We could not have been more pleased with our stay!!!! The home is absolutely stunning and the open air concept is exactly what we were hoping for. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk from the home and offers many Tiki bar type locations so an island cocktail is never far away. I have to say the the star this wonderful property is Jackie….our personal chef. Jackie is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Showing up each morning with a smile on her face and ready to prepare breakfast. Jackie is a FABULOUS cook and made anything we asked. Best advice is to give her a general idea(seafood, steak, chicken) and let her prepare her island creation. She was available throughout the day and happily made us refreshing cocktail creations. You must try her passion fruit juice…..absolutely the best. All in all a great stay and we will definitely return. Thanks again, Jackie.

Casa Phil is amazing! Andrea and Victor took such good care of us, it felt like staying with family. This house and view are stunning and the beach is very close and beautiful! Lots of small beach-side restaurants--but as others have said, none of them can compete with the meals you'll have right in your open-air dining room.

The location was great, the views were stupendous and Andrea was the best host one could ask for. The property is very private and close to all the locations you would want to visit. The food she prepared for us was the most delicious food we had on the island. We will definitely be back!

Casa Phil was an incredible experience for our entire group. We have been to DR before but usually go the tourist route in other areas. This time we decided to spend a bit more and get a true and rich Dominican Republic experience. Casa phil provided that for us!!! The view is amazing and the villa is magnificent! Carlos took care of everything we needed and was always available. Now that we are back home we miss Andreas cooking and are dreaming of returning again!

What can I say except that house is specular, the location is fantastic and Carlos, Andrea and Victor are wonderful! Would definitely go back!

Everything at Casa Phil was perfect. Wonderful house in a wonderful location

This has been one of the most amazing vacations we have taken. The house is awesome. Andrea cooks like a dream and her banana pancakes are at the top of the list! The beaches were great. We rented 4 wheelers and managed to get a guide with Carlos’ help and had the best day seeing so much of the area. We felt safe and truly had a blast! We highly recommend!!!

We had a great time at Casa Phil. The views are amazing and the house staff was very accommodating and friendly. Carlos did a great job making sure that we were taken care of during our stay. Las Terrenas is a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommend renting some Quads and taking them around town. Several beaches to enjoy during your stay. Don’t miss the small seafood trailer/restaurant in El Portillo. Great food.

We are a family of 4 that recently (June, 2019) spent 10 days at this magnificent property. The house is stunning with amazing views. It is truly indoor/outdoor living at it's best - with bedrooms that can be sealed up to use the AC. Carlos, the property manager was extremely helpful before and during our stay. He patiently answered all of my numerous questions (our first visit to the area) and was willing and able to help with any and all arrangements we needed. Andrea and Victor live on the property and do the cooking, cleaning & maintenance. They are very kind and friendly people and Andrea's cooking is wonderful. We ended up eating every single meal in the house - a first for us on vacations. Her cooking was that good and she's works with you to prepare whatever you want (we mostly ate traditional DR food). And be sure to ask her to make you a pina colada - they're the best! Her husband Victor does all of the shopping. Basically, you never have to leave the house if you don't want to. It's all inclusive. We ended up canceling half of our excursions because we didn't want to leave. The house is as it appears on the website and is just as stunning as it is depicted. It's also an easy & short walk to a large, gorgeous (and not very crowded!) beach. This house offers a unique and special experience and for people looking for relaxation and luxury, it fits the bill! Thank you Andrea, Victor and Carlos for a great stay!

Casa Phil was an amazing place to stay! The manager, Carlos, and the staff, Andrea and Victor, made everything very smooth from start to finish. We were just able to relax and have fun with nothing to worry about. The meals, prepared by Andrea, were scrumptious. The views from the Villa were beautiful, and the walk to the beach easy. A great place to stay for families or a group of friends. Highly recommend!

An outstanding house and property. We had a great time and really enjoyed being spoiled by Andrea and Victor who went over and above to make our stay fabulous. Andrea is a wonderful cook - Kudos. Great beaches and restaurants in Fisherman's Village.

The place is absolutely amazing, it opens up completely allowing for lots of fresh air and the view is beyond anything else (we saw whales from the balcony). Andrea’s cooking is the best you will ever find and her husbond Victor is helpful with anything and everything. Just for future reference: our gas and electricity was about 160USD for 5 days, the place is huge, we used air con at Night and in one room at daytime. Its a short walk to the beach, but would recommend also going to Playa Escondida.

The property was spectacular. The beaches are close by and beautiful. Andrea is eager to please , and a wonderful cook. Victor and Carlos are willing to provide whatever you need for a relaxing vacation.

