Me and my husband and our two adult children just returned from the most wonderful vacation at Amelia Palms. We loved every minute of it. I agree with all previous rave reviews so instead of repeating, I will just say the house was beautiful, spacious, convenient and the "little touches" that Charlene left us made us feel even more comfortable there - like we were truly her guests. Welcome messages, a nice bottle of wine - There were many products left there for our convenience - everything from paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex's, plastic wrap, foil, to GREAT and CLEAM kitchen small appliances - sharp knives, dishwasher, laundry and hand/body soaps, shampoos, conditioners... these little things added to a stress-free and comfortable stay. There was even a net available to us so that we could easily remove the leaves out of the pool. We were in Florida in mid-August and the weather was so spectacular that the pool water temp was actually cool! Perfect way to end the day at the beach. We used the bikes and golf carts and hot tub. Did not use the new grill, outdoor TV or fire pit but they were clean and ready for us!! We had NO issues and I particularly appreciated that we were allowed to rent the house for less than one week. I also recommend going to the Omni Resort Spa for a massage and taking an Amelia River Sunset Cruise for an even more spectacular stay in Amelia Island. Do not hesitate to book this gem!

An annual event but the first time we have stayed here. It is in the Omni and perhaps one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. I gave 4 stars for cleaning instead of 5 as there was a light or 2 that could use some dusting. The home was lovely but the bathroom situation was not ideal. While it lists 3 bathrooms, there is a Jack -n- Jill bath between 2 bathrooms and a very nice enclosed outdoor bath with shower.

This property was just as described. It was wonderful!!! My family and I had a great vacation here! I had a few questions throughout the week and they were answered immediately. We plan on coming back to the property for many more vacations!

We are a family of five with three teenagers- we used the bikes, the golf cart, the pool, everything the house had to offer! Beautiful neighborhood on a great property as part of the Omni resort.

The home was clean and spacious. Charlene was easy to contact and quick to reply. We didn't have any issues, but she did care enough to ask if we had any questions and let us know to reach out if we did. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Beach access is nearby. The golf cart was a great benefit getting to the beach, shops and mini golf. We had an awsome time in the backyard oasis. We spent most days enjoying the pool and hot tub and in the evenings we grilled out and toasted marshmallows around the fire. My family was very impressed with the home and amenities! The only complaint is having to leave.

Charlene is a wonderful host. Very acommodating and kind. The house is BEAUTIFUL. The pool and hot tub are a huge perk. Amelia island is the perfect location and the house is in a luxury resort property, so you can take the golf cart to the beach. We will be back💕

Major renovations-A home run! From the inside to outside, magnificent! Amazing time grilling at the new outdoor kitchen while children were in the pool and other adults watching a game on the new outdoor TV. Amelia Palms is definitely the place you want to go to relax and recharge. The golf cart and bicycles provided during our stay were so much fun. We will absolutely be back and real soon!

This is a spacious & comfortable home with a lot offer. The beautifully landscaped & well appointed patio is the star. A refreshing pool, a relaxing hot tub and an outdoor kitchen provide a lot of options. We enjoyed the fire pit, too. The beach is a 15 min walk via the tree-canopied paths in the peaceful, lush neighborhood. Or take the golf cart included with the home for a 5 min ride to the beach access. We enjoyed riding the bikes provided to explore more of AI. At night during leisurely strolls in the neighborhood, we could hear the ocean’s waves. The house allows a lot of room to move around in your own space or shared space with others. Plenty of fluffy towels & decent bedding plus a generous supply of consumables (which many rentals don’t offer). Didn’t use the kitchen much since AI offers many good restaurants. Charlene is very responsive as needed; but no communication during our stay due to her good planning & forethought. We’ve stayed on AI before; we found the Omni Resort to be more desirable than the north end of AI. Don’t hesitate to book.

Our stay at Amelia Palms was sensational. The home was so inviting. We booked to attend “The Amelia”car show and fell in love with Amelia Palms. The host was very quick to answer any questions I had, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the well-stocked kitchen to the new plush bedding, yummy pillows and pristine cleanliness, all our expectations were met.
Some of our highlights were having coffee early in the mornings by the pool and listening to the birds singing. Each bedroom has its own private seating area with lush tropical plants. The house is on a cul-de-sac, which was very quiet and no traffic. We used the golf cart and bicycles, which are provided, to go to the beach, the spa and shops, and even the on-property restaurants. My husband loves to cook and used the outdoor kitchen constantly.
We are hooked and have already booked for next year when we can stay longer. Bottom line – we highly recommend Amelia Palms. The outdoor/pool area truly felt like paradise.

