The house is exactly as described. Ideally located 20 minutes from the airport and in the beautiful setting of Malahide. We stayed here with 6 friends for a golfing break. Thanks to our host for his help and advice in finding and booking excellent restaurants and bars with live music. I highly recommend this address. André

What a great property to use for the Dublin Marathon! Terry was able to accommodate all our needs as well as supplying us with dinner recommendations in Malahide. Great kitchen meant we could cook for all, entertain and prep for the race day, then come back cook again and celebrate success. Heartily recommend this listing, we will be back for sure!

House is a short ride from Dublin airport (great for those of us travelling to/from Ireland) and just on the outskirts of Malahide village center. Easy access to Dublin city center via bus or train. Beautiful accommodations, highly recommended!

There was twelve of us and we all stayed in the same house without being crowded. There were 6 rooms, each has an ensuite which was convenient however the shower pressure was not great and the water ran all through the ensuite which not good leaving water by the sink and toilet wet. It could be an accident waiting to happen. There was some mould in the shower area. The kitchen area had a huge table and quite well equipped. Terry left a basket of treats and fruits which was very thoughtful. Backyard was nice, however the warped table could be removed and the wooded chairs could be refinished, The location was nice - about a 45 minute walk into town, which was my exercise for the day. Terry was helpful when Hurricane Betty came through the area.

We as a family rent a large home every year somewhere different. We require at least 5 bedrooms. This home had everything we needed. Large spaces and a fully equipped kitchen. we only had breakfast there but there was everything needed to prepare a meal. Weather was good enough we could use outside for family games- plenty of space. Terry got us a reservation at a local eatery-The Greenery and it was excellent. Staff were amazing a good was stellar.

We stayed for 13 days. Some family came later & had to leave earlier but all enjoyed to beautiful home with a total of 10 of us. Everything was close by and so getting food was no problem at all. We even barbecued outdoors on the barbecue. The town of Malahide is so close that we went to town many times. Rooms were decorated beautifully and on the 3rd floor we all had a great time playing ping pong and table tennis. This house will spoil you and like my 6 yr old grand daughter said, "I didn't know we were staying in a castle!"

Had a fantastic stay at Terry’s over the weekend, can’t fault the house and the service. Everyone says Thankyou very much . Wish we could have done the week.

We had a lovely stay in this incredibly roomy and beautiful, private home! Our host was amazingly responsive any time we had a question. Also, the home is located in a beautiful suburb and lovely neighborhood. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Terry was fabulous in every way. The home is stunningly beautiful and met the needs of our 12 person group perfectly. Malahide is also a welcome respite from a busy Dublin day. Terry communicated with us all along the way, answered every question and made us feel so welcomed. He is a wonderful host and we would go back in a heartbeat.

We hired the house for a family reunion and it slept 10 perfectly all with our own ensuites. The reception rooms were huge and nicely decorated. The garden had lots of seating with outdoor sofas. Its a fabulous house - would definitely recommend especially if you are a group of friends or family looking for a large property to accommodate you all in family home rather than a hotel

Properly fabulous. Location superb. Terry the host was brilliant. 12 stayed in the property- more than enough space. 2 friends stayed in a hotel in Dublin. Terry managed to get a booking in a fabulous restaurant in Malahide for 14 people at 8pm on a Saturday night on a gig weekend for Springsteen in Dublin. Fantastic.

Our annual get together has been here for a couple of years now and it has all the space needed for a proper chill out and catch up. Impressive scale and impeccable decor, we love it here. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us again.

Terry’s house is amazing. It had so much space for our party of 8 and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was super easy to communicate with Terry and he helped us with some great dinner reservations. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great house in good shape nice beds Lacking in kitchen equipment. Cutting boards, spatulas, knives, mixing bowls etc. otherwise very nice. Great host.

Comfort, style and luxury, the property is well appointed and charming in close proximity to shopping, and restaurants near by quaint and charming seaside Malahide Village. Shops and restaurants were perfect and close daily attraction whilst Dublin was an easy drive half hour drive. Our host Terry was kind, knowledgeable and and very helpful for we, first time visitors to the stunningly beautiful Emerald Isle. Max our chef who was facilitated by Terry was fab! The property is luxurious and spacious. We had a large group and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed playing charades in the game room. The musical ones in the group enjoyed the playing the beautiful piano. We had a lovely barbeque in the spacious garden. You do not need to rent a car here if you intend to visit Dublin. Buses will take you to Dublin and the small exquisite town of Malahide. Terry is 'the host with the most'. He actually gave us a ride to Malahide the first night we arrived and he left a welcome basket of assorted goodies which were well received by our group ! Thank you Terry. He enjoyed this huge house and all of it’s bedrooms and bathrooms. Ages from 3-86 and everyone felt comfortable. Very convenient location. We loved all the sitting rooms and rose garden too. Really wish some of the features were fixed (theatre screen and pool table) as that was a big draw for our teenagers.

This house was absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful stay at Terry’s home and it exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for our group of 12 and the home was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We spent a good amount of our time in the lovely outdoor spaces. Terry was a wonderful host and gave us lots of great suggestions for what to do in Malahide. Travel to Dublin was easy enough with a bus stop at the top of the street. It was a bit difficult to get cabs and Ubers on the weekday mornings, but easy enough on the weekend days. Our stay at this gorgeous home was the icing on the cake for our trip of a lifetime to the amazing Emerald Isle!

The host Terry was incredibly kind and even provided us with snacks, fruits, and several groceries for the house upon arrival. He met us there to assist in check in and gave us a tour around. The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and quiet. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom and shower attached, which is nice when staying with a group. Lots of room in the house for activities or lounging. The house is a short 15-20 minute taxi to Dublin airport, 5-10 min taxi to the town center. Overall great stay 10 out of 10!

The property was great - had plenty of space for us and the best kitchen island we've ever seen. Terry was extremely friendly and helpful in providing us with advice on things to see and do, along with a few bits and pieces for us to snack on. We had a great time!

We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home. So much room to spread out. Having an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom was a plus. We would have loved to use outside area but it was not clean. Malahide is a lovely town. The quick bus ride to Dublin was perfect. Terry is a fabulous host. He was helpful and accommodating. We would definitely return to this VRBO!
