Enjoyed staying at the chalet. It was homey and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The location was good, kind of in the middle of the things we wanted to do. The hosts were available when we had questions. We had a very good vacation!

Cozy Chalet is a perfect description of the home we stayed in. The house was perfect for our needs. The chalet was clean, well-equipped and so peaceful. I found the front deck area to be a perfect spot for enjoying the peace and quiet and getting some reading in. My teenage boys enjoyed the lakes, fishing and playing basketball. I would love to visit in the fall when the leaves are changing - I cannot imagine how beautiful it would be especially at sunset over the lakes.

Relaxing and quiet which is what we wanted - no pressuer to be "on the go" every day. Enjoyed walks and being among nature. Peaceful. Thank you.

We stayed here for a family wedding in the area, instead of booking a hotel we were able to stay here for the same price. Only complaint was the broken couch facing the tv (nearly fall to the floor when sat on). Everything else worked exactly as expected. House was clean and the privacy was very nice. Other houses are nearby but it was very quiet neighborhood. We would certainly choose to stay again if we are in the area.

Many twin beds, perfect for kids/teens, especially with upstairs loft.
Vacation community, Locust Lake, provides security 24/7.

We enjoyed the stay very much. We walked around the lake with our dog, and went to Jack Frost and Big Boulder to ski every day! The fireplace is great!

The chalet was in a great location - situated in a lovely little community and just minutes away from good eateries and from Jack Frost! We were able to rest our bodies after a day of skiing, enjoy the games at the property, and enjoy a cozy weekend getaway. Wonderful property!

Looking for a place to stay that has a home feeling to it? This is the place for you. Lots of space, clean Access to many amenities. Great place for hiking watch for the bears l o l but real. Can't wait to come back thank you Graig and sue.

We had a delightful week! The easy walk to the lake was terrific, and the quiet of the adjacent game lands (no backyard neighbors!) was a definite bonus. The hosts' information book was extremely helpful for details of all kinds, and we appreciated having access to abundant family games and fuzzy blankets!

We’ve been coming to locust lake for over 30 years. This stay was amazing as usual. The house was just what we needed. Had everything we needed, clean, cozy, location was convenient to the lakes. We definitely will be coming back!

The place is generally very nice, quaint and cute. Definitely enough places to choose to sleep.
Although I can sleep eight, only one bathroom. Not the worst situation to have, especially if everything in the bathroom works well.
I think the bathroom needs to be upgraded by the owner, or at least repair to the point where everything functions really well. That was the main downside to the stay.
Otherwise everything else was “satisfactory”.

Probably the best Chalet we have rented. Clean, comfortable, beautiful, and has everything you need except what it clearly says to bring yourself. No surprises. If you are wondering about buying firewood, there is plenty of deadfall in the gamelands in the backyard. Just bring an axe or a saw if you know how to do it yourself. The host is awesome and super responsive with any questions. The tap water is filtered well water which is safe to drink and tastes great.

My experience was great renting this property, cabin looked exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. The only thing we needed were our bedsheets and pillows. While on our stay we had 4 deer out in the woods laying down, later on in the day those same 4 deer actually got pretty close to us while on the deck which was very cool being up close and personal with the wildlife. We will definitely be back!

The photos made this place appear way better than it was. Not such a great area either but that is our fault. To be power washed on the outside would have been nice! Felt more like a cheap campground. A vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Chalet.
The location was perfect and the interior was cozy, clean and updated.
The kids loved the spiral staircase to their loft. There was room for them to play while the adults socialized below.
Our only disappointment was Mother Nature. We had hoped to go ice skating on the lake as well as ski and sled on the community hill. Perhaps we'll book again next year in February.

We loved staying here! The chalet is stocked well with plenty of cookware in the kitchen, games in the living room, and cozy blankets! We enjoyed time by the fireplace watching the snow fall. Loved how Sue and Craig decorated for Christmas. Working at a church, Christmas week is pretty chaotic, so my husband and I like to celebrate our Christmas before with a getaway to the Poconos. The Christmas tree, garland, and stockings made it feel like home! We’d love to stay again.

Be aware of a last minute, multi-page email which casually mentions that bed sheets, towels, bath soaps, shampoo, etc are not provided. No small task when sleeping 8.

The rental experience was very pleasant. The house was perfect for my husband, daughter and I. And we were so happy to be able to bring the family dog.

The chalet and property are just as you see online. My daughter in law is disabled and it was handicapped accessible for her needs. It was clean quiet and loaded with all our kitchen needs and then some. We would highly recommend this place. Lots to do in the area or just hang on the porch.

We had a very relaxing week hiking, going for walks in the neighborhood, and taking our dog swimming at the Pine Lake boat ramp. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed to make a variety of meals. We all are talking about our next Poconos visit!

Nice property with a great location. Close to a main road but secluded all at the same time. Roomy comfortable cabin. Nice community. No air conditioning which was not an issue for us since it got cool at night with the trees and lovely breezes. Fishing was a tad disappointing for my son but not a deal breaker. We definitely return.
