Lovely apartment great location

Apartment is ideal for quiet break in the sun ….every thing you need is minutes walk away and view is wonderful

Great holiday perfect location as we are nearing 60 lol clean and adequate the selling point for us was the enormous veranda only down side not the fault of owners were the flies and the taxi numbers don’t work for some reason off mobile phone 🤷‍♀️

The apartment has everything you need and is in a great location right on the extreme edge of Puerto del Carmen but with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The zigzag path to Puerto Calero starts right outside the apartment! Comfy bed, nice bathroom areas and plenty of space. Communication with host was the only slight negative - the phone number we were given was never answered, but luckily someone phoned back each time we tried to contact them (esp. from the airport!). Key handover lasted about 30 seconds! A non-working coffee machine was replaced 2 days later, but was a nice luxury to have. But the terrace and view from this apartment were amazing! We really didn't want to leave (and this very rarely happens with us, so is praise indeed!). The terrace is huge (we didn't see a bigger one in the whole of Puerto del Carmen!), gets sun all day long, has a great view of the harbour, and has a part-covering which allows dappled shade or full sun according to how hot you are! Nice recliners, comfy chairs and table/chairs. Basically, if you are like us, you will spend all your time on that terrace! And, if you are like us, you will love it :-)

We didn’t know anything about Puerto del Carmen but definitely thought this was the best place for us after seen the rest of the town.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment completely exceeded our expectations on all levels. Angeles is a wonderfully kind host, she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was absolutely perfect - nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted by her and her lovely daughter upon arrival and treated to a wonderful bottle of wine as a welcome gift! The apartment was beautifully laid out and very tastefully furnished, and it was SPOTLESSLY clean. I especially loved the storage solutions provided - it allowed complete organisation throughout our stay.. For the ladies .... double sinks with two very spacious drawers underneath, excellent lighting (for makeup application) and plug socket for hair dryer etc. A hair dryer is supplied but doesn't have a nozzle. I would argue that the photos provided do not do this apartment justice - it is so much nicer in reality. Towels (including beach towels and face cloths) bed linens and tea towels were provided along with a wide range of cleaning materials. A large bottle of hand sanitiser was also supplied. Wifi was fast and consistent. The sunny terrace is huge, furnished with sunbeds, dining table and chairs, and an informal coffee area! There are two adjustable canopies to provide shade when required. The views across the harbour and out towards sea can be enjoyed from both the terrace and the apartment - breathtaking! Location is perfect, short walk along the beautiful harbour boardwalk to Old Town then approximately 5 minute walk from there to nearest beach. 10 minute walk from here will take you to the 'strip' in the 'New Town'. There is a small supermarket 2 minutes walk away which provides almost everything you may need during your stay. Next door to this is a friendly bar restaurant which also supplies take away meals. We hired a car and found it very easy to park, however from experience I know this may be more challenging during busier periods, particularly during the July fiesta when the main carpark in the harbour is closed. That said, a space can always be found - just perhaps not as close by. A car is by no means necessary for this location as everything is accessible on foot. Finally, a huge thank you to Angeles, you are a fantastic host, you made our stay absolutely perfect! We hope to return to your beautiful apartment very soon. Take care and stay safe xxxx

An excellent apartment which proved to be exactly as described in the online advertising. Christian is an excellent host who maintained good communication both prior to our stay and whilst we were there.

Great apartment with fantastic views, would highly recommend and stay again.

This is in a quiet area yet only 5 minutes to the restaurants bars. We did not want to leave and the views when you open the doors is breathtaking. The balcony is massive with the sunbeds on them and the biggest in the complex so plenty of room to move about on... Will definitely return.

We absolutely loved the apartment, the view over the harbour & everything about Tias. The apartment is very well equipped & comfortable. The restaurants & beach at Playa Chica are all in easy walking distance. Warm & friendly welcome on arrival from Christian, plus some complimentary little treats left out for us! Highly recommend. Cant wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay, and Christian is very helpful. Apartment is bright and has all you need for two people. Location is good, close to restaurants, supermarket and harbour.

Beautiful location and lovely apartment. Comfortable and well equipped with lovely terrace overlooking the harbour. No oven but everything else you need in the kitchen. Near supermarket and a good selection of restaurants. Christian extremely helpful and quick to help when there was a problem.

Just back from a relaxing holiday at el ancla apt . The views from the apartment were great . Nice quiet location , but near enough to all amenities . Great restaurants near to the apartment in the Old Town . Added bonus was the good reliable wifi .Air conditioning in the bedroom would have be a great option , but it won't put us off booking again . Christian was a great host , prompt replies provided about any questions that needed answered prior to our arrival . We will definitely return to this apartment .

