The staff is absolutely fantastic. Hana booked every trip for us and was veeery helpful. The rest of the staff too!

Location is far from the city and you need a trycicle or a motorbike for every move. Expensive for what it offers.

water in the sink didn't work at all (brushed our teeth in the shower); wifi didn't work in the room (only in the kitchen area); no toilet paper provided (you have to buy it yourself); water pressure in the shower was at times so low that only drops were coming out, which made showering impossible

- The room was big! A big plus for a had a huge bed and for a working desk! - Ac+fan - Wifi was great - Manager very helpful - Quiet - Kitchen + common table - Private bathroom even tho its separate

- The outlets for charging in the room where not good located. The one next to desk was not ideal at all because u could not fit a bigger charger inbetween. - The bathrooms are not located in the room - The water from the shower/sinks smelled VERY BAD. But that might be an issue for siargao overall - A lot of bugs, but can also be a problem for siargao overall - A bit located outside general luna which was not ideal to walk. But we got an tricycle everytime. Sometimes had to wait for a while - Unfortunately some of our clothes was ruined do to the washing service. They tried to fix it but not all of them recoverd. Very nice cleaning lady tho! - The main door was not locked during the night which was a bit scary sometimes to think about. I think it should be a common rule to close it for night.

very commendable as the place was clean, safe and quiet. Nina, who manages the property was very accommodating as well. If you want a place with really fast internet and good service then you should definitely check this place out.

NINA!!!! She is amazing! We have travelled for 4 months now and have never met such a kind and helpful member of staff as much as Nina was! She went above and beyond, planning tours, surfing, tips on places to eat, places to visit, even recommended us hotels in the area as they were fully booked. She even continued to message us on WhatsApp and help us even when we weren’t staying there anymore! She is a wonderful person and the world needs more Nina’s! What a beautiful soul :) Also Secret Spot is a lovely hotel! The room was huge, clean, they provided you with eye mask, ear plugs and a plug in bug repellent! It’s just a lovely vibe! The dog and cat are super friendly! I’ll miss those 2 furbabies! Char & Liam

Nothing. I loved it. Just remember when you’re in Siargao you will experience dogs and insects, you’re on a tropical island what do you expect?!

The property was stunning and so clean. There was a lovely ambience about the place. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The location was a bit further than I expected, it was walkable but getting a tricycle made things a bit easier.

I cant say i like it...

I hate that there was no light at the entrance or lobby at night. No toilet papers, old towels, flooded shower, no airconditions, bugs/insects in the rooms.

my room was bad, small and the shower only had cold water. I didn’t sleep a wink as the dog and cat kept barking / meowing all night. the location is good for secret beach but very far out of the main town of general Luna and there’s nothing nearby.

Nina (the manager) was very friendly and helpful :) The Sunset room was pretty and spacious.

The bathroom was not in the room. You had to go downstairs to go to the toilet.

Place was homey, peaceful, and had everything we needed! Nina was very helpful and a joy to talk to! The sunrise room was spacious, comfortable, and had lots of natural light especially in the morning.

The only thing was that we were expecting an en-suite bathroom but instead had a designated bathroom downstairs. In the end it turned out alright and we got used to it.

Simple comfy room with AC and space for our clothes. Also there was a fan to help dry our clothes. Shared kitchen is great as well. Good value for money.

Our shower had no hot water.

Staff was amazing. Helped with booking all our activities . My partner had to work so the studio was nice and spacious. High ceiling. Good location, short tricycle ride away (can get from sari sari just in front).

Room near the road so can be noisy. Windows and doors aren't super well insulated. However AC worked very well and the studio has 2 nice fans on the roof. A bit outside town of General Luna.

An awful experience. The room was packed with bugs and mosquitos. The towels had stains, and the bed, which laid directly on the floor, was dirty because of small animal poos. We couldn’t sleep because we were continuously scratching our body. On top of that, every time you wanted to go in/out of the hotel, you got completely soaked. They didn’t even had a proper path to the entrance door. Lastly, the hotel doesn’t have a signage, so it is difficult to spot it it you are not using Google Maps. We booked 3 nights, yet immediately left after our first night.

Nice owner and personal. Away from the tourist areas which is great if you have a scooter

Room freshly painted = strong smell of paint, had to sleep with a mask, towels in a bad shape, nothing than a very small toom to sleep..... Too expensive for what it is

SecretSpot has the best manager out there, the chill vibes, the quiet beach nearby and the gym next door. Also they make your bed every day.

The only thing that I didn't like it. Was the cat and dogs inside let down in the sofa. And the cat jumping to the table when I'm eating. I like the animals but i don't like letdown in the same pilow or sofa that them.

Amazing homey hostel but social. Great facilities, well equiped kitchen and hot shower. They clean and tidy your bed everyday and the hostel is very clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. A little bit far from the main road, so I recommend renting a motorbike for your stay. Perfect located if you want to enjoy surfing at the beautiful Paradise beach or Secret beach. Definitely one of the best Ive stayed in the Philippines.

I dont Have any good feedback in this Hostel it seems like a Nightmare im not asleep for the whole night Becouse of the Mosquitos until now i have many rashes and Bites from Mosquitos

i dont like thier Accomdation specially the bed and its very hot during that night Booking.com moswuitos now in the philippins is dangerous you can check this place ive to mang hostels in Asian country a long time but this the most worst accomdation i have been through sori to tel that secret spot
