This property is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. It also has chairs and umbrellas, which is nice as well. We’d definitely rent here again.

Such a wonderful location. The property is within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and several bars and restaurants. Enjoyed walking to an Italian cafe every morning for pastries and lattes. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive to questions. The unit comes with everything you need for the beach....cooler, chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. The beach chairs were in excellent condition! Small laundry room next to unit with laundry soap. The weather was terrible while we were there (25 inches of rain in a rare weather event). Thankful we had a nice place to stay during the storm. The courtyard was very nice and surprisingly quiet. I thought with the main road outside the gate we would hear the noise, but not the case. Overall a great place to stay especially if you like being able to walk around Lauderdale by the Sea. If you like Sunday brunch The Blue Moon Fish Company is a 5 minute walk and one of the best!

Great rental, great location. We had everything we needed for our week stay. A peaceful retreat in the middle of restaurants and shopping. Beautiful beach around the corner. The property was a short two minute walk to the beach. The home came with beach chairs, a cooler, towels, and anything else you may need for a day at the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The home was clean, welcoming and vary spacious. We cooked quite a bit at the home, and everything we needed was there. Our arrival plans changed last minute, and Jan and Tom were very helpful and communicated timely. We cannot thank them enough.

Enjoyed our stay for the Thanksgiving holidays. The location was perfect for our family and relatives who lived close by, and the walking proximity to the beach and nearby shops & restaurants was ideal.

This is a wonderful property!! I love the fact that each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The location is perfect!! Just a short walk to the beach and all the local restaurants. It's also just a short drive to everything else you might need.

The apartment was very nice. Very clean. Comfortable. Well equipped. The location was fantastic for walking to the beach and/or places to eat or have drinks. I am a guy and was there with 2 of my guy friends, so we could all go scuba diving. Each of us having our own bedroom and own bathroom was really great. A couple of things about the apartment that I didn't catch from the description. The apartment is located RIGHT ON Hwy A1A. Like, from the edge of the roadway, there is a sidewalk and then the bumper of your car, if you're parked in one of the spaces for the apartment. A1A is just 2 lanes with a low speed limit at that point. I was a little concerned at first, that it would be hard to get in or out of my parking space because of traffic. But, even though I was driving a full size pickup truck, it was never a problem. I was also a little concerned that I was parked right against the sidewalk where lots of random people were walking all day and night going to/from the beach/bars/restaurants. But, I had no issues at all. From the street, you go through a wooden privacy gate and fence into a courtyard with some outdoor chairs, a fountain, etc.. From the listing pictures, I was thinking that that courtyard would be private to my apartment. It is not. There are 3 (or 4?) units and they all share that courtyard. There is no lock on the gate, so, theoretically, anyone could come in off the street. But, nobody ever did, as far as I could tell. For me, it mainly just meant that my plan to leave wet scuba gear out there to dry was not to be. Also of note: The apartment has 3 bedrooms, but only includes 2 parking spaces. Fortunately, for me and my friends, one flew in and I picked him up, so we only had 2 cars to park. If you had more than 2 vehicles, parking for the extras could be a real pain, I think.

We had a very nice trip. The condo was perfect for our family both size and location.

We are 4 tired teachers that needed a beach vacation!! This home was the perfect place for us. Check in was was easy as pie! Tom and Jan are great to communicate and keep us updated as the day of check in got closer. The house has 3 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom! It made it so convenient for us all to get ready when coming back from the beach. The location of this home is so PERFECT!! Just around the corner are tons of shops, restaurants, and Sloan's ice cream!! We loved the Adirondack chairs and umbrellas on the street that we could just sit and visit and do a little people watching! The beach is just a short walk through the block. The beach is beautiful! There's a great reef to snorkel just a little way out. The house has beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, and beach towels. We had such an amazing time! Can't wait to head back for another visit! Tom and Jan made our stay perfect!!

The apartment was very clean. The location was great. Right in the middle of all the activity. Lots of places to walk and just a few steps from the beach. Property managers are personable and easily reached if necessary. A very positive experience. We will definitely return to this apartment.
