The views from this beautiful bungalow will just captivate you! We found ourselves hanging out just enjoying this quiet, peaceful place. The bungalow was just perfect for our stay. Beds were very comfortable and clean. All the amenities you need to cook, eat, and bath were made available. The location of this little dreamcatcher was just perfect from whale watching tours, fishing, kayaking, shopping, dining, and horseback riding!! You can just relax and watch the boats come in! Lovely place to stay with amazing views over the estuary to the mountains opposite. Convenient place to be based for trips to Geosea and the Diamond Circle. It was about -5 when we were there and the cabin was very warm. We found that the hot pot didn't get warm enough to use.

We pretty much enjoyed our stay. From the rooms, terrace and hot pot you have view to the sea/fjord with marvellous sunsets, cruise-ships passing by etc. Good technical equipment including dish washer, internet-PC. Perfect wifi. Good base camp for activities around Akureyi, Husavik and (with 90 minutes drive) also in the Myvatn region.

We chose this spot to close out our 2 weeks trip to the Westfjords and Northern Iceland looking for a remote, but not too remote place with a hotpot. The place shiwes to be exactly as described (which is perfect in this case), well equipped, classic clean design, glass fronts to enjoy the amazing fjord view, and an easy step by step instruction on how to set up the Hotpot. Filling it takes some time, so no impromptu soaking, but getting it started while preparing dinner is sufficient. Communication was clear and comprehensive, all necessary information incl advice for trips in the area was shared upfront. This place is really wonderful, we will comeback an bring our kids next time.

This property is everything we dreamed it would be and more. The views are incredible, the property immaculate, and the hot pot? Ohhh, so fabulous after a chilly day in North Iceland. Nollur is the best introduction to Iceland and we loved it. Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven!

The place was clean and cozy. The views were awesome and it was peaceful. I loved the hot pot! It does take some time to fill, so plan accordingly. It does not have a grill. Some things like salt or pepper would be nice to have there, but overall it was very nice.

We stayed in the Sulur house and it was incredible. The view spectacular, and we actually saw a whale come by. I mean this place did not disappoint. The hot pot was great and bed so comfortable I really can’t say enough about how this place nade our time in Iceland a great experience. We stayed 3 of our 8 nights here and it was our absolute best experience.

loved everything about it. Being able to remotely turn on the hot tub would be nice, but once you know the timing it's easy enough to plan around.

We stayed here for a week in Nov 2022. The house is very nice, includes all that you need. We enjoyed sitting on the couch and look at the breath-taking views and cook our own meals in the kitchen. Communication and check-in with the owner was easy. We'll definitly try to come back here in summer.

Very comfortable, only difficulty was in using the hot tub. It was extremely heavy to lift up the covers and we only managed it once with help. The view was gorgeous.

Beautiful views of the fjord, but the hot tub is very slow filling and full of debris. No washer/dryer, but other amenities were fine. Definitely best for small groups with less than three adults.

Our second stay at Nollur. It is an amazing place to stay, and we enjoyed every minute! Communication with Thomas and Anna was terrific, and the view of the fjord cannot be beat.

This place was very cute. Looks exactly like the photos and the hosts were very nice. They were hard to get ahold of though. For the high cleaning fee, I wish we did not have to take out the trash or remove the bed sheets etc but it was fine. We also could not use the hot tub because it was dirty and I did not have cleaning supplies.

Home was as photographed, just plus loads of snow! Was a lovely house stay. Is a bit of a drive outside (as described) outside of Akureyi. Important to make sure you bring supplies for the kitchen. And if driving in winter, best to plan your drive up to the house according to checking the weather and ice. Stated by other people on vrbo, but door key does not seem work. I have run into this with quite a few homes so far in Iceland. Overall lovely home and hosts!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Nollur! The hot tub was a huge plus, you just have to make sure to give yourself a couple hours to let it fill up all the way. Location was perfect; we didn't see the northern lights but had some gorgeous sunrises/sunsets! Highly recommend staying at Nollur!

As last time we really enjoyed our stay in Nollur. Even if Sulur is smaller than Kaldbakur (our last stay) it offers everything needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, cleanliness of the house quiet environment and the view at the fjord. Hope we will get an occasion to come back some day.

Amazing view, short drive to Akureyri. I gave three stars for cleanliness cause the toilet was not flushed when we checked in, for such a high end place this is a no no. If they didn’t pay attention to the toilet what else was missed, makes you gross out upon entry which is not good. Everything else was clean so I am trying to be fair but my expectations where high from Nollur. The hot tub was a trouble , it takes for ever to fill up with water. This was not clear on the listing, on the house instructions upon checking it said 90 min to fill I waited about 2 hours and it was only half full, so I drained it and couldn’t even enjoy it. This part I was looking forward to do to sit there and enjoy the view so I was disappointed. We were going around and touring the area , it is impossible to sit for 4 hours to wait for a hot tub to fill. I had been in other places in iceland where I find it ready and prepared by the owner before our arrival and i get to enjoy it immediately after taking a shower. Nice place but didn’t meat my expectations
