Accessibility to beach, 10 minutes away from great restaurants, great cleanliness, everything pre-arranged and planned

We enjoyed everything the house, neighborhood & village had to offer. House was clean, & spacious. The layout & decor was unique & enjoyable. The jukebox was dance party HQ! Definitely not the typical cookie cutter- plain Jane -bare bones rental unit. Even on our last day we were saying “did you see that…?” The art & collectibles were such a special touch. Beautiful uncrowded beach, we paid to heat the pool & were glad because the weather was cooler than we expected. Live music in the village gazebo in the evening while we had froyo & watched the sunset & boats. We vacation several times a year & I rarely take the time to leave a review- this home is exceptional.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was decorated in such a fun way making it unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. The location is close to town, close to the beach…ideal really.

We had a blast. The place is so cute, quaint and quirky. Lots of little nuances to get used to but easy to do. It was so spacious and roomy with a lot of places to hang out. The crows nest at night was incredible. We even got to see a satellite launch AND a fireworks show. Awesome!

The property was what we expected based on the listing and the property manager was responsive when we needed parking passes that weren’t found inside the home.

Great property and location. Terrible experience with Vacasa. Do not book anything through Vacasa and never will do it myself again.

Emil Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. A large family could have a very memorable vacation here. Good location. Good beach. Good times!

Great weather! Great location and the most amazing house! Everything was perfect and my family loved every second. The home has so much space and the kitchen is very nice. The bedrooms are great and the showers are the best part of each room. You won’t be disappointed with this house and the beach is so close. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

Three families traveled to SSI for our fifth trip together. We’ve stayed different places each time and Emil Cottage was our resounding favorite. Spacious, clean and great decor! Absolutely perfect, plus Ty was very responsive to a couple text questions we had for him. Five stars!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We had a great time at the Emil Cottage. Plenty of room for everyone. Large family areas for gathering. Decor was really cool. Property was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Emil Cottage! The home was very clean with nice furnishings. The kitchen was adequately stocked for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable for the most part. There is a 150 lb weight limit for the top bunk beds and this should be stated in the listing to help insure adequate bed space. We loved the beach, the community and the pools!! One of the AC units went out on our last day in the home. We phoned the management as soon as we became aware, 6 pm. They assured me someone would call me or show up at the house. I had to call them back at 9 pm since I hadn’t heard from anyone. They told me the repairman wouldn’t be there until the next day, after our check out. We were trying to rest before a 12 hour drive and the bedroom was 82 degrees!

10 of us stayed here the for a week including family from Georgia and New Jersey. The house was perfect and absolutely beautiful. I can't say enough about how charming this house is. Absolutely loved the jukebox. The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever experienced. Highly recommend. BTW if you are renting a golf cart, get gas rather than electric. There is nowhere to charge. Took a few weeks to get that answer from Vacasa. Just want to save others the trouble.

The house was amazing, a little bonus is the bar table on the rooftop patio which provides unobstructed views of the ocean. Easily accommodates 3 families of 4 since each bedroom has its own full bath.

We had 5 adults and 2 teenagers in the house, and there was room for more. There are ALOT of stairs in this style cottage so keep that in mind if you don't want to be climbing steps to get around. It was a short walk to the beach and pool, perfect for what we were looking for. We really enjoyed this stay and would go back again!