The apartment is clean, tidy and well appointed. It is situated in a quiet location, whilst the Restaurants, Bars and shops in the Old Town are only a short walk away. It has a huge terrace from which to enjoy the stunning views. We would happily recommend the apartment to others.

Lovely apartment in a very peaceful spot with easy access to thenold town. Only down side was being too hot to sleep at night. fans inadequate. Other than that would definitely recommend it & hope to return soon. Excellent communication from the owner who was very helpful & replied to any questions straight away.

Had an amazing stay here for 10 nights, views are gorgeous and terrace and pool area is ideal for relaxing, also access below to harbour leading to sea so great place for snorkelling! Christian was a great host providing extra touches like tea/coffee etc, also quick and responsive to reply when needed. Overall a fabulous stay will definitely recommend to friends and family!

The property was very clean. Its greatest asset is the enormous balcony overlooking the harbour. It was lovely to eat a leisurely breakfast and watch the harbour gradually come to life as a new day began. Christian was most accommodating and helpful.

the apartment is in a wonderful location close to the harbour and bars and restaurants. The views from the large terrace are second to none and the facilities are brilliant . Would highly recommend this for the perfect holiday

Excellent customer service from Christian. Prompt and helpful replies through the booking process, and always keen to assist with any issues once we arrived. Lovely sunny terrace, and pretty views. The kitchen equipment is a bit basic, but then you`ll probably be eating out at one of the excellent local restaurants!

We had a lovely week in the apartment. The terrace is lovely and spacious with fabulous sea view. Easy walk down to the boardwalk at the harbour and all the restaurants. Convenient supermarket nearby. The apartment was spacious for 2 and I think you could easily have another adult or a couple of children in the small second bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had nice modern decor. We hope to visit again.

The owner was fantastic. I lost my mobile phone en route and Christian was extremely helpful and responsive. Modern facilities, secure and tastefully furnished. Great view of the harbour from the huge terrace area. Many thanks for all your help whilst on the island, it was much appreciated

Looking for that warm winter break we found this lovely modern aparment in a quiet area of Puerto Del Carmen situated in the old town overlooking the harbour. We really loved the very large outside terrace,with the choice of sunloungers or table and chairs &sun brolly we where spoilt. Inside the apartment there is a compact kitchen area with everything you need from fridge ,hob, microve and toaster etc. Bathroom was bright and very clean with lovely shower but could do with a few more towels (pointed this out to owner and he appreciated the feed back). Both bedrooms where really comfotable with ample wardrobe space. . For eating out there are lots of restaurants in the area .Our favourite being Marios situated behind the apartment at the top of the steps in the Tropical Centre where there are also a few nice bars. We would recommend this apartment to couples and also to family with small children. We normally return to Lanzarote every year and would definatly book this apartment again . We just came back from an amazing stay in Lanzarote. The apartment could not be in a better location, overlooking the sea and the harbour with stunning views from a gigantic terrace where we enjoyed breakfasts each morning and an occasional barbecue in the evenings. The flat has everything you may need starting form a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans etc), comfy double (not twin) bed in the master bedroom with windows overlooking the sea, and finishing on my favourite bit ... the massive terrace with sun loungers and a view to die for. Although the flat is located right by the harbour it could not be quieter than it was. Each day we enjoyed the short board walk to the marina with all its restaurants and fishmongers - La Cofradia de Pescadores is the best place to eat there. I was really happy that our flat was located where it was as we had no issue with parking at all and the harbour and playa chica (great place to go snorkelling as the dives who use the beach for training courses feed the fish there so it feels like swimming in an aquarium) seems to be much more stylish than the main strip and playa grande. We would definitely recommend to rent a car and explore the island. Apart form the touristy bits like Jameos del Agua, Cesar Manrique house, Omar Sharif house and Timanfaya National Park we would recommend to visit other places like the Papagayo beach (fabulous place which you can only reach via a dirt track) with its great bar hanging over the cliff. On the way back form there we DEFINITELY RECOMMEND to stop at Casa Emiliano in Femes - the best authentic canarian home made food we have tasted so far. Also worth visiting is Haria where on Saturday there is a local artesan market where you can buy all sorts of locally produced food and cheeses and artwork - great place for gift shopping. The north of the island has some amazing lagoons (stop by the road on the way back from Orzola -good place for a local fish and seafood restaurants- towards Jameos del Agua if you see other cars parked and check it out for yourself). If you not scared of a 30 min walk on a desert go to El Volcan - unlike in the national park where you are not allowed to explore without a guide, here you can actually enter the crater itself!! There are many more places to visit on the island and Mr Dorndorf is a great source of knowledge when it comes to Lanzarote. He recommended us to visit some of the less touristy bits, and he just could not be more hospitable Kasia & Seth
