We enjoyed our 10-day stay at this conveniently located and roomy apartment, an easy walk to the main piazza in downtown Siena. It was clean and had a well-supplied kitchen and laundry, two key requirements for us for week-plus stays. The property manager met us at the door with the key and showed us around. The apartment itself also has several small balconies (though no furniture on them) and from two of them you have a lovely view of Siena. Living in this apartment felt very much like we had taken over an Italian grandma's house, with the covered furniture, dark paintings and glass chandeliers all from an older time, though I suppose that matches the vibe of a medieval city. However the wardrobes in the bedroom have a strong mothball smell and were the only closets, so we didn't use them and kept them closed. Although there is a small parking area across the street, parking is slightly stressful as there is no designated spot, we often felt like we got the last spot on the entire street. Small grocery stores are also within walking distance. Overall, the apartment worked fine for us.

We were all very impressed. Alessandra was quick to respond and helpful with travel suggestions. The apartment was clean and roomy and had three balconies providing excellent views.

Everything was great at Alessandra's apartment in Siena. Almost every room has its own balcony which was nice when sipping on some local wines. The location was just outside city center allowing for easy access to the city by foot and major roads for day trips to Florence and Pisa. Alessandra was very quick to respond when some issues came up and she has some great suggestions on places to go eat. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in Siena and Tuscany.

This was the best apartment rented in my many years of traveling using VRBO! The view from balcony of the Siena Cathedral with the full moon overhead was magical. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and Alessandra and Sara went above and beyond . The pictures do not do this great place justice. Highly recommend.

We drove down from Lucca for 2 nights to attend the Palio. We wanted to stay outside the walls and Alessandra’s apartment was perfectly located about as close to the city gate as possible. In spite of the Palio we located a parking spot within spitting distance of the apartment. We chose however not to move the car till after the Palio for fear of losing such a good spot. The apartment was much larger than we expected and everything was in working order. It had a full kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine but we never cooked as we were so close to the restaurants in Siena. If we returned to Siena I would certainly rent her apartment again

Look no further for a place to stay in Sienna. We stayed here as a base for visiting the Tuscany area. To begin, communication with Alessandra was great as she responded to my many inquiries right away which I really appreciated and check-in and check-out were a breeze. This beautiful home is super clean with all amenities including air conditioning and 2 bathrooms. The views from the balcony are spectacular which we enjoyed w/ a bottle of wine! 10-15 minute walk to Piazza del Campo and all Sienna has to offer. Check out Alessandra's book as it includes tons of useful information and recommendations. We had a wonderful time in Sienna and definitely recommend this apartment!

The apartment was beautiful, accurately described in the photos. Seating and beds were very comfortable. The only downside was that it was a bit of a hike (about a 10 minute walk uphill) to get into the old city

Terrific home within minutes of Siena city center. Lovely furnishing and convenient location. Owner was gracious and kind with clear and responsive communications. We had a wonderful trip, made better by this wonderful home.

The house was in a great location. The house was dusty in many areas. The listing was lacking a few important details 1. no one is at the address to let you in. You must give an exact time you will be arriving as someone has to drive to let you in. I told them when my flight landed, and I would communicate my eta once I had the rental car. Luggage took awhile to arrive as well as a line at the rental car place. The communication was lacking 2. the max fan blows out warm air and was not helpful at all in the hot humid weather 3. the person that lets you in does not speak English, was in a hurray to leave as she waited for us longer than anticipated and ran us through the house so quickly 4. The host asked us for our passports via email more than once was not organized There was a detailed book there by the host so that was helpful, once we found it. Overall it is a great location, close to the city center, parking on the street was okay but not always close to the house.

The apartment was a short walk to the center of town. It was well stocked, clean and roomy. This was the best rental I had in Italy.

You are renting someone’s home, very comfy. Has everything - we cooked several meals. Grocery store and pizzeria very close by. Off the beaten tourist path but an easy walk to the old town. Loved the balconies and the view of the Duomo. The apartment is basically at street level so no carrying luggage up multiple sets of stairs. Alessandra is very helpful and connected us with a local tour guide that arranged a personal visit to a Chianti vineyard. Alessandra has also prepared a full information book for visitors with all the information you will need.

