The canvas dome was unique. Bed was wonderful, hot coco in the morning was class, breakfast was excellent, staff was personable and welcoming.

This was amazing place! Personnel was very kind and we were feeling very welcome. Dome itself was very clean and well equiped. All details were perfect. Coffee to the bed in the morning was nice extra. Breakfast was very unique and made from local ingredients. It was also very well introduced before we started eating, so nice. Bar was open in the evening and pizza there was like in Italy! Restaurant tiipii was amazing. In brief very unique experience made with passion!

location is just perfect, it is small, private, and the owner and his employees are beyond pleasant people; very friendly, heartful people. amazing stay, wish we could stay longer. but if we return to this part of Norway anytime in the future, i am sure we will definetly stay here again.

Great staff, great place and great food. Luck would have it and the lights danced above us while we laid in bed. The main cook Peter should be a top chef.
Maybe a warning sticker for us tall people who kept bumping head entering/exiting bathroom in tent.

The trip started with me adding the wrong address in google maps and ending up in the middle of nowhere. We called there and they kindly went to collect us.
The dome was beautiful and cozy!
The dinner was just AMAZING! The fish was so fresh, I really regretted to have booked it for just one night. They had loads of alcohol free options (as I am pregnant, this was a huuuge plus!).
They also clear paths for trails everywhere, so its really perfect for some walking.
Unfortunately, we did not see the Northern Lights, however the place was so nice that it didn't really matter.
Everything was perfect, but it would be nice if they had some snacks to sell there.

Staying at Glød was a wonderful and well rounded experience. Both the staff and owner were extremely hospitable, which made us feel right at home! Additionally breakfast and dinner was a dream! Sleeping in the Canvas Dome was very comfortable and cosy. Overall the experience definitely can best be described as perfect!

Great place to stay with and fabulous sleeping quarters. Great breakfast, made by a gracious host. This is a place where you can sleep close to nature, but still have the amenities of a hotel. Worth a stay if you are in Alta or the Finnmark-region in general.
