Great stay - I highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this property. It was perfect for our family reunion. The place was beautiful, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect. We hope to visit again!

Everything we needed to enjoy a quick trip. Best beach we have been to.

We had such a great week at this house! The space is beautiful indoors and out. We were able to take nice walks each day, enjoy the beach, and the incredible screened-in porch. It was the perfect retreat to celebrate my husband and I's anniversary. Lots of cool restaurants to visit in both New Buffalo & Michigan City. The neighbors were very friendly, safe neighborhood, all around great stay. Jack was very kind, and even offered recommendations on restaurants. This is a place we'd love to stay again.

Very nice property. Worked well for our kids/grandkids (and grandparents loved having guest house as our getaway when needed!). House newly remodeled with very nice bathrooms. Had minor lock issue that owner handled immediately. Great screened in porch, fire pit, playground equipment for kids. Nice to have golf cart as well. Can highly recommend.

A great facility for a family of kids, parents and grandparents. Amazing kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare meals for the family.

The house is pretty true to the pictures. Everything is done beautifully, the decor definitely has a designer’s touch. I would say the winding stairs was a challenge to my two son in laws who are over 6’ and had to duck going up and down as to not bump their heads. The bedrooms upstairs are on the small size but the beds were comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the guest house above the garage. It was super cute and perfect for us to have our own retreat. Anytime we had a problem Jack addressed it immediately, providing more firewood and fixing an issue with the hot tub. We loved our stay here and would recommend it with 5 stars!

My friends and I had the most amazing stay at this gorgeous property! It is without a doubt the most aesthetically pleasing home I’ve ever seen. Jack & Ella were SO kind and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. I wish I could have stayed forever, 10/10 recommend!!!

Had a wonderful time at Jack’s property. With the main house and guest house, this was the perfect setup for us. My 17 yo daughter and friends loved the golf cart and hot tub, and cooking elaborate meals in the beautiful kitchen. I loved the tasteful and peaceful decor of the guesthouse and enjoyed daily walks to the beach nearby. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

This is a beautiful property and Jack and Ella have put their heart into a gorgeous place. I will add that Jack was responsive when I let him know about the first two of these issues, but the rest just weren’t worthy of calling in for disturbing our stay. That said, the property should be functioning and immaculate at this price, and I know Jack is committed to addressing these issues. It would have been even better if: the mountains of trash from the prior guests hadn’t been overflowing their trash cans and strewn across the back deck when we checked in (quickly remedied by Jack, thanks!); the hot tub hadn’t had some gross scaling (green slime) along its edges (it was chemically clean and had been treated but we had to wipe the slime off the edges and there was sediment on the seats); the fireplace was usable (Unfortunately the prior tenants had also lit a fire in the fireplace using real materials and thus made using the gas fireplace inoperable); the guest house were in shape (the last guests also made inoperable the bedroom door in that house and knocked off the kickplate under the sink); the main house downstairs lighting all worked (in the main hall, the lighting didn’t work in half the downstairs); the front porch light were able to be turned off inside ( we had to unscrew the porch light to turn it off at night because there was no switch and none of the upstairs rooms had curtains (and the downstairs are only sheer.). Ah, and the teapot leaked all over when poured. It is a fantastic location; and when everything is in working order I’d bet it’s magnificent fun with friends given the great outdoor dining and recreation spaces. But the mess, the slime, the no fireplace, the hanging fire alarm in the first floor master and the oddly placed (unwatchable from-the-couches) tv just meant that winter time, for our small party we would choose a different property next time at a lower rate.

Great place to stay for a much needed getaway. House was beautiful and the guest house was an added bonus.

Beautifully designed. We had a wonderful time with our 7 year old boys staying over Christmas.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very tastefully decorated and very private. The outdoor areas were perfect to enjoy good conversations by the campfire and relax in the hot tub after a good steak dinner from the grille. The property owner was responsive and flexible. We will certainly stay here again in the summer months.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this property. The house is beautiful. My husband and I stayed in the house with our three daughters while my parents stayed in the guest house above the garage. Even with the chilly temperatures there was plenty to do outside - fire pit, golf cart rides, a near by park, checking out the lake. We got take-out from some good restaurants in New Buffalo and walked along the beach there. In a year when we couldn’t spend time with extended family - this ended up being a great substitute!

An incredible redesign of this house. Perfect for a few families with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Owner could not have been more helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

The location is great along with the two buildings on the property. We loved the backyard and the outdoor porch with the swing. We spend most of our time out there. The house is well equipped and the kitchen is nicey redone. We had a couple of issues on our stay - the first was the hot tub was completely trashed from a previous group an unusable. While there were bikes, some had flat tires or didn’t really work. Also it would have been nice to have window treatments in the bedrooms. With a 6 month old this made naps difficult. Suggestion to owners the on bedding - sheets and comforters had a febreeze smell. Might be wise to use scent free as many guests are sensitive to scents. Overall positive experience though and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. 3 children ages 11-16 and my husband and I. This is absolutely a gorgeous property ~truly a home away from home. Top quality decor and materials were used throughout this lovely home and Coach House. We can’t. Wait to return nothing was overlooked.

A great family get away. The cottage & guesthouse were a perfect fit for our family of 6. The amenities were great with separation for quiet times along with a golf cart, bikes, one tandem bike, hot tub, fire place and very comfortable accommodations. You will be sure to relax & enjoy you time.