This was the perfect apartment for the two of us. It is furnished so well with beautiful antiques, excellent appliances, and an extremely helpful guide book for guests, Alessandra's hospitality was perfect and available when needed. The views of Il Doumo, the valley, and the city are spectacular. A supermarket is a short walk and the walk towards the city center is not long. We will return and enjoy this place again.

Very clean 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment that is very conveniently located. The owner was very responsive and helpful! Wonderful stay!

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for the week. We walked up the steep hill to the historic center almost every day, it's about 15 minutes on foot. Parking on the street was usually available right in front of the apartment, or a block away. Alessandra was quick to respond to emails when I needed her. It was cool and rainy most of the days we were there, we appreciated having extra blankets for the bed, umbrellas available and drying racks for our wet clothes. 10/10 would stay here again

Great apartment and base for seeing Siena and Tuscany. Excellent location right near main parking for the central town. Classy and clean. Fantastic views from balconies! Huge bedrooms. Very well equipped. Definitely recommend.

The property was exactly as listed in the write up. Fabulous location so close to the center of Siena. Beautiful area for walks. We visited 11 different cities from this location and toured Chianti. I don't think we could have picked a better location to see Tuscany. We hope to go back in a few years and hope this place is still available. We would definitely rent it again if they would have us. Thanks for everything.

The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated with antiques. You can be inside the old city in a 15 minute walk. We used Siena as our base to explore Tuscany and it worked beautifully! I highly recommend Alessandra’s place for your visit to Siena.

The flat is a very charming, comfortable location close to historic Siena. Beautiful views of the town from the balconies. Not only is it a healthy but not too long walk to town but it’s a great base for seeing the Tuscan region. Parking on the street was always available the week we were there. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a very good vacation rental.

We speak 5 nights in this wonderful apartment- such a treat- so spacious and lovely with all the Italian charm- and the view- best in Verona. Proximity to the arena and all sights outstanding.

Sehr großzügig geschnittene Wohnung in einem Mehrfamilienhaus, das an einer ruhigen Einbahnstraße in einer typischen Wohnsiedlung so am Hang steht, dass man von den Balkonen des Wohnzimmers und des großen Schlafzimmers den Dom und die Altstadt vor Augen hat und sich dadurch ins Mittelalter (Gotik) zurückversetzt fühlt. Die zum Teil antike, sehr edle Inneneinrichtung der beiden Schlafräume und des Wohnzimmers harmonieren mit diesem Eindruck. Zwei Bäder und eine voll ausgestattete Küche runden die Wohnung ab. Man benötigt in Siena mehrere Tage, um die wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden, aber Siena ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die bezaubernde Umgebung: San Gimignano, Colle di Val d´Elsa, Pienza, Montalcino, Kloster Sant´Antimo, Abtei Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Volterra und vieles mehr. Leider waren wir nur eine Woche hier, da wir in der ersten Woche den Norden der Toskana sehen wollten, aber empfehlenswert ist ein Aufenthalt von zwei Wochen! Die per WhatsApp, Telefon und Email immer erreichbare Gastgeberin Frau Carboni zeichnet sich durch ihre hilfsbereite, kompetente und sehr freundliche Art aus. Unsere Reisezeit war Mitte April; bis auf einen Regentag hatten wir (auch in der Nordtoskana) nur Sonnentage um 20°C. Sicherlich auch wegen dieser bezaubernden Wohnung haben wir uns in die Toskana verliebt...

This rental exceeded our expectations. The view of the Siena Duomo from the balcony was magical. It's a fifteen minute walk to be in the heart of the city. There's a grocery within easy walking. The apartment itself is luxurious. The owner is a good communicator and was easy to deal with. We hope to stay here the next time we visit Italy.

The rental was absolutely awesome. We enjoyed ourselves there and truly took advantage of the views from the balcony’s, especially at night. What would make this place perfect would be air conditioning as it did get very warm in the rooms, we were grateful for the fans. Nice secure place to stay!!!

The apartment is very spacious and nicely laid out. It’s right outside the city walls, 15 min walk at the most but it’s up and down the hill so keep it in mind if you’re already exhausted from walking. We, however, enjoyed our stay very much.
