We loved our stay at Sea Glass Retreat. The house is beautiful and spotless. It provides every amenity and convenience imaginable. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has every gadget, utensil and appliance we needed. The open concept of house is perfect and affords great views over the pool and canal. The sound of the water flowing from the spa into the pool adds to the tranquility of the lanai’s environment. A plus is a nature park across the street that has great trails for walking along with all the other beautiful parks in Punta Gorda. Bikes are provided and beach chairs. The hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with. Punta Gorda also has many great restaurants and overall it’s a lovely community with plenty to offer. We’ve stayed in various VRBO’s which were great, but Sea Glass Retreat is outstanding and surpassed our expectations. We truly felt at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our month at Sea Glass Retreat. The home is beautiful! Great furnishings and lovely décor. The view was spectacular and the location is perfect. Laura and Rich responded immediately to a minor problem with Infinity. We’ve already booked a month for next year.

Stayed in this wonderful home over the holidays. From start to finish we were very pleased with our stay. The home was just as pictured, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the house was very clean. Laura and Rich were very easy to communicate with and the check in process was seamless. I would stay here again and highly recommend!

Sea Glass Retreat is a definite WOW! Rich & Laura, the owners, have thoughtfully provided everything you will ever need for your stay. The quality of all the furnishings, the dishes, appliances, cutlery, cookware, linens and towels etc. is just *first class*. Just add grocery shopping and a car to get around and your stay will be complete. The lanai area with the pool and water feature is a quiet relaxing oasis. Rich and Laura are very attentive and reply to any questions in a timely and helpful manner. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we were very unfortunately summoned to return to Canada. Our 6 week vacation came to an abrupt end after only 12 days. Very sad for us. We would recommend this property to anyone without reservation. It is just fantastic and makes for a wonderful holiday. We have rented many other properties in Florida but none as outstanding as this one. Hope you enjoy your holiday at Sea Glass Retreat.

We spent a month in this wonderful house. I really can't think of much that previous reviewers haven't said. The home is lovely; it was clean and well furnished. We especially enjoyed the comfy sofa, loveseat, and rocker (all with recliners), as well as great mattresses. Loved spending time on the lanai. Plenty of towels and linens; lots of cookware and utensils. Mostly updated appliances; large closets with many hangers. In every way a comfortable, welcoming place. Impressive as the house was, just as impressive was communication with the owners! Laura and Rich were fantastic to work with from the time we booked to responding to questions while we were there to following up when we left - just outstanding! The location was very convenient to all that we needed - groceries, Walgreens, golf courses, restaurants, etc. Lots of bikers and walkers in the neighborhood, including us. It was a most enjoyable month in Sea Glass Retreat and Punta Gorda - we highly recommend it!

Every detail is provided for the comfort of guests in this beautifully decorated, spacious and oh-so comfortable home! The owners have though of everything to help guests enjoy their stay, from bikes to ride in the park across the street or to downtown PG, to fishing poles for the canal, to games, movies & cards for entertainment, and plentiful supplies and towels and even aerobeds provided for extra guests. We enjoyed the beautiful selections for home decor and artwork as well during our stay. The owners were so nice and very responsive answering our questions even before our stay, and followed up with us to make sure we had what we needed. We did not use the pool since temps were a little cold for most of our stay, but we did enjoy sitting poolside for breakfast or lunch listening to the peaceful sound of the pool fountain. A stay at this luxurious home is definitely recommended!

We have stayed in many VRBO and ABB homes and condos. This was the best! The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is stocked with everything you need. Everything is labeled and laid out perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Most impressive was the amount of room. Great kitchen, great livingroom, great bedrooms, great bathrooms.... Lots of room, but not too much room. Plenty of room in the bathroom for all of the personal items without digging into the travel kit every time you want something. Lots of towels and wash clothes. I like to unpack; lots of dressers and closet space for hanging items. I don't do the cooking, but there were no complaints from the kitchen. Plenty of utensils, plates silverware, glasses, etc. We even cooked a meal in a crock pot for some friends nearby that were going through a busy time. Watched the fish jump in the canal as we ate dinner on the lanai. As the cook was also on vacation we had a difficult time picking from the 5 star restaurants. Plenty of places on or near the water too. Only got to the beach once this time, but a great day. As with the restaurants, hard to decide what beach to visit. Perfect weather to shut off the A/C and open all the glass doors to the pool and patio. Can't do that at my house. Busy day? Enjoy the wonderful shower or jetted tub. Got a chance to use the fishing poles and bikes. Dunkin Donuts is a short ride up the street. The only regrets were: vacation too short, leaving the beautiful weather and that wonderful house. Owners stayed in touch with text to insure 100% satisfaction.

I would highly recommend this home for a quiet, comfortable vacation. Beautiful and comfortable home, great location. Clean, well maintained and a beautiful view of the canal and nice pool. Owners were very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions or concerns.

The home is located near shopping, bars, excellent restaurants and fishing. The home is very relaxing we opened up the sliding glass windows let in the fresh air and enjoyed the heated pool (pay extra to heat the pool it is totally worth it.). We grilled, created cocktails and enjoyed our friendship. The house has everything you need for 3 couples to vacation together. There are several excellent local restaurants for dinner and several locations to sip cocktails and enjoy the sunset.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. Laura and Richard sure know how to cover all the bases when it comes to accommodations. They are also very prompt in communicating back and forth. Thank you for sharing this paradise with us. We would have loved to come back the same time next year but alas someone beat us to it.

Richard and Laura made our stay about as perfect as it could be. Everything was as advertised and a bit more with the wine and chocolates, which was a nice surprise.