The property was great - roomy and well supplied. What made it really special, though, was the thoughtful help provided by the owner. Charlene went out of her way to help me correct an issue with our booking, and to make sure our stay was perfect. She even left us a personal note and bottle of wine to welcome us. We'd definitely stay here again.

I could write a lot here. After waiting more than a week to submit this review, I hope I’m able to be accurate without going overboard.
The house was once lovely, and it could be wonderful. Perhaps because the owners are not local, it has fallen into a sad state and I would not consider returning unless they spend some time and money on it. I say this despite LOVING the island and the resort.
There is a serious, visible mold problem in the second bathroom and extending into the adjacent bedroom. The bathroom ceiling is collapsing and the mold that is a part of the collapse is growing in the a/c conduit, out the vent and blows directly onto the bed. My daughter and her husband vacated the room and slept in the kids’ room - with them - for 7 days. I notified the owners immediately and they sent two contractors while we were there. No resolution. I will note that - as I go back through the VRBO reviews - other renters have previously commented on this. Yes, I rented anyway, thinking it couldn’t be so bad. I was wrong.
The house and grounds are not being cleaned/maintained. IMO, the owners are being ripped off by their services. I have told them this,
Not working were the dishwasher and disposal. I was promised a replacement dishwasher by the third day and it did not materialize. Be prepared to deal with kitchen waste garbage and to wash your dishes by hand.
The bedding old, cheap and poor. Bring your own pillows.

We love this house for the location! Hard to find a private pool and private beach at an affordable price! The home is a gem but does need some repairs. The bathroom ceiling was in bad shape when we arrived. We notified Bryan and within 30 minutes a repair guy showed up, which was impressive!
We've already rebooked for next year because the location is so perfect! It would be nice to see some upgrades to the beds and pillows. Even a memory foam topper would be a good addition.
All in all, a wonderful stay 😎

Our family had an amazing time at the beautiful house which included multiple amenities (pool, hot tub, bikes, golf cart, washer and dryer). The location was private, surrounded by trees, and had easy access to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Our stay well over all. The outside bathroom toilet was broken. I reported it to the owner and he said he would send a plumber. In a week, the plumber never replaced the toilet handle.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed staying here. Having the pool and hot tub right in the back yard was wonderful and we used them everyday. The drive to the beach is very short on the golf cart and we loved having the golf cart to drive around the plantation. We also loved having all of the bikes to use! The house was lovely, and we will definitely rent this house again. My only suggestion would be to ask the cleaners to do a deep clean. A lot of dust on air vents, fans, window corners etc... Fantastic house!! Looking forward to coming back!

The house was nestled in beautiful landscaping all around. A very wide open home with many amenities. Having the golf cart to drive around the plantation and to take to the beach access was fantastic. The plantation grounds were just breath taking and pristine. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hopefully we can return soon. Thank you Bryan for sharing your beautiful home on Amelia Island.

We loved the home . We cook in a lot and everything one would need to cook was avail . The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. Such a smooth check in and check out .. no step to have to go up and down to unload your vehicle was so nice compared to staying in a condo on the beach .
Pool was very nice as was the spa which I used every evening!

This place was perfect. Space, pool, spa, golf cart and bikes were great. My family had a great time at the beach and the pool. The privacy of the home is great too. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of things close by. Can’t wait to return next year!!

We were very pleased with this property as it accommodated our large 8 person group. We entertained a large group of 16 for dinner one night and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had most everything we needed to prepare great meals.
The hot tub and pool were very nice and were enjoyed by all. The golf cart and bikes were great for getting to and from the beach, which was really a very short ride.
Apparently we arrived shortly after a large group had been using the property for a month and the cleaning crew just could not get the place spic and span in time for our arrival so that is why we only gave the property a 3 out of 5 on cleanliness.
Bryan was so very responsive and supportive, he even sent a new set of sheets overnight as one of the sets was damaged.
Everyone had a great relaxing stay and we would pick this property again should we decide to return to the Amelia Island area.

