Enjoyed our stay

Small property that allows pets. Property would be fine for 2 people. Great location close to Kings. Unfortunately the parking in carport is terrible so park on the street, if you can get one. Big step down into property at front door so use the back door. Step down to toilet. I had taken elderly parents and Unfortunately this was not easy for them with parking or the big drops as mentioned above. After having to clean sand off the beds and coffee stains off seats we settled in ok. Plenty of ants to contend with and a couple of bugs at night (fly spray was provided). A parent had to be taken to hospital and the ambulance had a lot of problems getting parent out of property and could not get the ambulance down driveway. Overall not ideal for us but could see younger families enjoying short stays here.

Fantastic location, comfortable, clean, tidy. Great for doggies too.

Whilst we realised that the cottage was at the back of the property we did not realise that the only access was just wide enough to drive down and then we must reverse out. We travelled in a Ford Ranger as our smaller car was in for repair and we had to exit or enter the car outside of the carport making sure the mirrors were not extended. The cottage itself was lovely.

Very quiet and comfortable cottage. Loved we could bring our dog. Close to beach and restaurants. Very enjoyable 3 night stay.

BBQ is very dirty and dangerous. It needs to be thrown out and a new one purchased. The driveway is pretty hard to get in and out. Otherwise good

Perfect dog friendly place close to beach - has everything you need

Comfortable accommodation close to Kings Beach and pool. Great for our little dog. Worst thing was the car port which was tight especially a pain to reverse out to the street! Otherwise enjoyable stay..

It was our annual trip to caloundra enjoyed with family. The cousins were comfortable and it was so nice to be able to bring our dog. The location is awesome- so close to kings beach too- we were able to walk down the hill for an early morning swim.

You have provided us with a lovely little place. Quiet, central to shops and beach. Very clean with all amenities, eg wash and dryer, fully equip kitchen. I would love the chance to come again for a stopover!

Very nice quiet but close to everything

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty dog. Everything you could possibly need right at yiur finger tips. Easy clean surfaces for pets and comfortable beds snd couch for the humans. Short walks to the beach, parks and cafes! Highly recommend staying here. We will be back 🐾

The house was central to beaches, cafes etc or a quick drive to anywhere else. Very dog friendly and the owners were very helpful and courteous (especially when you lock yourself out) Would go back here again

A fantastic cottage very clean and very well stocked. A really nice weekend getaway with the dog.

We where very disappointed in our accommodation, Sleeps 6, in one bedroom has a double bunk bed and 2 single beds, very small room, no cupboards or set of draws for clothes, Main bedroom Queen bed. Only a 3 Seater sofa, and very small dinning table with 4 chairs. All furniture very Tired and old style. Doona covers on single beds and bunk beds stained and old. The cottage doesn't suite 6 people.

Welcoming and well equipped Awesome to be able to take our dog, Shelly beach is just the best and only a short walk Thank you for the bear treats left in the fridge Would recommend for your stay.

The cottage is close to Kings beach, cafes and restaurants and the on-leash dog beach. Will book again if we are in the area

Very clean cottage that had everything we needed. We were asked to provide our own sheets and towels which was fine. We also took our own doonas which was a good idea. Great secure back yard for our 2 small dogs. Excellent location for walking our dogs & had plenty of nearby cafes etc. Highly recommend this property.

We (hubby, dog and I) had a great weekend at Salty Dog Cottage. The place was very clean, the bed comfy and the location fantastic - just a short walk to a choice of beaches, including one that was dog friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fully fenced yard was great for the dog. We found good coffee and good pizza within a 5min walk. The owners were very helpful and responsive. Keen to come back!

This wonderful little house has everything you could need for a relaxing break, we could take our dogs, walk to get great coffee and sit at the beach, it was everything we needed.

Was a great spot for our stay with our fur kids!!! 5 min walk to dog beach and great when we have kelpies!!

I love staying at the Salty Dog Cottage. It has such an inviting and comfortable feel about it. My daughter and I, and the dogs all way have such a great time. It’s in a great location, which allows us to visit family that live in Caloundra. Hope to be back next year.

Very well supplied, organised, perfect size for two adults and two dogs. Would love to come back again.

Fully self contained kitchen and a lovely gift of 2 blocks of Cadbury chocolate...yum ❤️ Everything we could of needed was supplied and the bed was quite comfortable too. The only downside was that there were heaps of flies; worse when we were cooking anything. They were all over the grass when we arrived and despite using fly spray, they multiplied. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay and recommend Salty Dog Cottage 100%.

Great location. Kids had a great time. Close to beach and pool and water park. Would stay again!

We loved the location of the Salty Dog cottage, walked to the beach every day! The cottage was very nicely done, clean and a great home for us, our boys and our fur boys too. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!
