Fabulous location! Spacious apartment in an old building, entered from a narrow lane just off Schwartzstrasse in the Altstadt (east of river). Great view of the Hohensalzburg fortress and glimpses of the river, and you can see Cafe Bazar from the living room, so you can check how busy it is before heading out! Very close to the Mozart Wohnhaus, the Mirabell Garden (as seen in "The Sound of Music") and several theatres including the Marionettentheater, plus great shops, restaurants and other cafes. The apartment was furnished with quirky antique furniture and had great amenities inc. washing machine. Would try to stay here again.

No lift... so we were glad to be on the first floor up and not the second! But it's a small price to pay... Kitchen facilities fairly minimal - in particular, no oven, only a microwave (but we've encountered that elsewhere in Austria, not sure why - it would be handy to be able to heat up a frozen pizza).

Wir sind zu einem dinestlichen Termin angereist und fanden die Wohnung sehr leicht. Die Wegbeschreibung und auch die Übermittlung des Türcodes funktionierte sehr reibungslos. Nette Kommunikation und super unkomplitziertes System über WhatsApp. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und es war angenehm eine Küche, einen grossen Eingangsbereich, ein Esszimmer, ein grosses Wohnzimmer und auch ein schönes Schlafzimmer zu haben. Das Bad ist auch geräumig und die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt in der Wohung nichts, was man sich noch wünschen könnte. Die Lage der Wohung ist sehr zentral und von dort aus konnten wir wie geplant die Termine im Rathaus und in der Botschaft gut erreichen.

Wir hatten uns sehr gefreut, einen entspannten Aufenthalt zu planen, da wir auf einen reibungslosen Ablauf angewiesen waren. Leider konnten wir absolut nicht schlafen, da alle Räume der Wohung zur sehr befahrenen Strasse ausgerichtet sind. Es war sehr laut und die Fenster haben den Lärm der Strrasse nicht abgehalten, die Wohnung war auf 26 Grad erwärmt und durch eine Fussbodenheizung konnten wir in 3 Tagen die Temeratur einfach nicht drosseln. Die Fenster kann man nur schwer öffnen und der Lärm ist geöffnet und geschlossen unerträglich. Besonders am Abend waren wir zudem von ca. 21.00 Uhr bis in der Nacht um 2.00 Uhr durch sehr laute Musik aus einem Lokal / Beer Lounge oder Döner Shop nebenan wiederum gestört. Leider war das Gefrierfach im Kühlschrank nicht zu nutzen, da die Türe zerbrochen ist und auch Flaschen konnten nicht gelagert werden, da die Regale in der Innentüre alle fehlten und zerbrochen im Inneren des Kühlschrankes lagen. Duschbefestigung ist nicht in der Wand verankert und die Badezimmertüre ist durchsichtig und schliest nicht richtig- das ist etwas unangenehm. Schimmel an den Fensterecken im Schlafzimmer - das geht gar nicht. Zudem Bauarbeiten im Nebenhaus, das war jedoch vorher erwähnt. Die Wohnung benötigt Aufmerksamkeit und Reparaturen.

Didn’t like the layout, had to walk through the bedroom from the lounge where the sofa beds were, to the bathroom. The kitchen was the top of the landing, very cold! Steps uneven, could be quite dangerous, definitely wouldn’t stay with children. Would have liked a toaster.

The view is unmatched!!

Good location and the apartment was very clean. The virtual assistant was prompt, helpful and we were connected quickly with a real person when necessary. Good wifi connection.

The underfloor heating in the main room and bedroom was inadequate. We were told it took a while to come on but it never did so we were really cold - especially with it being an old building with old, poor double glazing. No luggage storage facilities and the website suggested to help us with that was impossible to navigate. No guest information in the apartment.

Sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, ein längerer Aufenthalt ist durchaus möglich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und das Bad überdurchschnittlich eingerichtet. Die Lage ist ein Traum, direkt gegenüber vom Hotel Sacher.

Die Küche ist im Zimmer 201 etwas klein ausgefallen, was aber nur bei einem längeren Aufenthalt etwas unvorteilhaft ist, und es fehlt beim Eingang eine Garderobe, um seine Jacke bzw. Schuhe abzulegen. Da das Zimmer bei einer viel befahrene Straße liegt, sind Ohropax nützliche, um vom Straßenlärm in den Abend- bzw. Nachtstunden nichts mitzubekommen.

It took us an hour to get into the apartment. It took multiple calls to host and to Booking.com to resolve while we were sitting in the hallway after traveling all day. The electronic key pad was not working probably because there was no wi-fi. And they had no backup procedures in place. We had no wi-fi for our stay either.

Apartment is directly in the city center.

Loud music at the bar right under the apartment, plenty of drunk and screaming people under the windows and in front of the main entrance to the apartment. No parking, no storage room for luggage, door handles are coming off. Too expensive for the quality you get
