The views of the lake and mountains was beautiful! We sat on the porch and enjoyed the views. Everything was nice and homey. Even had fresh flowers!

This property is wonderful and fully equipped. Having a dock right in the front yard is amazing. It's an easy walk to "town" and a new coffeee. shop. Communication with the owner was amazing, as always.

The amenities were as listed and it was a much needed getaway for myself and husband. Everything was perfect and the lake views were amazing!!!!

The actual property was better than the pictures. Totally relaxing, literally minutes to town, this property was fantastic. John was quick to respond to questions and we had a blast fishing and exploring the town.

Great location with it being so close to town but far enough away that it's quiet. The units are close to the lake and the view is awesome. The dock system is new and great for swimming. The unit itself had everything we needed and we would be happy staying here the next time. John is very attentive and likes to know everything is good for his guests.

We loved the location and the owner made sure the home was welcoming. Will be back!

Really enjoyed the stay. Very cozy. Neighbors around but quiet. Had considered staying in the woods but really liked sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake. The owner was very responsive

Wonderful

We have stayed in several places on Lake Chatuge over the past few years and having a dog and wanting a place to dock our boat has been somewhat challenging. This place not only checked the boxes for those items but it is so convenient to downtown. The grocery store is literally blocks away. Also of note is how clean it was and the kitchen was well equipped. The double porches are awesome and we had hummingbirds visiting every day. Plenty of fluffy oversized towels which is always a plus. We’ll be back next year!

We have coming to the area over the last ten years. This Townhouse has the best view of Lake Chatuge we have had. In addition the Townhouse was really set up well (5 stars). Also it was a extremely quiet. You can go wrong at this location, great restaurants and Ingles (food) close by. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS WE ONLY STAYED A WEEK. I hated giving this a five star rating because more people will want to stay there, leaving less time for us to rent.

Your condo added considerable joy to our lake/mountain break in Hiawassee. The place was clean as a whistle with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and, as advertised, we were in walking distance of Ingles and some shops. The great room and master bedroom much larger than they appeared in pics. Sitting on the dock of the bay was all that it’s cracked up to be! We each read a book from your library and appreciated the information provided about the area. This place was perfect! The view was worth it all. Mountains, lake, sun what more could anyone ask for! The condo was pristine and the owners had notes everywhere to make for well informed stay. We were right down the street from Intel’s, shops and restaurants. We loved spending the day on the dock. Soaking up the sun and lake breezes as well as floating in Lake Chatuge. We cooked in a night or two and the kitchen was well stocked with all necessary pots, pans and utensils. Thank you for keeping this place up to a 5 star standard!

Great stay. Beautiful views right on the lake, with views to tree-covered mountains. Very convenient to restaurants, groceries, coffee, etc. in Hiawassee. We enjoyed tubing on Brasstown Creek with the West Tubing Co. Property is very nice and set up well for renters.

When I found out I had an unexpected couple of days off from work, we decided to try to find a property in north GA for a short get-away. How fortunate we were to find this property on a fairly short notice! John is a wonderful communicator and was very prompt and thorough in getting back in touch with any questions we had. The property is in a quiet spot right on Lake Chatuge in a small complex of only 3 buildings, each with 3 townhomes. This townhouse is an end unit with easy access from the parking area to the front door. The minute we walked in, we knew we had made an excellent choice. The living room has a wall of windows looking right over the lake, so we were immediately drawn to the nice covered porch. The unit is squeaky clean with many lovely touches that made us feel right at home, including fresh flowers on our arrival. The kitchen is small, but has everything we needed for small meal preparation. There are lots of spices and a variety of teas to sample. Unlike most townhouses, the bedrooms are downstairs. The larger bedroom has a comfortable king bed on the lake side, and the smaller bedroom has 2 twin beds. A bathroom connects the 2 bedrooms; this would be ideal for a family, maybe not so much for 2 couples. There is a half bath upstairs. John has provided a book with restaurant suggestions. We ate at Enrico's the first night, which is a short drive to Young Harris, for an excellent meal of Italian cuisine. We had reservations for the seafood buffet at Brasstown Valley resort for the following night, but we enjoyed the porch so much that we decided to get take-out at Wild Hawg barbeque place nearby and enjoyed al fresco dining on the porch and watched the sun go down. We would like to have stayed another day, but since another guest was coming in, so we sadly packed up and left after a 2 night stay. We are already looking at dates to make a return visit soon. We only had one drawback, and this is nothing the owner could remedy. On our second night's stay, either a guest or owner was in the unit next door, and when they came out on their porch in the evening, we could hear every word of their conversation. There is a wall between the porches, so you can't see your neighbor, but we were certainly able to listen to what they had to say! Fortunately, it was just normal chatting, but maybe it could be a distraction for some. We considered that to be very minor, and can't wait to return.

We absolutely enjoyed our morning coffee, meals, and evening beverages out on the porch looking at the incredible view. The property was wonderful, we had everything provided that we could have possibly have needed! The check in and out process was easy too. I recommend this place for a family getaway, our dog loved it too! Hiawassee is an adorable town too, with cute boutiques and delicious restaurants.

Great getaway for a few days to Lake Chatuge. Loved the cozy house on the banks of the river! It had everything you need from all cooking equipment to toiletries. There are a number of wineries, hiking trails (to the waterfalls), and boat rentals very close by! We'll be back in the summertime to make the most of it!

Just magical! Our third stay at the Campbells and the best so far! Nicely decorated for the holidays and so inviting. The lake view is gorgeous even in winter. We had snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and, for this FL native, it was a dream come true. Highly recommend!

Second time stay and enjoyed the cottage just as much. Little slice of heaven to rest and rejuvenate! Will be back again!

This is our 3rd visit to Hiawassee and 2nd stay at John and Barbara’s condo. You cannot beat the view from this location. Absolutely gorgeous. The condo is clean, very well stocked and charming! We cooked quite a bit and had pretty much every pot, pan or appliance needed. There is even a fantastic electric tea kettle and nice assortment of teas available. The Campbells are the hosts with the mostest providing binders of recommendations of places to visit and restaurants. Much appreciated. Excellent WiFi signal if you need to work as I did. I spent a lot of my time on the porch swing though staring at the lake. Thanks again we cannot wait to come back.

My family and I were looking to get away for a few days during the crazy times of the summer. This was exactly what we needed. The view from the porch was perfect - I spent every morning and evening there taking in the view. John was very easy to get ahold of with any question we may have had. We definitely see ourselves returning in the future.

We were looking for a much-needed escape from the stess of this pandemic, and found John's home on the lake. It was so clean and well-kept, convenient location, beautiful view, tremendous access to the water (for swimming and boating), and had everything we could have needed and more. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This property far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful. The views from the condo and deck are breathtaking and swimming and floating off the dock was so fun and relaxing. This will most definitely be a return property for me!

The views and overall scenery was beautiful and relaxing. We are returning again this year.
