We stayed a week at this property. It is exactly as advertised and actually exceeded our expectations. Our hosts Eneko and Gotzone were incredibly helpful and responsive - even helping us secure a return visit . The location is exceptional - right on the boardwalk and close to 2 small, quiet beaches with water calm enough for little kids to play safely. There are many great restaurants to visit with groceries within walking distance. Can’t say enough about this place! This was our first stay with VRBO and it will be hard to top. Looking forward to being back!

Everything, everything about this condo was fantastic. Gotzone and Eneko were wonderful to work with and so very, very accomodating. The location was perfect for us as we walked the boardwalk for dinner at night, and used our car for trips around the island and to beaches. Our visit to Barbados was made more enjoyable because of this condo and Gotzone and Eneko. We could not have asked for anything more. Thank you, thank you!

My son and I stayed here for 7 days, it is an amazing condo with a great view of the ocean. The location is perfect with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The villa cupboards are well-stocked, We never got to meet Gotzone or Eneko but our schedule prevented that but Gotzone was very responsive to all out requests in a timely manner. I wpold definitely stay at here again. Thank you Gotzone and Eneko.

This is such a beautiful gem of a place to stay in Barbados. The hosts are MORE than accommodating in every way. Very quick to respond about any and all requests or recommendations. I would definitley be back, we had the best time and absolutely loved everything about the condo, the location, the cleanliness and the vibes were immaculate.

This is a great villa in a great location! We stayed as a family of 4 for almost 2 weeks over the holidays. The location is great and is seconds from the beach and is right along the Boardwalk and walking to distance to many great restaurants, shops and close to Lantern's Mall. The villa itself is roomy, spacious and clean. It has great wifi and a well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a home away from home. However the best part of this unit is the truly magnificent view when you open the doors to the ocean. We enjoyed just sitting there and listening the waves crash on the shore and watching the sunrise and sunset. We cannot say enough about the hosts, from our pre-planning phase to when we were on vacation they were truly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Thank-you very much Gotzone and Eneko for making this a great trip!

We just stayed at the condo for a week with our 1 year old. The location was perfect for us with a calm inlet and quiet beach right outside. The condo is very comfortable and cozy and the view is amazing! We will miss it! I would recommend this condo if you are a couple without kids or if you have kids. It is roomy enough for children but also cozy enough for a romantic getaway. The boardwalk right outside is nice as well for morning strolls. Many great restaurants nearby and a pretty central location on the island.

This little piece of paradise exceeded our expectations. After doing extensive research, this villa checked off everything on our list and was even better than expected. If you want a nice clean villa, ocean front with beach access, within walking distance to many ocean side restaurants AND reasonably priced then this is the right place to be. Bring your snorkelling gear too because you will see several species of fish just a few steps from the villa. We even saw a sea turtle. Thank you Gotzone and Eneko for making our stay memorable. You were fantastic hosts and we truly enjoyed every moment.

This property is outstanding. What you see in the pictures is exactly what the property is like, beautiful ocean front condo with lots of room and well maintained. The pantry and linen cupboards are well stocked, just need to bring your swim suit and toothbrush! The hosts are very responsive and helpful, they take great care of their guests to ensure you enjoy your stay. The location is perfect with shopping and restaurants within walking distance, no neec to rent a car. I highly recommend South Ocean Villa.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view can’t be beat and the condo is very well equipped. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance and the mini bus can get you to a grocery store very easily. The boardwalk starts at the property and will take you to Rockley Beach which has loungers for rent and bar and food options. We’ve been to Barbados many times and loved this condo for the convenience, ambiance and amenities. We hope to be back!!!

A spacious apartment with all amenities, on the beach and right on the boardwalk. After many years of coming to Barbados, we would be hard pressed to think of a better location. Gotzone and Eneko we excellent hosts and ensured our stay went smoothly, they went above and beyond what we would have expected. The apartment is modern, bright, light and breezy with amazing views. We cannot speak highly enough of its benefits.

