Excellent Noël en famille à la montagne. Même si les conditions sanitaires ne nous ont pas permis de skier et de profiter pleinement de la situation du chalet, il faut souligner qu'il est idéalement placé car très proche de la piste qui mène au Prarion. Pas besoin de voiture pour aller chercher les pistes. Mais nécessaire tout de même pour faire ses courses. La route d'accès est relativement pratique et déneigée assez rapidement. Le chalet est agréable et parfaitement équipé, ce qui témoigne de l'attachement de sa propriétaire à tout mettre en oeuvre pour que les vacanciers s'y sentent bien. La vue sur la vallée de Chamonix est superbe. Et la cheminée fonctionne parfaitement. Seuls hics, un robinet de cuisine défectueux et l'impossibilité de garer plus d'une voiture en bas du chemin d'accès au chalet, sauf à avoir un gros 4x4 (la pente est raide). Pour le robinet, il convient cependant de souligner que la propriétaire ne pouvait être présente avant notre arrivée du fait de la crise covid. C'est bien dommage de n'avoir pu la rencontrer car les échanges ont été très sympathiques. Merci Janet

Chalet avec beaucoup de charme et comfortable. Une superbe vue. (Le barbecue n'était pas utilisable et il manquait un sèche-salade.)

Super accueil de Janet qui vous assure de passer un bon moment. Le chalet est très bien situé au bord de la piste qui descend au Prarion, quel bonheur de ne pas prendre sa voiture !

We had a lovely stay, perfect weather and great skiing. the Chalet was only a short walk from a slope - albeit over back garden land - but that meant you were on the slopes and down to a number of lifts in minutes. The Chalet had everything we needed, it was warm, and cosy, and had a great outlook down the valley; giving an impressive view both day and night. ~The owner Jan was extremely helpful and kept in contact with us all week and we felt we had value for money You do need a car to stay at this chalet due to its location up the mountain roads and my only negative comment is that the drive is very steep and when covered in snow it is slippery and when the snow was melted away by salt it became quite wet and muddy.

We have stayed twice now at Chalet Altitude, actually booking our second stay whilst there the first time! We were made to feel welcome even before arriving, the owner being prompt in replying and helpful in providing all the information that we required. The chalet was exactly as we expected it to be from the photos and info received beforehand – bright, spacious, clean, with a FANTASTIC view of the Chamonix valley. There was an excellent range of cooking equipment which was all well utilised. Everything in the chalet worked – TV, wifi, all cooking equipment. All the beds and bedrooms were thoroughly cleaned and all of a good size, all with superb views again. With easy access to the piste – some 30m away, all was happiness and contentment with the skiers in our group. Needless to say we are now booked in to visit again next year, and are looking forward to it already! Merci bien Jan et Monique!

The views are magnificent. We were there for 3 weeks and had a great time.We will certainly return as we love the skiing in Les Houches. Very good customer service, could not be more helpful.
