Clothilde's apartment was spacious and very comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen. The main area looked out directly on the Saône River with its boat and barge traffic which was very interesting. The apartment was located in Vieux Lyon with all its food and hospitality offerings. We very much enjoyed staying there.

Exactement ce que nous recherchions, appart impeccable, au pied de la vielle ville, vue sur la Saone et une hôtesse au petit soins et très responsable! This was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, bordering the old town, river view, and a very attentive hostess!

The apartment is in an ideal location for a short visit to Lyon, in the Vieux Lyon area and overlooking the river Saone. The charming owner, Clothilde, provided faultless directions and met us on arrival and departure. The rooms are spacious, elegant and well equipped. We would definitely choose to stay there if we visited Lyon again.

The apartment is in an amazing area of Lyon. So many Bouchons and bars only minutes walk away. However there is no cooling of any kind. If you’re coming during summer or Autumn be prepared to swelter. A few ceiling fans would’ve helped. The only other issue was noise. Tres noisey. You need to keep the windows open to keep cool but due to the noise unfortunately you can’t. A shame as the owner was fantastic but all it needs is cooling.

Lovely property, amazing location, close to bars and restaurants, very clean with all the facilities. Great weekend at the rugby world cup xx

Can you say WONDERFUL enough times for this property?!!! Amazing location, great owner who has made her apartment so hospitable for your stay. A historic building but with all modern amenities. Can’t say enough. Stay here for sure

The location of this property is spectacular! Everything is within footsteps of your door. The apartment is beautifully furnished, right down to the grocery bag/cart that is sitting by the door. It immediately felt like home. It was hard to leave. Couple that with the nicest host, and our experience was truly wonderful. Thank you.

We stayed at this amazing apartment situated on the Saone for 3 nights. The apartment is close to train and bus stations and the gracious host gave an excellent explanation on how to arrive to the apartment and met us upon our arrival and explained all about the apartment. The apartment is also situated close to all of Lyons sites which are all with in walking distance. There is also a wonderful street market across the bridge and is well supplied for all your self catering needs. There is also a grocery cart on wheels at the apartment to make for easy transportation of all of your market purchases. The apartment was sprinkling clean, bright and well equipped, there is also a lift for suitcases. Check out was an easy as check in with the host arriving back to the apartment to collect the keys and say Bon Voyage. Thank you Clothilde for a welcome stay in your beautiful city of Lyon

This is a great apartment and Clothilde has made sure it has everything you need. It is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The bed is really comfortable. Staying in the old town means you’re close to all the main sights and experiences that inner Lyon has to offer - we walked almost everywhere. Of course being so central means it can be a bit noisy on hot nights when the windows are open but it’s worth it for the Vieux Lyon experience.

Well appointed apartment in a great location .

The location of this apartment was great! We walked to everything. It was quiet yet right next to cobbled stone streets filled with restaurants and shops and lots of hidden traboules. The owner was kind and easy to communicate with. The apartment was beautiful and filled with anything you might need. I highly recommend staying there.

We booked online very easy and straight forward. We arrived and were greeted by our host. A beautiful spot very centrally located in old Lyon. A very good experience overall would highly recommend to anyone else. Clothilde thank you!!

Clothilde was very helpful on check-in and explaining everything about the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with all the necessary things for a short or long stay.It is in a great location in the old town and very close to lots of little cafes and pubs. Overlooking the river with beautiful food markets just on the other side of the river. Clothilde kindly booked a cab for us on our day of departure. One less thing to worry about. We highly recommend it and would happily stay there again.

The flat was clean on arrival and full of very useful things to spend a stress-free family holiday. Everything was included to be comfortable: heating, washing machine, dishwasher, etc plus lots of utensils to be able to cook. The children slept in the bedroom which was great. We slept in the lounge, and we found it a bit bright at night (but got used to it: the landlady is aware and is trying to find solutions). A great stay, I would highly recommend.

