My wife and I are happy to recommend Jame's place to anyone. Clean, organized, quiet, landscaped beautifully on a long and winding road which is but a hope skip and a jump to Asheville. There's an Ingles for groceries nearby, if you need one, restaurants, gas, there's even a quiet little tavern up the road a bit if that's your thing. Friendly people there. Lastly, we had the place all to ourselves, felt like we owned the place. For me personally, that's a nice bit of freedom. Trust is well-placed here. Best, John.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is lovely and feels like home. The hosts thought of everything and even more to make our stay enjoyable, like extra blankets and even a picnic basket! Super clean. Complimentary wine, snacks, coffee, tea, water bottles. Full kitchen with extras like condiments, spices, etc. grill for outdoor cooking. Plenty of games, puzzles, books and wifi with smart tv. Beautiful views. I highly recommend.

I appreciate you all so very much. We rent a lot of places and this experience was top 5 ever, easily. Other than a trip to the grocery store, we wanted for absolutely NOTHING and it's rare to find a rental that is top-notch stocked and prepared to pamper a guest. The property is great and even though there's a couple more houses around, it's private and quiet. The rock house itself is so very cool and homely and the amenities are plentiful! It's perfect because it's very close to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville and Hendersonville--LOTS to do and see. Thanks again--I'm bookmarking this place for future adventures.

Warm, inviting sweet little cottage with everything you need for your stay. The hosts were amazingly helpful and supplied so many treats, snacks, water, wine. You relax the moment you walk into the space. Everything was so clean and fun to explore. A great place for children too! Games, puzzles, books, movies.

We loved staying in this little cottage. We had the fireplace on each evening, and snuggled in the warm, cozy living room reading, and spending time talking. We went down into town to see the Biltmore, and have dinner at an Italian restaurant, but really just enjoyed being together in the cottage. It's quirky, and sweet.

We loved our time at the stone cottage. It was so peaceful, and we even saw a couple of deer right by the house. The hosts were wonderful. Everything was so easy, and every question was answered if you just looked around. We definitely want to come back in the summer!!! Thank you!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Stone Cottage! The hosts were very communicative and everything went smoothly during our stay. The house was cozy and had everything we needed, including some complementary food and drinks, which were a nice touch. The area was quiet and secluded, but fairly close to Asheville, which was perfect for our trip.

This was the perfect getaway. Private and off the beaten path, but only a short drive to everywhere you want to go. It’s even an ideal spot if you don’t want to go anywhere. This comfortable cottage has everything that you would ever need and more.

We stayed at Stone Cottage for 3 nights while visiting the Asheville area. We planned to visit Chimney Rock State Park and the Biltmore Estate, and the cottage was conveniently located between the two. The cottage was VERY comfortable -- we especially liked the large stone fireplace (with nice gas fireplace logs) and the spacious front stone porch. The cottage has EVERYTHING! In fact, we felt like we were staying at someone's home vs. a typical rental. When booking, we needed to be sure to have good internet for my husband's work. Communication with the owners was great, and the internet was fine. We also appreciated the more remote location, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of Asheville. We highly recommend Stone Cottage and would book again for longer if we are ever back in the Asheville area.

The cottage is beautifully decorated. Very kid and family friendly. Very clean beautiful views. The property manager is very friendly and gives responses in a timely manner. It was the perfect place to stay and we want to stay again

Lovely and very cozy cottage. Exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked with every implement you could possibly need, plus snacks anf a bottle of wine. Mr. Sane came over to help us with a minor wi-fi issue. and told us about the interesting history of the house and the property. The area was beautiful, especially with the leaves changing, and conveniently located for Asheville, Chimney Rock and lake Lure. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful rental! You'll enjoy being 25 minutes from all the local attractions like Hendersonville, Asheville and Chimney Rock/Lake Lure. The home is well furnished including some great surprises for guests. It was clean, warm and inviting.

One of the best-equipped places we've ever stayed. Lots of inviting spaces to eat, watch TV, play cards and games, relax with friends and family. Great little extra touches, like a regular coffeemaker and a Keurig with coffee, filters, creamer and sugar supplied; snacks, including popcorn and a popcorn maker; even a bottle of wine in the frig. Homeowner was very responsive and helped me fix my reservation when I accidentally chose the wrong checkout date. Would definitely go back!
