Stunning views Comfortable beds Excellent kitchen But… Lower level smells very musty like mildew, they installed a dehumidifier to try to eliminate. Toilet needs to be fixed (just a flapper), and no A/C. So it gets a 4 with potential to be a 5.

We stayed a few days to pick up my son from UCSB and wanted a property with a view. The house had a great view and was perfect for our family and extended family. Only issue we had is the garage was not accessible/broken. Also would be good to have known the driveway is very steep and the house was a multi level with many stairs. Not a problem for me but my 86yo mother in law had a hard time getting around.

The property was very clean, very well stocked, I was actually surprised by the quality of the cook ware. We throughly enjoyed the deck, the view and the short walk to the beach and town where we enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast! The host was very quick to respond on a minor hot tub issue, which we enjoyed very much! Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place with million dollar views

The house was great. Honestly, the posting undersold the view- it was gorgeous. We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect—great for access to drive to wineries, easy to get to Santa Barbara, and also great for times we stayed at the house.

The house is beautiful, the view, magnificent, and the location ideal. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there are plenty of towels provided. They are both upper and lower decks with the upper deck having an amazing view of the ocean, and the lower deck being very well shaded. Only thing to be aware of if you were planning to use this for four individuals or couples, that the two downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom, which is located in one of the bedrooms and not accessible separately for the second bedroom.

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful stay in this lovely 3 bedroom rental with fabulous views of the sea. The house was well equipped with everything we could want or need and the hot tub was a huge hit. The property managers were responsive and very pleasant. A perfect place for us in all respects.

Had a wonderful time with friends for a wedding in town. Such a peaceful neighborhood and super comfy accomodations! Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay in Summerland. This house has all the comforts of home and a gorgeous view to boot! We walked to the quaint little town for coffee, shopping and a long beach walk. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Property was great!! Clean. Proximity to every place was within 15 minute drive. Here for a wedding in Montecito and it was a great location with plenty of room for family. Hotel rooms would have never worked. Nice to have living room to gather, cook and entertain!! Bedroom set up was fantastic. Great out door space. Only draw back was that we hit the hottest weekend in years and no air conditioning, ceiling fans or way to cool off.

This property didn’t fall short of expectation! I stayed here for my wedding weekend with my bridal party and we had the most relaxing, rejuvenating time. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, flatware, china, cooking utensils, etc. the balcony offered gorgeous 180 degree view of the ocean. Gorgeous!!

We loved this house as the views were spectacular and it was so peaceful to sit on the balcony or in the living room and just soak in the views. The house had everything we could want and was nicely appointed with a upgraded kitchen. The house is located really close to the cute and low key town of Summerland, where you could find great spots to eat or shop (although there seems to be tons of home furnishing stores). The house is atop a really steep hill so not all in the group could handle the walk down or up to town. Lots of construction going on and started early in the morning, but suppose that is common in vacation spots. Lovely and very uncrowded town beach was a short drive or walk away. The beds were super comfortable! Bathrooms nice but showers could use some upgrading to match the rest of the house. All and and all, we loved the house and loved the area.

My family loved everything about Summerland Seaview! We had high expectations based on pictures and reviews, and we were not disappointed. We were quite sad to leave and hope to stay at this property again soon.

My multi-generation family just spent a week in the home. It was spacious enough to accommodate 7 adults, the kitchen was great and well stocked, the view from the balcony was beautiful and the hot tub was great. We will definitely go back!

This interior of the property is extremely well-maintained, with what obviously have been consistent, thorough cleanings and care. The view was spectacular and the outside accommodations were lovely -- with beautiful landscaping surrounding a pre-heated and scrupulously clean hot tub. A wonderful stay for our family. Entry into the property was clear and concise, and the binder left on the premises answered any additional questions we had. Highly recommend!

This beautiful home is even more spectacular in person than in the pictures. We traveled to gather for a 50th Anniversary, and my mom's 70th Birthday. The layout accommodated our family of four, and my parents, perfectly. Our boys are 17 and 14, and loved that they could walk to the beach. They could also walk the half mile to "town" to pick up a pizza, etc. The home is set up with an in-law quarters downstairs (with access inside- not a separate unit, unless you wanted to close the doors ). We remarked it would have been ideal when our boys were younger, as we would have had a bedroom, small kitchen, and two super cozy twin beds for our boys all on one floor. One son slept downstairs with us, and our other son took the extra bedroom in front of the house. My parents had the upstairs master, and loved it. This house is appointed with anything and everything you could ever need, and extremely nice bedding. Everything was spotless, and the few hiccups we had (no fault of the owner/property manager- you wouldn't know unless someone mentioned them) with a small leak in the kitchen, and the garbage disposal not plugged in, were addressed within 15 minutes. My husband and I are UCSB graduates, and enjoyed taking our boys to visit the campus, and DT Santa Barbara. We had an incredible meal celebrating my parents at Lucky's in Montecito on evening. The kitchen and view were so beautiful that we spent most of our mornings drinking too much coffee, and taking in the gorgeous view. We've been fortunate enough to stay in some very nice rentals, and I don't always feel I'd return. I'd return to this property in a heartbeat, and am so grateful for such a perfect stay. Thank you!

We rented the home for a long Memorial Day weekend with friends from Friday through Sunday nights. We used the kitchen for two large evening meals and large breakfasts all three mornings. The double dishwasher, double oven, three different types of coffee makers, vitamix blender, and impressive six-burner range were all fantastic touches that made our stay comfortable. Everyone said their beds were great. The views were legit and the weather was perfect.

Great house. Plenty of room for our family. The view is magnificent. We hope to visit again!

We loved our stay in Summerland! We are 7 girlfriends from college who celebrated a milestone birthday. This was a beautiful and comfortable home with terrific views and very close to the beach. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The main floor is well done, with chef’s kitchen and ocean views from all the rooms. We would definitely stay there again. Our only frustrations were the stairs involved to get from street level to the main floor, and the ongoing construction on 101 closing the Summerland exit. Otherwise it was a five star stay.

We enjoyed everything about this property. As others have said, the main floor felt larger than seen in the photos. The view of the ocean was spectacular, the kitchen was top notch. The bedrooms are all away from each other so everyone can have their own space. The hot tub is very convenient. It is close to 101 so going anywhere is easy. We had a great time at this property. We also enjoyed watching the seals in Carpenteria, the monarch butterfly grove at Elk Mesa, the Santa Barbara botanical garden and the restaurants in Santa Barbara.

The house was exactly as pictured. Clean and well equipped for the perfect vacation! The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities like the beach or hiking. The host was easy to contact, accommodating, and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property!

A group of me and 7 girlfriends stayed at Summerland Seaview for a long weekend. It was a perfect space for all of us, we had plenty of room and the common areas were great for all of our entertainment. To be honest the pictures don't do it justice, it is more spacious and beautiful than I imagined! The property managers were great to work with.

The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. There was a representative who met us upon arrival which was a good, personal touch. The owner’s demands were not unreasonable like other property’s I’ve rented. I still say since a cleaning fee is collected there should be little to no expectation for the guest to assist in housekeeping in any way.I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
