Im Badezimmer war es am Boden an einer Stelle immer etwas nass. Unser Zimmer war sehr einfach aber vollkommen ausreichend :)

Great location and hostel. The owner is super friendly and gave us a lot of tipps to discover the region. He even booked a tour and organized a guided bike tour for us. We felt like at home. It was great and we highly recommend this hostel.

All the staff has been incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I received a lot of tips for tours. The location of the accomodation is excellent- located in a safe area, close to the city center and with collectivos departing right behind the house. Every day the breakfast is freshly prepared based on personal preferences.

Everything is good, especially their service is quite good.

From the first moment on we felt very welcome at the Hostel. The owners and the staff are very nice, fluent in English and helpful with everything. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Furthermore evrything is clean and the place has a rooftop terrace and a table tennis. From the hostel it is approx. 5 minutes to the main street. We definitely recommend this hostel for a cozy and welcoming stay in Huaraz!

Very nice staff, good breakfast

Benkawasi hostel is a perfectly located accommodation, walking distance from the central square and all the great restaurants, coffee shops or even bus stations. The rooms are in perfect conditions, well equipped and super clean. The hostel counts with a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy an amazing view to the majestic mountains! And in top of all that, the owner; Benka as well as all the employees are such a lovely people, very helpful and attentive; providing all kind of helpful tips and advices, always making sure that you are going to have the best experience. Well, I stayed longer than I planned :) so I couldn’t recommend you better place to stay!

It was very cheap and the room was an okay size. Location is good.

Some of the staff here are useless and don't know how to communicate. As it was 11pm, we asked them to call us a taxi but they said it was impossible and we had to walk in the street to flag one down. Basic hotel service is seemingly impossible here. They also refused to accept a Peruvian bill that was taken without question elsewhere. We were allowed to take a room for a few hours as we waited for a bus. We were offered one rate and then when we returned after a trek, the price had gone up for no obvious reason. They also fixed the water without telling us leaving us in the shower with no water.

The owner was the most helpful guy. Letting us store our bags for free for 4 days, whilst we went trekking. Also allowing us to hang at at the hostel whilst waiting for a late night bus. A great guy. Thx U..

Nothing, I was very happy with the value.

Greatly located a short distance from the busy thoroughfares in Huaraz, this place is quiet, pleasant and very well kept. Rooms are appropriately endowed and those facing the park have a lot of light. Staff are excellent and friendly, they helped with early (packed) breakfast, advice and even an instant room change just upon my merely asking whether that could be fixed for my second stay (I was to return). Definitely recommended fro those looking for a quiet, but equally convenient stay in Huaraz.
