Lovely Hotel. Have stayed numerous times but this visit, it seemed to havel lost its shine.

Staff didnt want to be there. DO NOT prepay for breakfast. It is cheaper to pay at restaurant! Paying an xtra $35.00 for parking a little bit rude.

The facilities were excellent. It was a little further out from the city area than I expected. It was about a 20-minute walk. Parking was easy with access to "free" valet service. Really appreciated the assistance of the staff while we were there.

Rooms were extremely well appointed and perfect sized for two people. Perfect walking distance to everything in City Center, all restaurants and entertainment. Also extremely easy to get to from the Airport there and back on bus 29. Amenities such as espresso pods and tea, milk and sugar in the room made the morning and evening easy. We also enjoyed the free laundry in the 4th floor and we were able to do a quick load. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and knew how to help us get around and get quickly into our rooms when we arrived early.

Staff just opened the car without any notification to remove our luggage, taking out bags that did not need to be removed. Took too long for bags to follow us up to the room, would have preferred to take them ourselves. Phone in room did not work properly, and communicating with reception was poor. We requested and paid for late check out, but no one informed us the current room cards we had would expire at normal check out, surely this could have been communicated when the late checkout was organised. Our room was on the top level and we could hear a noisy air con unit rattling on and off all night, made it very hard to sleep as the noises were taht loud they kept waking us up.

Fantastic accomodating and very friendly staff. I nervously asked for a room change and was very sympathetically and positively responded to. There was nothing wrong with my original room, however it had no aspect, view or sun and as we were staying for two nights I thought I'd ask if a change was possible. The hotel receptionist Lorine, was fantastic and made a very special effort to make the change possible. I am very grateful.

The room was very small, could barely walk around the beds. No room for luggage.

Location was great, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit. We managed to omit having a hire car (and saving lots of money) because it was so central. The staff were always so lovely and welcoming and we especially loved the complimentary potato chips and shower steamers. That was a really nice touch. We were close to some amazing food restaurants too.
