My wife and I have been to Eleuthera many times and got to bring two of our closest friends with us this time. Moonflower is spacious, airy, and well laid out for multiple couples. There's enough room to have privacy and come together in the common areas to have a good time. The entire process from reservation to (sadly) leaving and check-out was phenomenal and seamless. The house was so well kept, maintained, and clean that it felt welcoming every time we entered. Geeta and Christina were fantastic to communicate with when we had a couple questions. When a storm blew through for two days, it still felt like paradise because of how comfortable Moonflower was. While the house is a short walk (maybe 50-60 feet?) from the beach over a small rise, it made things feel more private and special. The gardens and landscaping around Moonflower were nice to walk through and just soak in the sights, smells and sounds. Secluded in the back is a private gazebo to read and enjoy some peace and quiet to doze in the sun away from others. Gaulding Cay beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and easily accessible. Snorkeling around the Cay itself was great at high tide as all the schools of fish came in. All the other diverse fish, sea fans, corals, and sponges just add to the experience. It was resolved by the end of the day. We absolutely loved the location of the Moonflower. Gaulding Cay was our favorite beach. We enjoyed a day trip to Harbor Island. The Beaches of Eleuthera book at the house was very helpful, we visited quite a few of the top ranked beaches and loved them. The house was average clean. We did have issues with mice. We had a bag of chips closed on the countertop that got chewed on, so we put all our food in the refrigerator and were very prompt to take out the trash. We did end up catching mice in the bottom of our trash can. The island is not heavy with tourists. Many times we had beaches to ourselves. The WIFi was spotty and we didn’t find anything on TV which our teenagers didn’t enjoy, but it was actually not a bad thing if you are looking to “unplug”.

My family enjoyed our stay at the Moonflower! Beautiful location! We loved the location and all of the amazing things to see on this beautiful island. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

When we checked in it was exceptionally clean. The beds & bedding were comfortable, the kitchen had plenty of dishware, and the layout & location could not be better. You can walk right out to the beach in seconds and watch the sunset from the side porch. Do be aware that things like dishwashers and electricity don't always work perfectly in the Bahamas. And while we enjoyed many quiet times with no or few people on the beach, on two out of our 10 evenings there were parties in the parking area/pine grove which is between the house and beach. Fortunately, the participants were well behaved and left after the sun set. This is a wonderful place for children who enjoy sand and water activities. And for adults, too. We enjoyed snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking in the calm, clear water while the kids loved being in their floats. Moonflower, Gaulding Cay, and Eleuthera are paradise!

We were 4 adults and 5 kids and I can say we were never felt like we were on top of each other. There was tons of room and the layout of the house is perfect for accommodating bigger groups very comfortably. Lady Di was great, and made our arrival memorable. The house is breathtaking and spotless! . The location is also beyond perfect. We have been to the Bahamas a few times now and Gaulding Cay beach is quite possibly the best beach I’ve seen yet. Absolutely calendar perfect, and ideal for kids seeing it remains shallow for hundreds of feet. At low tide you can actually walk cove to cove. The snorkeling is awesome too! Daddy Joe’s is a fantastic little restaurant across the main road , fabulous food, drinks, and people! The Bahamian people are reason enough to visit these quiet islands, you would be hard pressed to find a more welcoming people anywhere! We cannot recommend Geeta’s Moonflower enough, if you are looking for laid back, peaceful, and breathtaking then this house, and Eleuthera, are for you!

The Moonflower was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Directions to the house were accurate and easy to follow. The house was representative of the pictures and the content list. The grill apparently takes charcoal, something we didn't have but could have gone to the grocery store to get. I contacted Lady Di a couple times during our stay and she was quick to respond. We did see locals hanging out on the public beach In front of the house and none of them were an issue. From reading other reviews we need to expect that this was not a private beach and that was okay with us. A few people per day came. There are several neighbors who own dogs and they are all very friendly. I was able to drag a straight back chair down to the beach each morning to enjoy my coffee. All of the other lounge & reclining chairs around the house and at the far end of the property under a gazebo were chained with padlocks so I couldn't move them. For an island that boasts near 0% crime, the message that chained up chairs send is that this is not a safe place. It wasn't just inconvenient. I don't suppose it mattered because there weren't any cushions. It was appreciated that there was plenty of snorkel equipment available so we cleaned some off and used it. Next time we are on Eleuthera we would definitely consider staying at the Moonflower again.

We had a wonderful week at Moonflower. We travelled with three adults and three children, ages 9, 6, and 4. The house is very spacious and there was plenty of room for everybody. It's also very close to the beach. The pictures made it a little hard to tell just how close the beach is, but it's literally in the front yard. The beach was absolutely beautiful and we spent most of our time swimming and playing in the sand. The water was extremely calm and clear, almost like a swimming pool. It was great for our smaller kids, but if you enjoy boogie boarding or body surfing, you'll have to take a day trip to a different part of the island. The house shares a public beach access, so it got a little busy in the afternoons, but everyone that we encountered was extremely friendly. The house had plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils, and we cooked all of our meals at the house. The caretaker, Lady Di was very welcoming and gave us a few pineapples that she grew herself. They were the best pineapples we've ever had! The house was a little warm when we arrived, but it cooled down quickly and stayed nice and cool for our entire stay. Drinking the tap water isn't recommended, so the house comes with a dispenser and a 5 gallon water bottle. We only had about 3/4 of a bottle to start, and our family went through almost a whole 5 gallon bottle each day, so we had to make multiple trips to the store to get more water. The house has wifi, but it runs off of a mobile hotspot, so it's pretty slow. During our stay we took trips to the Queen's Baths, Preacher's Cave, and we also took the ferry over to Harbour Island. All of those places were incredible and highly recommended! Overall, it was an amazing trip, and we'd definitely stay at Moonflower again.

It offers a well equipped kitchen and plenty of linens and towels. For outdoor fun they provide rafts, chairs and even 2 nice kayaks. On the rare occasion we had to contact the manager someone responded quickly.

If you want to lower your blood pressure and have your toes in the sand from sun-up to glorious sun-set, this is the spot for you! It was the perfect beach house for our party of 8 (four couples, all family). We can't wait to return!

What a great beach for him. No waves-just clear, warm, shallow water to play in. The house itself was great with A/C in each bedroom and in living areas. We enjoyed the benefits of having a grill in the backyard and a washer/dryer available for our use.
