The property was beautiful, clean, and very convenient to area towns. The view was awesome. The owners were easy to communicate with. We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed going to Blue Ridge and Ellijay, but the fall leaves were much more vivid in Hiawassee. The sunrise was amazing over the mountains and lake. Everything was perfect for our little weekend getaway. We will be back.

As a previous owner - I was so thrilled to be back in this close to me heart home. Lovely accomodations, fabulous kitchen, and the quiet, peaceful setting is fantastic. I can not wait to go back!

Wonderful place to destress after Hurricane Ian...bed was very high in master bedroom.... 29 steps down to condo. But very clean and comfortable. Good location on the lake! Front and back porches were beautiful.

I spent a few days here by myself and felt safe. The property is clean and the view of the lake is spectacular. I enjoyed coffee on the back porch watching sunrises and sunsets. Easy walk to the pier for kayaking. I hope to return in the future.

We spent a lot of time on the deck, overlooking the lake, with a view of the mountains. Made our coffee and wine taste better. 😉

Stay was peaceful

Overall, this was a fantastic location and well equipped place. Traveling alone with family and friends visiting often, I was worried about being there alone. I always felt safe. I also want those that are choosing to work remotely, there was great internet service for live meetings. Dean was always in contact with me for any issues and resolved then with explanation. The Roost is in close proximity to town, waterfalls, trails and even a winery. Having brought a kayak, paddleboard and Bike, I was able to use both the paddleboard and kayak. However, The area was not the best for casual biking. I often took advantage of walking the neighborhood during my work breaks. I will definitely take advantage of a longer stay next summer to both work and play!! Elizabeth

We enjoyed our stay at the Roost!! This condo has everything you need! We enjoyed setting on the porch and floating in the lake! We did a lot of hiking in nearby parks! Hope to come back sometime in the future! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!!

The condo itself was very nice! It was well equipped with anything you could possibly need or want during your stay. The view of the lake from both the living room and the master bedroom was beautiful. Everything was clean and well furnished. Check in and check out process was flawless, however… As a first time VRBO renter I failed to do my research (that’s on me). There were several flights of stairs down to the condo and more to access the swim platform down at the lake. Which made it very difficult to access the condo coming in and going out (with my arthritic knees and hips). The bed in the master bedroom also had a VERY high antique bed which required a stool to access it for both me and my husband.

Amazing place will definitely be back

We lived on this lake for 7 years before moving back home. I was already very familiar with this neighborhood after building and working on several houses in the community. Always liked this area of the lake. Enjoyed our time relaxing in the condo. It was perfect for 4 adults. Communication with owner was great.

We spent Thanksgiving week in this Lovely condo on the lake. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped kitchen as far as utensils, cookware, etc are concerned. Fire pit was so nice to have just steps away from back porch. Beds were comfortable. Excellent wi-Fi connection which you don't always find in the mountains. Would highly recommend staying here for a week of R and R. Hope to go back in the summer.

This cabin/condo was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The views of the lake & mountains were beautiful, especially at sunrise.

We enjoyed the view from the back porch. It was secluded and provided a nice getaway. Close to many waterfalls and hikes. Little town nearby with dining options, grocery, gas, etc...

Of all the places we have rented for vacation, the Roost is the first one we've ever come back to. It has a very clean and friendly feel, an amazingly well equipped kitchen and a covered porch with cozy seating, dining and a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains beyond. Water sports and a gazillion good hiking trails close by. Great place.

Just a lovely condo, nice layout, everything was top notch and had EVERYTHING you would need . Great location as it didn’t take long to get to the trails, waterfalls and restaurants. The lake view was great, loved the sunrise! Just an awesome place, will be back.

The Roost remains one of the most well-appointed properties I have rented. Fully stocked, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Feels more like someone's home than a rental property. The swim dock is a new feature, but still didn't want to leave the porch. Easy access and close too town, this is a great and affordable find if you're looking for a trip to Hiawassee/Lake Chatuge.

Had a wonderful stay.

We had a great experience but did not know about the steps and someone possibly living upstairs. In the long run your steps provided exercise and the renters upstairs were extremely quiet. Interestingly they were from the same town in Florida. Please let us know if any homes near the lake come up for sale.

We have stayed here before and as always it was very clean and tidy. Just a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone.

If you need a few days of quiet, beautiful scenery and great accommodations this place is perfect! I will be back!

The accommodation were perfect! Very clean, organized and welcoming.

The decor in this property is beautiful, but the owners managed to keep the feeling very comfortable. They had many extra touches throughout, too, such as coffee pods for the Keurig. We sat for hours and hours on the porch relaxing and watching the lake and boaters. The location is convenient to many Blue Ridge Mountain activities. We loved it!
