allowed us to extend our stay just that little bit longer and meant that we really got settled into what was a fantastic Raro experience. Highly recommended !.

Great location close to town.scooter hire just across the road.the shade of some lovely big trees.the one bedroom apartment has everything you need and is well appointed and is very comfortable.I enjoyed every minute of it:)