This home has plenty of space to enjoy a group but the layout and bedrooms having their own private patio doors provides privacy when wanted. Nice pool, wonderful spa. It was like we were visiting a friend - golf cart, soft towels, comfy sheets, tissue paper, etc. Def. not a typical vacation "rental". The only star reduction was for overall cleaning - the windows, silk arrangements, etc. could use a good freshening. But we'd definitely book this home again!

This rental included all the amenities you could want for a location close to the beach and in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation resort complex. Pool and hot tub were a great addition and use of the golf cart is ideal for getting around. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Beautiful property in the plantation Omni resort, my favorite place in Florida. All the amenities are in the home which is full of old world charm. I had a wonderful time. My only suggestion is that the two spare beds need updated mattresses, they were very uncomfortable. I expected more for this price point. I would visit again.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as advertised, and we particularly enjoyed the use of the pool, golf carts, and bikes. Communication with Bryan both before and during the trip was great! There were a couple of maintenance issues that popped up (normal house stuff - not due to lack of attention) and Bryan was great at getting them resolved and taken care of quickly. Much appreciated! An overall great vacation!

Nice stay but with a few “hiccups”
When we arrived on Sunday, we discovered 2 things immediately. The pool was littered with debris from a storm, but the pump wasn’t running. The 2 promised golf carts per the online description, were missing. I texted Bryan and he informed me the pool pump was not working and both golf carts weren’t functioning. He told me rental carts were $120 per day but we found that none were available due to the July 4th holiday. Bryan let me know that the pool should be repaired on Tuesday. He promised to advise me about the cart later. One cart was delivered finally on Wednesday. If we had known this ahead of time, we could have asked for a refund to rent another cart but we weren’t advised until I called after our arrival. No refunds were offered. Also, Renters should be aware that the bath that is only accessible from the pool area does not have hot water so it can’t really be used for a 3rd bath unless one enjoys cool showers. In addition, be prepared for scheduled power outages at the plantation(?). We had 2 which lasted exactly 1-2 hours each.

Wonderful home with great amenities and close to beach
The home was even more beautiful in person. It was so fun having the golf cart to ride around the property, and to the beach and restaurants. The bicycles were a nice touch, and my kids greatly enjoyed them. Our favorite part was the pool and fenced in pool area which was perfect for the dogs, knowing that they could be loose and not wander off.
Bryan was easy to reach and a wonderful host!

We enjoyed Bryan’s home from the moment we drove down the driveway and opened the front door. Great yard and amenities including the golf cart to get around. Great communication throughout.

It was legendary!
Kids loved the bikes, golf cart, and pool. We loved Drummond Park and enjoyed the pickle ball, basketball and ping pong. The beach was awesome.

This property is an absolute gem. Location and house are both top notch. The house had everything we needed and the pool area is lush and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return in the future.

Home away from home
We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our annual visit to Amelia Island. Bryan, the host, is incredibly responsive and generous, replacing a major appliance in one day (!) and making sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautifully laid out, with space for everyone to be together, or not, as the day goes on. The property is generously outfitted with bicycles, golf carts, beach towels, and everything you'd want for a day at the beach. It truly felt like our home away from home. We're already planning our return!

Perfect for a family and pets
We’ve been visiting Amelia Island for over 10 years, and this rental was one the best experiences we’ve had. The house was perfect for our needs, two adults, two teens and two fur children. The pool, hot tub and golf carts were greatly appreciated. Everything you can think of is provided. Bryan is a very accommodating and communicative host, and we will definitely look to book again.

OUTSTANDING PROPERTY AND VERY SPECIAL SETTING
This was a very special place if you like a secluded setting surrounded by live oaks and spanish moss ...quiet with the sound of the ocean as a backdrop. The use of the golf carts and bikes to get around was nice. Walking on quiet streets and trails. The area has many fine resturants if you don't want to cook at the property. If your looking for a quiet vacation with lots of amenties near by this is it.

Wonderful stay in Amelia Island!
The house & back yard are comfortable & cozy; the neighborhood is quiet, safe & friendly. In January, the weather is cool - we enjoyed the hot tub morning & night. We did have a few warm days where we went downtown, toured Amelia Island State Park, Ft George in Jacksonville & used the house bikes & golf carts for fun morning rides. Overall an excellent, relaxing time; we will be back in the warmer months to utilize the private pool & outdoor activities Amelia Island offers
