We chose this property to enjoy a weekend away with family friends. In every category this property exceeded our expectations. It is by far the cleanest property we have rented. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we were able to relax, play games, and enjoy each other's company. We are definitely planning on booking again in the future to check out more of the amenities the community offers. Thank you Elina and Chris for sharing your vacation home with us!

Communication with the owner was stellar from the start! The home is immaculate and suitable for people of all ages!! One truly does not need to leave the home, as there is in-home 24/7 entertainment; the basement is a game lovers utopia! It includes a pool table, ping pong table, foosball, air hockey, and more! Additionally, there is a plethora of DVD's and CD's to select from. There is a beautiful fireplace and an outdoor firepit as well. Renters are able to enjoy community recreation facilities, including indoor pickleball and basketball. There is a golf course and a snow hill where the family can enjoy snowboarding, skiing, and tubing. We enjoyed all the amenities in the clean, tastefully decorated home as well as in the community. We even received a welcome note and a bottle of wine as we entered the home! We can't wait to bring the family back to create more memories!

We came for a family memorial getaway on the second anniversary of our Mom passing away. The Woodview did not disappoint. We had so many laughs playing ping pong, air hockey, and putter ball. From the easy check in process to extremely clean home, to a fabulous game room, we cannot say enough wonderful things. We look forward to a return visit.

Everything about this place is as wonderful as advertised. The hosts are extremely organized and we’re very quick to respond to any question I had (which wasn’t many because they were very thorough throughout the entire process). The only thing I didn’t love is the actual hideout community itself. It’s a lovely community, but it’s very easy to get lost in if you’re not careful! Overall, I’d highly recommend this house if you’re looking to stay in the area!

Our family of 6 adults and 1 baby thoroughly enjoyed Chris and Elina's house. The open floor plan on the main floor worked great for us. The outside deck with wicker furniture and large Weber grill was very comfortable for afternoon cocktails and grilling. We ate dinner each evening on the screened in porch which allowed us to be outside without worrying about the weather. We didn't use the large game room in the basement, but I can imagine that it would be fantastic for teenagers. Chris and Elina were very responsive hosts. Within minutes we usually had a reply to any questions. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out; we couldn't imagine a more seamless experience.

This home has everything you need for a perfect stay in The Hideout. From an awesome games room to a fully equipped kitchen and a selection of classic movies on DVD. You can see that the owners put a lot of effort in making sure that this home has it all, down to every little detail!

This is our second time at the hideout and really enjoyed our trip. The house was amazing. Super clean and updated. Everything is set up so you clearly in and feel like you know your way around with clear instructions on how to operate appliances and labels on the switches. Plenty of room for the family. Awesome game room. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens. Chris and Elina made the whole process incredibly smooth.

This is the easiest family getaway. The hosts have gone above and beyond to make it an easy to use hassle free house - labeling light switches to take away guess work, every outlet has childproof cover, amazing game room, easy to use smart TVs. You name it they thought of it! The location is great also for the amenities of the lake. Definitely recommend!

House was clean and beautiful! So many great memories were made with the kids. It was just what we needed. Also, being highly sensitive to smells I appreciate that this home seemed to use only natural products for cleaning. No weird smells and the temperature was always perfect thanks to the awesome ac units in every room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. Even more so than my kitchen at home. Really, don't bring a thing! I appreciated the house manual that explained everything you would need to know about the home. DISCLAIMER: For work I am a process and workflow consultant so I get excited about these things lol. Some days we didn't leave the house. Just relaxed and enjoyed the amazing game room together. Most other days were spent at the main pool and beach. Family had another house down the street and ours was 1000 times better. This is the one!

Our family of 4 has stayed at several vacation homes in the Pocono area, and this one was easily our favorite. Before we even arrived, I knew it was going to go smoothly because of all the detailed information that was sent to us ahead of time. Once we arrived, we fell in love right away. The house is beautiful, clean, and ready for you to really live in during your stay. The kitchen was truly fully stocked with high quality items. Every bedroom had an empty dresser, 2 bedside tables with lamps, and closet space to tuck things away. Plenty of linens and other listed amenities were provided. Even the water pressure in the shower was great! As we enjoyed our week there, we noticed so many other small touches in every room that were meant to make our stay easier and more comfortable. Our favorite part of this house was the screened in porch that allowed us to eat meals and hang out late into the evening without needing to worry about mosquitoes or other critters interrupting our fun. The community amenities are excellent. We spent most of our time at the smaller North Beach where our two young children could enjoy the water and sand without the crowds of the main beach. The owners were so helpful and replied incredibly quickly if we ever had a question or need. If I could give this home more than 5 stars, I would. If we come back to the area, we definitely want to stay in this house again!

We've rental several vacation homes through VRBO and the bar was set so high at The Woodview it's going to be difficult to top! The communication with the owners was fabulous, they kept us updated every step of the way. The house is gorgeous and spotless! We took away many decor ideas. Our children loved the downstairs game room, we played every night after dinner. Unlike many other rentals the beds were SO comfortable! Between the darkness, quiet, and the beds, we all slept so well! The community is so clean and has a lot to offer including 2 pools and beach access and much more. Within driving distance there are many places to hike trails and take in nature. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking, look no further and book this home!

We really enjoyed our stay here and the house had all the amenities that you would want. The owners were really responsive and provided plenty of valuable recommendations on things to do and places to eat. My wife loved the kitchen as well.

Chia and Elina were amazing hosts. Accommodating and communicative. The house was a great blend of comfy and posh. We loved the game room, and it kept us occupied with 5 kids for hours. The area is beautiful and quaint. We enjoyed walking by the lake, playing basketball at the rec center, and the ski hill.

We had a wonderful time. The house was as described and perfect for couples getting away for a few days. The house is in a neighborhood with 2 distinct entrances. The deck was a bit smaller than expected, but we didn't use it due to the weather. The game room in the basement was a wonderful addition! We would stay again!