We had an amazing time in Barbados and I can 100% attribute that to our host Gotzone. We were visiting Barbados for fertility treatment at the local fertility center which is just a five minute walk from the Villa, so very convenient if you’re a client there. Gotzone stayed in contact throughout the whole stay and made us feel at home. We stayed for two days right down the street at the Coconut Court, Hotel to wait out our quarantine. Gotzone was at the Villa doing some final preparation before we checked-in and offered to come pick us up from the hotel and drive us to the Villa. Who does that? It was so nice of her and saved us from lugging our bags through the streets and paying for a cab. The villa was so beautiful! We couldn’t ask for a better view of the ocean. Because the villa is at the end of the boardwalk it was very quiet and we felt as if we had multiple beaches to ourselves. The building was very secure with coded access. The villa was stocked with anything you needed. We had multiple times where we thought to ourselves oh man I wish we had X, and wouldn’t you know we found every little thing in the Villa that we needed. I got a sunburn and forgot aloe. There was aloe in the refrigerator. We bought cigars but forgot cutters and matches. We found both in the drawers. We were able to cook most of our meals to save some money since we were staying for quite some time. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and spices. We got a little lazy with cooking and ended up with quite a few grocery items left when we left. Gotzone donated the food to local families who were impacted by COVID-19 and I thought that was brilliant and heartwarming. We have some travel issues along the way because my sister and mother had an extended quarantine and our flights were canceled a few times during our stay which caused me a little stress but Gotzone and Eneko were so easy going with moving dates for us. They just wanted us to relax and make the most of the very short precious time away from the stresses of the world. We will be back!

All of the other assessments of this property and location are spot on. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. With one of the most attentive and caring hosts I have ever encountered. I was there with family and friends and everyone had an amazing time. I use an electric wheelchair and found the place great for my personal needs - message me privately for details. I really cannot say enough about this place. I can't wait to come back.

Our family of 5 stayed in Eneko's condo for a week. With the pullout couch, everyone was comfy. My husband said the pullout couch was the most comfortable pullout mattress he has ever slept on! There is a queen bed in the master, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a queen pullout couch. Both bathrooms are modern and nice. The whole condo is decorated very nicely and is very comfortable. This is a gated building so we felt very secure here. The condo is steps from the beach and also has a nice little shady pool on the terrace. There are also two beach chairs, an umbrella and other beach necessities at the condo. They even have a very well-stocked first aid kit in the master bath. They really thought of everything a family might need when in a foreign country. Eneko's mum, Gotzone, was in contact with us every single day (sometimes multiple times during the day) providing directions, recommendations, reservations, reputable taxi services, etc. She really helped ensure that we all had a fantastic vacation and that all our needs were met. She is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend staying in that condo just because of her because you simply can't beat having a "local" give you all the information you need to navigate the island and all of the things to do there. I recommend stopping at the grocery store on the way to the condo from the airport to stock up on things you'll need for breakfast, lunch, etc. or Gotzone can have those items there for you if you give her some notice. If you bring snorkel gear, there are fish right off of the beach in front of the condo that you can see. BRING LOTS OF SUNBLOCK! If we could, we would come back to this condo every year. The only thing that I would say is to either rent a car or be prepared to take taxis almost everywhere, which can get expensive; however, we always were able to call and get a taxi within minutes any time we needed one. There is no Uber in Barbados. For a family of 5, we needed to get a van every time. There isn't really a decent grocery store within walking distance of this condo, although there is a convenience store, wine shop, etc., but I found the convenience store was out of stock on things like paper towels, produce, milk, etc. There are a few restaurants on the nice little boardwalk that runs in front of the condo on the beach side, and I recommend you make reservations early in the day for those as they fill up fast.

Condo is spacious with a nice patio and balcony. It does not require much A/C as you can create a nice breeze by opening the balcony door in the living room. Eneko and Gotzone are easy to communicate with! Thanks for hosting us!

