This house was perfect for our family of five. We were 20 minutes or less from most attractions and beaches. (Watch out for rush hour traffic, though!!) Good communication with the home owner. The house with all the basic home necessities which helped make this such a lovely vacation!

We stayed here for a long weekend and the place is great. Beautifully maintained and has a well stocked kitchen. Worked perfectly for our family of 5.

Our family traveled from Boston/Providence to Mount Pleasant for a surprise birthday party for our daughter. The house was exactly as depicted on the website. It was immaculate, close to the beach, shopping and was equipped with everything needed for our stay. Shems Creek and downtown Charleston are only a short drive away. We highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area!!

This is a lovely property. Warm and inviting, a nice home away from home! The property was clean and ready for use. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and our family was close by. The house is outfitted with everything you might need, plus things you might have forgotten. Highly recommend this property and will rent it again!

Great location for our naval nuclear power graduation and Charleston wedding. Home was well equipped and comfortable for our group. It was nice to have a relaxing place to get out of the heat between all our activities. We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

I stayed at this home with 3 friends for a girls' weekend. We found the home to be absolutely charming. It was clean and the amenities provided were just what we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was very helpful and provided additional information about where to go and what to do. We found plenty to do in Mt. Pleasant, but also found it very easy to get to and from Charleston.

We booked this house bc we were looking for something centrally located in the Charleston area. It accommodated our family with two little kids and all of our stuff without making us feel cramped.

We cannot say enough good things about this home in Mt. Pleasant! It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to everything we wanted to do and see. When I say clean, I mean SPOTLESS! Beds were very comfortable, decor is lovely and uncluttered, open living space very relaxing and Jeff and Melissa have provided every amenity needed and then some. There were even 2 coffee carafes which were nice because two of the three of us staying drink different coffees. This was a bonus for us. Jeff's communication was immediate and always with the goal of being helpful. There was a nice backyard with a picnic table which we enjoyed upon our arrival prior to dinner. I hope I have not forgotten anything because "Southern Comforts" was truly a find. We were so happy with our choice and hope it is available whenever we visit Charleston/Mt. Pleasant again! In fact, we would probably choose trip dates based on its availability only! We loved our stay. Thank you so much Jeff and Melissa!

The house was perfect. It was as advertised, and clean. Jeff, the owner was quick to respond to our questions. There are so many things to do and see in Mount Pleasant and the location of the house made it easy to get to everything. I highly recommend this property!

This property was a perfect match for our family. There were 6 of us that stayed - my parents (70s), us (40s), and our two sons (7 & 11). We had initially booked two hotel rooms at a nearby hotel, but realized we could rent this entire house for $100 less than the two hotel rooms put together. With the added cleanliness, full kitchen, and ease of coming and going, it was no match to even the nicest hotel. We greatly enjoyed exploring the north end of Charleston, as we had previously always stayed to the south. It was a great week of wonderful memories. We would highly recommend this property and would certainly choose to stay there again ourselves.

We had a wonderful time. The home was clean, charming, and absolutely lovely. There were four of us that stayed at the home and we had plenty of room and the neighborhood was quiet. One of us ran the Cooper River Bridge Run and with the start of the race in Mt. Pleasant, it was a perfect location. It was easy to get to and from Charleston. We found plenty to do in Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. We all agreed we would stay at this home again.

We loved the house as it provided a cozy place to stay with our 9 month old. It was so great to be so close to Charleston, isle of palms, Sullivan island, folly beach and even the airport. The house was clean and super cute!! We hope to visit again soon!

We absolutely LOVED the place! The house was spotless when we arrived. The location is perfect. We had a chance to go for long bike rides nearby, sit on the beach, take a carriage tour in Charleston and enjoyed many of the restaurants nearby. We also used the grill twice. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen for our meals and the beds were very comfortable. We loved having access to the garage to secure our bikes overnight. I can highly recommend this property.

We went for my husbands 60th bday & took 2 of our kids & 1 grandson. The house was very cute & clean. My grandson loved playing ball in the fenced in backyard. It was a very short trip to Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, & downtown Charleston. Lots of great restaurants to choose from nearby. Overall, we had a great stay & will def rent this house again on our next trip to Charleston!

This home is beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked! They have thought of everything in this home...including its own Alexa! We stayed here with 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 9, and 6). The location is amazing because it was only about 10-15 minutes away from everything we did. We only had two full days, but we visited the Boone Plantation, Patriots Point, SC Aquarium, and the Charleston Museum. We also had some great meals at Poe's Tavern and at Eli's table. We would HIGHLY recommend this property and plan to stay here again when we return one day!

Loved our stay. Everything was clean when we arrived. We had no issues and Jeff was very responsive when I was looking for a few things around the house. The back yard was great to play in with our little boy. The location was super convenient to Sullivan Island, Shim Creek, and at least a dozen restaurants.

House was perfect for our trip. We could easily get around Mt Pleasant, to the beach and on 526. Perfect with kids since one level. Very clean and updated.

We used this house as a base of operations for exploring Charleston and the surrounding area. Everything was as advertised. The house was neat and clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Jeff was very responsive to our questions before our travel and one minor concern during our stay. He was truly caring that we had a nice stay. We would highly recommend.

Good house! Neighbors behind the house stayed outside making noise until 11 p.m., with their dog barking and keeping my daughter awake. Beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed.

This was our first experience using an online service for lodging. The home is extremely attractive, nicely decorated, and well-stocked. It had a fully equipped kitchen and pantry with supplies. It was extremely clean. There was nothing the owners hadn’t thought of to make vacationers comfortable! I would definitely rent this home again when in the Mt. Pleasant area, and will recommend to others.

The four women who rented this property for a girl's getaway had a FABULOUS time. The house was exactly as described and photographed on the VRBO site. This is the cleanest property I have ever rented in years. Hope to return again soon.