My first time using VRBO for a stay and Clothilde made my first experience a very pleasant one. Her apartment was clean and located very centrally for our stay. The decor was so fun; colorful and bright. The sofa bed and bed were comfortable and there were some very nice touches (heated towel rack in the bathroom). She provided guide books to use/borrow and a binder full of useful tips and restaurant suggestions. She was very helpful with directions and suggestions for getting to the bus station when our flight was cancelled - a real life saver. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Clothilde!

Photos don’t do this place justice! It’s a lovely well decorated and well supplied home, with thoughtful info provided by host. The bedroom faces courtyard away from road but you will hear neighbors coming down stairs but not a big deal. Location is perfect for visiting old town, tiver markets etc. for our 3 nights stay. Would love to stay longer next time!

The apartment was a perfect answer to a stressful time in Paris. We came to Lyon after several days in Paris for business and some leisure—the recent protest was wrecking havoc on many things including transportation, traffic, trash—therefore contributing lots of stress. Lyon was the perfect answer! Wonderful food (superb to Paris and very affordable, even the starred restaurants!), wine, culture, adventure, people. The pace and ease were a relief, as was the weather. We are both in Our 60’s and found the area east to navigate in spite of a recent knee injury. The elevator was appreciated, even though we only had one flight of stairs. The Renaissance building is amazing and most interesting. The apartment is in a perfect location right in old Lyon on the Soane so near all the bridges to other areas. The city is very east to navigate and much within 10-20 minutes of walking. The apartment was just as described only more quiet (perhaps it is because we are pre-season) and the windows, which open to much delight, allow light and a view. All things were as described and the bed (important!) was most comfortable. Clotilde and her daughters were lovely and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again! Lyon—a smaller and more charming (and way less expensive) version of Paris with art, culture, gastronomy, history and joy!

Very enjoyable week in a well organised warm apartment. Great view of Soane River and surrounds. Easy walking to sites of Vieux Lyon, and public transport close by if you needed to go afar. Highly recommended.

Nice apartment in wonderful location for exploring Lyon

The living area has great light and a view of the river. The kitchen is relatively small but has all the essentials. The bed and linens were comfortable. The bedroom has windows opening on to the inner courtyard. Even with the windows closed, it could be intermittently noisy at night as people came in late (especially the weekends) and at 5 AM when the trash bins were taken out. Our only upgrade wish was faster internet. The location is great for exploring Lyon on foot, bike (a rental station is steps away), or public transit. We walked to just about every location we wanted to visit. There are good restaurants in every direction and an excellent boulangeie/patisserie (Chez Jules) very close by.

A very comfortable and well equipped apartment in an excellent location. It has lovely views over the river Saone. There is a good choice of restaurants nearby plus a great bakery is just around the corner. This is a perfect place to stay in Lyon.

Stylish appartment in the middle of Vieux Lyon. The only weakness is it's biggest advantage as well: Located on top of Lyons famous ice cream cafe "Nardone", the evening guests always seduce you to go downstairs and try another of the many flavors available. Appartment is beautifully and well equipped. Host is flexible and very helpful.

My wife and I stayed in July this year and found Clothilde's apartment to be perfect for us. It's situated in the middle of the old town and surrounded by many places to see and visit. There are a number of places to eat or go for a drink locally too. There's a very nice view from the living room windows looking out on to the Sâone river. At the weekends the markets are right outside lining the river on both sides and the stop for the river boat is very conveniently situated too. Clothilde is a very attentive host and keeps a very clean and tidy apartment. She provides a lot of helpful information about the city and was able to be contacted throughout. Altogether we would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved Lyon and this beautiful apartment by the river. The neighborhood is lively but the apartment was very quiet, with the windows closed. Beautiful view of the Soane.

We can without reservation give this apartment a 5 star review. From the wonderful host to the location and the furnishings this is the place to stay. It definitely made our trip to Lyon more special and we are already making plans to return.
