We all had an amazing time. Ideal accommodation with the home away from home holiday experience, perfectly positioned for exploring Purbeck and the surrounding area.

Super well-equipped, warm and spacious cottage in excellent location close to Wareham and very close to excellent pub just along the road. Everything was excellent and we hope to return!

Just a few words of thanks for our stay at Tanners Cottage , it was an absolute delight,we couldn't have asked for more , beautifully clean, so comfortable and provided all we needed for our weekend away together .. Great location, the short walk to pub which was friendly, walked into Wareham with lots of little shops,quayside, markets and plant of places to eat and drink fabulous. Can't wait until we book another stay at Tanners Cottage!

The cottage is very well equipped, and very comfortably furnished. It is exactly what we hoped for from the description. It enhanced our vacation visit to the Dorset coast, because it was a pleasure to return to after a day of exploring.

We stayed at Tanners Cottage while we were visiting Dorset for a wedding. It’s a lovely cottage and has every comfort for a long or short stay. Pretty garden too.

Good sized cottage that you could actually live in. Excellent location for nearby amenities. Very quiet and peaceful. I would return to Tanners Cottage if staying in the area.

We loved our stay inTanners Cottage. It was super clean, and beautifully furnished and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics and more, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, spices, foil, cling film, tea, etc, etc. We were welcomed with delicious locally made sourdough bread and butter, jam, biscuits, milk, and more! A week of rainy weather curtailed our walks, but the comfy cottage, unique Wareham shops and local made the holiday special. The Kings Arms in Stoborough is 5 minutes walk away and has great gin and beer. And The Salt Pig in Wareham has an amazing deli selection to bring home, as well as fresh local fish and cheese. The garden and patio could do with attention, as they both have weeds and the patio could use a power wash. But that is a small thing, if I'm being picky.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage once again, great location for the beach and Wareham Quay. Very well equipped with everything we needed for the week.

Immaculately clean as always and well laid out. Location is ideal for exploring the local areas of Swanage and Weymouth. Bonus of having your own parking space and the little food extras the owners leave is a lovely touch. Having relatives living close by made it even better. Ideal for a family and highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks at Tanners Cottage. Everything about the property was as described. The location was perfect for a short walk into Wareham which has lots of excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. The weather just enhanced the holiday, with plenty to still do had it not been as good. Would highly recommend and would love to return next year.

Tanners cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The patio is really private and it's a lovely place to soak up the sun & relax. All our needs were catered for we couldn't ask for anything better.

Very welcoming property , lovely roses to welcome us plus milk ,bread ,butter jam& two bottles of cider. We had issues with the plug in the bathroom ,prompted response very friendly .The location was perfect we didn’t have to travel more than eleven miles to visit attractions ,beaches coastal path & RSPB reserve.We would definitely recommend this cottage .

The fact we came back is testimony to our very positive experience. Lovely cottage in great location . Across the Causeway from a lovely little town and close to brilliant beaches and wonderful coast.

The property is lovely with 2 good sized bedrooms, a well organised kitchen, comfortable living room and very nice garden area. The property is well positioned to be able to get to the town centre as well as to the beach which is around 20 minutes away by car. Only negative is that the twin beds in the second bedroom were quite soft and not comfortable for me as I have a dodgy back. The double bed in the other bedroom was much more comfortable. Overall, as the title suggests, it is a lovely place to stay.

We booked tgis property for a long weekend break. It was just as you see it on the website. Lovely welcome gifts and very tastefully decorated and cosy. Ideally placed for lots of sightseeing, walks and interesting places and things for all ages. Would wholeheartedly recommend, and sure we will be back.

We love this cottage! This our second visit and standards remain high. Well laid out, everything you need and warm evenings by the log fire. Perfect location for exploring studland, Durdle door etc We will be back!
