Really love the location of this property. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, shops, etc. And the trail that goes all the way around Summerland, provided in the Information book, was so nice. Great way to see the whole town. I didn't bring my bike on this trip but will when I come back. So many cyclists roll through here and I understand why. Roads are nice, rolling hills, and smooth. Nearby trails for hiking and easy to get to neighboring towns of Santa Barbara and Ventura, if you are looking for even more to do. There is some noise from the freeway, especially right now with work that's being done on this stretch of highway, but host has a noise machine that allowed me to sleep quite well and drown most of that out. I brought my dog with me and was pleased with all the places I could take her. Summerland Cafe was expecially accommodating. Best part of the day is late afternoon, sitting on the balcony, looking at the ocean, with a glass of Summerland wine.

I wish they could provide some kind of device too at least fry egg for breakfast or so on.Noise from freeway at night was not pleasent.Overall was ok.

My wife and I stayed at Budda for 2 nights. Owner/Operator D'Arcy is wonderful, friendly, and thoughtful by stocking this gem with everything that a home away from home will need. The property is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I do wish if this property is 100 plus yards higher, I think the view would be even better and less noisy from the highway traffic. Although if you close the windows and door, you don't hear the traffic. Overall, this is a very nice property.

Not the hosts fault but it was really noisy! Just be sure and turn the air on . They also have a be noise cancelling machine . I thought that was very thoughtful. In order to keep water in the tub they had a weird set of shower curtains set up which I didn’t like. It wasn’t possible to take a bath? Anyway a fun area to explore and a cute place to stay!

This property is as listed and then some!! It is well stocked, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Short drive to Montecito -use the frontage road, no need for the 101. If you have a dog with you, use the self-serve dog wash at the park and come home with clean doggie!! The hosts are very accommodating and helpful if you are looking for something or somewhere to go.

Just as described - spotless, comfy, with nice extra touches - snacks, coffee bar, etc. highly recommend.

We love the apartment - close to SB proper but with easy access to all of our favorite quieter locales in Carpinteria and the SB back country. We’ll return whenever we have a few days free.

We spent an amazing weekend at Amor Fati! The space was fantastic and we loved being able to see (and hear!) the ocean waves. D’arcy and Mark were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating hosts - they thought of everything and more. Location is perfect for a dreamy getaway to Summerland. Looking forward to our next stay!

Great location; walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Nice, friendly, and safe neighborhood. Ubering to our concert at Santa Barbara Bowl was easy and convenient. The property was clean and stay hassle free. Amenities were perfect for our needs. Owners were great and communication with them was smooth. I’d stay again and highly recommend.

The property was in an excellent location for a visit to Summerland and surrounding areas. The studio was comfortable, clean and well stocked. It was easy to communicate with the owner and the check-in/check- out instructions were very clear. We had a great time!

Small intimate place perfect for our needs.

D’Arcy is a great host and my fiancée and I had an amazing stay. The property is clean, spacious and quiet — and the balcony in particular is excellent. It’s barely 10 mins down the road from Santa Barbara so everything is easily accessible. Plus, it was my fiancée’s birthday 5/5 and D’Arcy thoughtfully gave her a small gift. We had a blast and we would absolutely stay there again. Instructions to check in/out were straightforward and D’Arcy communicates immediately if you message her. Can’t recommend it highly enough for a weekend getaway.

It was better than advertised. We felt at home during our short getaway. D'Arcy had thought of everything to enhance our stay from snacks to beach towels. Windows everywhere that allowed the sun to shine in. The location is convenient and Summerland is a beautiful community. We were grateful that parking was on site and that we were guaranteed a spot. There was a convenient green patch along with treats that made our dog, Bella's stay perfect. We strongly recommend this to others. Thanks again!

Nice place. Very thoughtful hosts in providing snacks, drinks in the fridge and anything else we might need. Very close to restaurants and shops in Summerland. like 2 minutes to walk. We did need to use the white noise machine to block freeway traffic and train noise. We found that to be a minor concern

My husband and I love this studio by the sea. D’Arcy’s thought of absolutely everything and our stay (our first in the area) couldn’t have been better. From booking, preparing to arrive, then our actual stay, D’Arcy was everything you’d hope for in a host. She gave us extremely helpful information about the area and made sure the unit was fully cleaned and stocked to ensure a wonderful stay, including snacks for our doggie. We really can’t say enough about the unit itself and how hard D’Arcy worked to make sure we had everything we needed. We walked the 2 short blocks to the beach every day (with the beach towels and chairs that came in the unit) and our dog loved to frolic in the sand. We also enjoyed all the restaurants we could walk to. We will absolutely be back to beautiful Summerland; we feel as though we’ve made a new friend in D’Arcy!

We enjoyed the location and wonderful hospitality of our host. We came on Boxing Day and were surprised by a tray of snacks and a beautiful keepsake candle . Our dogs smiled all two days sitting by the porch looking out at the horizon

This was a perfect quiet homebase for us for a chill Santa Barbara weekend. It was a little rainy, so it was nice to have somewhere so cozy to come back to. Communication was easy and everything went smoothly. We’d love to stay here again in the future!

No kitchen but Many good restaurants nearby! Had Parents Weekend at UCSB and easy drive !

What a lovely getaway! D'arcy thought of everything - great snacks, chairs and towels for the beach, and super responsiveness when we had questions. We'll be back!

My son and I were in town for a lacrosse tournament in Carpinteria. We picked this place because of convenience (just 6 min away) and ended up really enjoying it more than we anticipated! The room is light-filled and well appointed. We especially liked being able to walk just a block or two to restaurants.

I enjoyed staying here very much and would stay here again. I was in town for a conference at the Pacifica Graduate Institute and it was the perfect quiet location for me.

Nice, clean and the perfect space to use to explore Summerland and SB funk zone. Proximity to the beach was awesome, the beach park was well appointed. Summerland Beach Cafe is a great spot for breakfast. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

Stayed with my 3 teenagers on college tour of UCSB. Home was perfect for our needs. Great porch with ocean view. Beautiful property and gardens. Awesome coffee and beach across the street. Hope to come back for a longer stay!
