This home is beautiful! The owners were super kind and quick to give dining recommendations and respond to any and all needs we had. Cleanliness is sooo important and this guest house had a fresh, clean smell starting when we first stepped into the elevator. Everything was clean & spotless! Owners even set up a small bed, beside ours, for our son. Remember this is a guest house that’s connected to the main house where the owners live. In the past we’ve always rented entire homes so this was a new experience for us. Privacy is super important for us to truly relax. I feel this was lacking in this rental. The listing states it’s a private pool but the home has a large amount of windows in the main house and guest house that face the pool and dock areas. We could see into the main house and rentals windows from the back yard (no blinds or curtains in many of these windows). Even though the owners could not have been more kind, it felt as if someone was always looking and checking in on what we were doing. We definitely disliked having hired workers in the driveway lying on the ground in front of our garage entrance and the workers on the roof playing music and watching my son and myself swimming in the pool. The docks damage/safety wasn’t found out by us until we walked on it at night which really put our sons and our safety at risk. Wish we were informed sooner. The dock was the main reason for choosing this rental and we only could use less than half of it 😞

The location was perfect. Close to all attractions and things we wanted to do. Parking is provided. The apartment was beautiful and the outdoor setting is lovely. Owners were so friendly. We would stay here again for sure.

Dinos and Cherie are kind and thoughtful hosts. Their guest house is beautifully appointed and their attention to the little details was very much appreciated. The river, the pool, the sunsets can’t be beat. We were comfortable from day one and loved staying at their home. If we come back this way, this will be the first place we book!

We had an amazing and relaxing stay at this fabulous property in an established neighborhood located on the Stono River. It has all of the amenities that create an ideal respite. The Owner's are welcoming professionals who have created a peaceful environment for their guests. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We chose this as our base for a 3 day getaway to the greater Charleston area. In reality we could have happily spent all three days at Dinos and Cherie's little paradise. We had everything we needed. It was quiet, private and peaceful. The property is clean and beautiful. Sunsets from the private pier are amazing! Coffee on the little deck in the morning with birds singing in the moss covered oaks was magical. The property is a quick 15 minute drive into downtown and close to all other area attractions. Dinos and Cherie are gracious hosts and more than willing to provide suggestions and information. Wish we had more time there!

This was an incredible VRBO, the best we have ever used The home is clean, beautifully decorated and in a serene, beautiful area. Looks out over Charleston waters and has every thing you could ask for. The owners were graceful and an absolute pleasure to talk to .

This is such a beautiful property! My daughter got married here in the backyard by the water. Just a little family ceremony. The hosts were so accommodating and hospitable. They went completely over and above our exceptions! I would highly recommend this property.

We rarely return to the same lodging during our travels but this is an exception. Wonderful space and the view of the river and oak trees is spectacular. Owners are friendly and helpful. The apartment is well stocked, clean, and comfortable.

From the booking, check in, to our departure, the communication and attention to detail was exceptional. The Riverfront guest house perfect and we liked having an elevator since we arrived late at night. We enjoyed the dock for our morning tea/coffee and in the evening for the sunset. The proximity to Charleston, Shem creek and the beaches was just right. We highly recommend and we look forward to coming back!

From the welcoming entry to the moss in the trees, everything about Dinos and Cherie's home was exquisite. There was plenty of room, snacks, and beautiful views, rain or shine. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood just minutes to Ashley River plantations, great restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Looking forward to staying with them again!

We had a great 4 day stay at the Riverfront Guest House. Cherie and Dinos were very welcoming hosts. So wheelchair accessible starting with the elevator from the garage lobby directly to inside the unit. Once inside 36" wide doorways. Open floor plan and large bathroom and shower. Many windows to enjoy the water views as much from inside as outside. We had lunch at the poolside table. The walkway ramps were very helpful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful guesthouse. What a beautiful stay we had! This was our first time visiting Charleston. What an interesting and fun city - with so much history! What made our trip even more enjoyable was Dinos’ and Cherie’s place! After putting miles on our shoes taking in so much of what Charleston has to offer, we appreciated that we had such a relaxing place to come back to. Winding down in the evening and taking in the sunset out on the pier was amazing. We even spotted dolphins swimming through their dock area. Thank you to Dinos and Cherie for sharing this special place. We would definitely love to come back one day soon and stay with them again. Absolutely wonderful hosts!

We were welcomed with no issues and met them with a glass of wine in hand. Smile! Cherie and Dinos were excellent host, very knowledgeable of the area and places to go. The pool was very relaxing, the landscaping was well maintained, and the pier deck was a bonus. The location of their home is perfect! We were able to enjoy sitting out on the edge of the deck at both sunrise and sunset, while boats cruised up/down the waterway. We will definitely be booking them again! The condo was exactly like the pics and listing! No disappointment in any area! A beautiful view from the living room and bedroom! Hosts thought of every touch to make our visit nice. One of our best experiences and favorite place!

My husband and I celebrated our 19th anniversary here! If you are looking for a great place to rest… look no further! This house is close to downtown Charelston (about 8 miles) and about 8 miles to Folly Beach. We were able to tour during the day and spend the evenings at the beach and loved every second! The house has all the amenities you could ask for and the pool and the river behind is a wonderful view and area to relax. Do not hesitate to book this space as it was one of the best places we have found to date!

We loved everything about our stay here at Dinos and Cherie’s VRBO. It was like a home away from home. Having an elevator helped so much with all our luggage. From the welcome bottle of wine and basket of treats to the going home treats, it was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary! The sunsets in the evening off the dock are amazing and we even got to see dolphins playing a few evenings. Dinos and Cherie, you were the perfect host and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again if we ever visit Charleston. We have already referred some friends and family to this little slice of heaven! Thank you for sharing your home and hospitality for our anniversary getaway!

When we thought about where we wanted to go for a getaway, we knew we wanted to return to Cherie and Dinos’ lovely home. Everything about it is absolutely delightful - from the exceptionally clean and well maintained apartment to the beautiful pool and dock. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge!

Cherie and Dinos are the epitome of southern hospitality! This unit is in such a beautiful location. The view of the river from the living room and bedroom was spectacular and the location is convenient to both Charleston and the sea islands. Everything was super clean and we appreciated the extra touches. My son loved fishing right from the dock and I enjoyed relaxing in the pool and looking up at the Spanish moss. can’t wait to go back!!

Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Right on the river gives lovely views. Heated pool is a bonus.

This is a great property in a great location. Access to all Charleston and surrounding areas with short driving distance. Beautiful location on the Shono River. Hosts were thoughtful and very helpful. House had the little things you don't always think about.