This property completely blew us away. There were 7 of us but it could easily sleep double that. The house is massive and all open air with electronic shutters that close at night. The price includes the house keeper and chef Andrea who cooks you an amazing breakfast and lunch of your choice everyday as well as makes the beds and cleans the house. The house is a 5 min walk to the beach and 30 min to walk to town, but there is really no reason to leave the house. We rented ATV"s to explore different nearby beaches. Thanks for the great stay!

Casa Phil was everything we imagined and more! We are a family of 5 with 3 children (5, 9 and 14) and traveled with a couple of friends. We had a truly unforgettable experience in Las Terrenas and would gladly recommend Casa Phil to others. The home is beautiful, one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen actually. Every morning we woke up to the most amazing views of the sea and enjoyed our coffee and eggs overlooking the ocean. We ventured into town a few times and enjoyed lovely meals. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in Las Terrenas so you never go without a meal! The beaches are amazing and the people were very friendly. Andrea the woman who helps around the house was great, she doesn’t speak very much English so it was a bit difficult to converse but we did what we could with google translate  it also forced us to brush up on our Spanish! The home is beautifully furnished with a beautiful pool area with a pool table and BBQ, hanging swing chairs were super cool and the bedrooms all spacious and fitted with everything you need. We especially liked the fact that you hit a button and the doors open to the outside so your inside, but get an outdoor feel! We initially were worried about the security in the area but soon realised that it was not an issue as it’s very safe and you can walk around anywhere. This was hands down the best vacation we have had so far! Thank you to Phil, Carlos, Andrea, Daniel and Viktor for such a memorable stay!

Our family stayed here for a birthday week in November. We had such a wonderful time. The villa is beautiful and comfortable. The main room has so much natural light and has an area that is open to a garden which allowed for a beautiful morning reading session overlooking a very zen garden, Mornings were such a treat. Our daily routine was to sit on the swinging chairs and read while enjoying fresh Dominican Republic coffee served by the amazing house keeper, Andrea. Andrea spoiled us daily by preparing adorable trays of coffee (with fresh flowers), preparing breakfast (OMG her omelettes are to die for!!), doing our laundry, preparing lunch upon request, doing all the dishes, and keeping the entire villa clean. She was so sweet and accommodating. She speaks Spanish and we were able to communicate easily with the help of a Spanish dictionary and the Google translator tool, but she is trying to learn English which was cool because we taught each other! The Loma Bonita community itself is wonderful. There is lots to do and see. We enjoyed the beach, the Sol Y Mar restaurant nearby, the yacht club, and spent many late nights in Pueblos de Los Pescadores :). We absolutely LOVED taking the golf cart we rented everywhere. The whole trip felt so laid back and relaxing. A highlight was the couple’s massage we had at the house that Carlos the house manager arranged for us. Those ladies are talented! Him and Philippe were SO helpful throughout the entire process of booking the trip, arranging transportation from the airport, restaurant recommendations, and random questions we had during our stay. This trip was one of a kind and we absolutely can't wait to go back one day. We recommend booking Casa Phil!!

The house was absolutely beautiful, waking up everyday hearing the birds chirp was a big difference from home. Our stay there was nothing less than extraordinary, waking up in the morning looking out over the ocean was so relaxing. The beach is only a 3 minute walk away so even without a vehicle you can get to the relaxing sounds of the ocean without a sweat! We spent 6 days at Casa Phil and loved every second, so many places that you can visit right in the area, the house is in the perfect location. The house includes 4 bedrooms one being the master bedroom, a very large living area with TV, swinging chairs on the upper deck and a large enough pool deck, we wish we brought more friends because this area is meant for entertaining!. I cannot wait to head back there next year for another 7 days of paradise!!

This is one of the most beautiful villas I have ever seen! Every room is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Looks like something out of a catalogue, and it just so happens there was a magazine on the table that actually featured Casa Phil, so I was right!! It is made for a magazine! The open air floor plan is stunning! The inside becomes outside really easy here as there are mechanical doors all around the house to be opened to the outdoors. Everything was just beautiful. The staff was wonderful! Andrea (the chef and house helper) was so talented. And Carlos the house manager even arranged to get us a birthday cake for my husband as he was turning 50 while we were there! She made us beautiful, fresh creations every day for breakfast. Her english is not great, but she gets by and as far as I could understand she is trying to learn more. There was also a young man who was around the house daily helping to clean the common areas and working on general maintenance. He was very nice and did keep the grounds immaculate! Phil the owner was a pleasure to deal with from months before the trip and the whole time we were there. He really helped to make my husbands birthday very special. The area was beautiful. Ballenas beach was in walking distance and was just lovely. I do recommend an excursion to El Limon or the Samana Zip Line. Both very nice. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and will recommend Casa Phil! Hope you enjoyed your stay as much as we did!
