The house was good location for our family reunion. Communication was great however the cleanliness was subpar for sitting outside. The grill was totally rusted and unusable. This was very disappointing. The rooms on the lower level were so cold we had to go out and by 2 electric heaters. All the bedrooms had multiple lightbulbs out so we had to replace those. Kitchen needed cereal bowls. Dishwasher was very finicky with using. We had a good time and the beach was very nice!

The location and space was excellent. Our family had a great time being together. So close to the beach a huge plus. Special note that the owner was so thoughtful and made sure all necessities were provided. 100% everyone enjoyed their stay!

Our family of 14 had a great time for New Year’s in this house. We range in age from 6 to 74 and there was enough space for us to spread out when we wanted to and to be together when we wanted! Everything was perfect except the weather! We enjoyed deer sightings and walks on the beach.

Perfect location and the house was well designed and curated. We had an amazing stay and they were very responsive. The kitchen could’ve used a few more essential items but nothing that would knock off a star or anything. Loved our trip! Thank you!

We had a family gathering over a long weekend. We grilled, had a fire in the back pit, played games at the massive dining table, cooked in the extremely well-stocked kitchen, and gathered on the deck for drinks and snacks. Four of us swam in Lake Michigan; it was surprisingly warm, and the water was crystal clear. This is a terric home with a lot of accomodations.

Our family had a wonderful time! It was so nice to be right by the beach yet have room for fires at night. Our favorite place we've stayed on Labor day weekend yet!

Everything was perfect!

This lovely big house was clean and well supplied for cooking and feeding a big group. Easy access to the lake and a neighborhood park was a big plus. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but the property managers took care of it within hours. Great place for a family reunion.

Beds were great - very comfortable! Great location with Lake MI a short walk away. Easy day trip to Chicago on train from MI City. Great food store - Al's supermarket on Hwy 12 south to MI City. Watch out for deer crossing roads in neighborhood. Very peaceful & quiet neighborhood. Be sure & check out Oinks ice cream in New Buffalo.

Great location! Lots of space, inside and out, for our family of 12. Lovely views of Lake Michigan and just a short walk down to the beach. The home is on a street that dead ends at a beach access with no public beach parking, so it is very quiet. Large kitchen, great for cooking and hanging out. Big dining room table. Excellent laundry facilities. Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, updated baths. Very comfortable front room and front deck. Back yard is wooded and charming. Close walk or bike ride to a nice public park with tennis/Pickleball courts, bocce court and great children’s playground. Loved to ride bikes or walk/run along Lake Shore Drive as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home. Perfect location.

We came to Michiana to celebrate my son's wedding. Our family wanted to stay together and cherish this time before the wedding. The beach is literally just a few steps away and the view on the front porch is perfect for morning coffee and conversation. There was a huge limb that fell during a storm and the ice maker didn't work. HOWEVER, the manager was very responsive and took care of each situation quickly.

Great place for a golf reunion of senior aged high school friends.

My entire group and I LOVED our stay at the Chalet! Roxanne and Colin were both so helpful throughout our booking and stay. The whole property is gorgeous and they had everything we needed. We loved our winter time stay and are excited to come back during warmer weather.

This is our 4th time staying at this property, and it was wonderful as usual. Great location with sweeping views of the lake. Large house big enough for 10+ adults, and a great kitchen. The property managers are easy to work with and helpful. Strong recommendation!

This house is exactly as advertised. Very nice, roomy and full of appliances, dishware, etc. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the lake and literally about 200 steps from the beach. We had a wonderful time and appreciated the responsivness of the owners throughout the process!

The Chalet was a great house for our adult weekend getaway, and was steps away from the beach!

We selected this house for a family reunion weekend and had 8 adults and 7 children stay for a long weekend. The house is spectacular- stunning views all around and a stone's throw from the Lake and beach. The hosts are incredibly responsive and genuine in their wishes for a positive stay. My entire family was impressed- which is saying a lot- and we would absolutely stay at this gorgeous house again or at another property of the hosts. We had a wonderful time.

The family had a wonderful week getting together for my birthday! The only downside was how difficult it was for my husband and one daughter to manage the stairs and sand. Still, they would do it again, if Mom’s paying!!

We had a group of 13 that happily fit into this house. Multiple bedrooms spread across 3 floors including a finished basement.

The house is awesome for groups! You can't beat the location - steps from the beach. The house has plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, a great floorplan with a big kitchen, backyard & back deck, front deck, plenty of great spots to hang out and enjoy the house. Couldn't ask for more!

We had an amazing time at the chalet. The house is the perfect property for a family getaway. Quick and easy access to the beach, quiet neighborhood, great layout and plenty of bedrooms. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay along Lake Michigan.