This condo was amazing for my family. We enjoyed 10 wonderful days in Barbados and had everything we needed in our Condo. Firstly, our host arranged for our pick up at the airport. Duane is an amazing taxi driver and very knowledgeable of the area. Upon arrival entrance into the condo was very simple and easy. the place is exactly as the pictures with all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. There was a welcome kit with information regarding the condo along with other things to do and restaurants in the area. There was also "Rum Punch" for us to enjoy. The view is breathless and the sound of the ocean at night is surreal. Beach and pool area was also kept clean and not crowded. Many things to see and restaurants within walking distance. We hope to come back and visit soon. Thank you Gotzone and Eneko for the great hospitality.

We have vacationed in Barbados 4 times in the last 6 years, always on the South Coast. This year, we discovered 201 South Ocean Villas. We will be back next year for sure! Perfect location, great condo that is very well equipped. Tastefully decorated, very well maintained with a beautiful view. The owners, Eneko and Gotzone, are perfect hosts. We spent 6 nights here and it was pretty much perfect. The setting was so lovely, opening the windows onto the balcony every morning to see the beautiful Caribbean sand and sea. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable and was equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The owners were very happy to provide any information we needed about cabs/car hire/buses etc, also about days out around the island. The local area has plenty of bars and restaurants so most evenings we just strolled along the boardwalk and stopped at a bar on our way out to eat. All in all, we loved it!!

This place is heaven. The condo is fantastic and in the best location. Eneko and Gotzone are the best hosts you could ever want to deal with. They answer every question and offer advice on the area regarding tours and places to eat. They make you feel welcome and feel like family. It was a sad day when we had to leave. We stayed for a month and would have loved to stay longer. We would highly recommend this condo for a place to stay. We will definitely return. Thanks for the rum punch and the banana bread. This property exceeded all of our expectations! The condo is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities of home. The view is spectacular, and the location is ideal - close to shops and fabulous restaurants. Eneko and Gotzone are wonderful warm hosts who made us feel like family. They literally thought of everything to make our vacation absolutely perfect. Unfortunately for us, the condo is already booked for next year, but we have secured our stay there for 2021! This has got to be one of the best holiday experiences we have had in all the years of travelling the world. The apartment is even better than the photos and that sight of the sea from the living room and the most fantastic breeze that only comes from Barbados makes it an unforgettable experience. Eneko and Gotzone are two of the nicest people you can meet and their rapid response to any questions, issues etc is second to none. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Wow! what an amazing vacation ! The location is the best, the beach is great , we are at the end of the boardwalk. The condo is incredible, very secure, very clean, the decoration is so tasteful. The condo is situated in an area with a lot of restaurants, bars and a small market. The condo was very well stocked with all you would need. Eneko and Gotzone were so helpful from before the departure in organizing pick up and during the vacation if we had any questions they were always available and answered right away. We will definitely go back what a great time we had. thank you.

Awesome property, comfortably fit 4 and was well stocked with items you need (coffee, beach chairs, etc) Location is great, right on the boardwalk. The beach was fantastic with walking distance to other beaches near by. Eneko was a fabulous host and was available if anything came up. He also had good recommendations for taxi/tours and restaurants. He was Awesome. Great place to stay in Barbados and I would highly recommend it. We had a wonderful Holiday vacation there and look forward to returning ! P.S. Highly recommend Tapas Restaurant and go to Oistins for Fish Fry !

Another fantastic Barbados vacation. This is our third trip to the beautiful island where you can experience excellent food, the welcoming ocean and glorious sunny days. From our initial contact to after our departure Eneko and Gotzone provided us with excellent communication and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was one to be remembered. The condo was clean and well appointed, they arranged for a cab to pick us up, the entry instructions were clear and the welcome instructions were very helpful. This two bedroom condo is fantastic with a boardwalk steps from the building, a pool and sun deck with spectacular sightlines of the ocean and the view from the condo is magazine worthy. Looking forward to our next visit already.
