Size and design of the room although not the one we booked

Room booked had a skyline view and a sofa bed, actual room had a view of the roof on the next door building and no sofa bed. Decided not to complain as were too tired and we realised on arrival that it would be a waste of time, no one at check in desk, no bell to ring. When someone did come we were asked to keep the do not disturb sign on the door as it would be helpful if we didn't ask for housekeeping, no record of our confirmation of late check out. We asked to check out a bit early to help housekeeping. Room had no supplies for coffee machine, and not a full complement of toiletries, called down to ask was told to go down to get them because no one available to bring them, numerous staff doing nothing when we went to get them. We did ask for housekeeping one day, the beds were made, sheets not changed and the room had not been vacuumed. The catalytic converter was stolen from our rental car (no fault of the hotel) when we asked if there was CCTV coverage was told by the manager that the camera for that area was behind a tree, he then said he had a contact at Halton Police and would call them. When we called they had no record of our problem. When the police came to talk to us they were told by one of the receptionists that they had never heard of us or the problem, so they went away and phoned us. The numerous times we walked through the lobby not one of the staff asked how we were. Needless to say we will not be staying at a Marriott ever again.
